This is a kind of movie only a pilot can make. A flight from Copenhagen to Washington. It’s the fifth passenger flight for this plane and it worked perfect. Welcome onboard! 😊
I have never flown before, but you make me feel confident about one day getting on a plane. I love how you interact with other people, and I appreciate getting to see everything from the pilot's seat. Quite the view! No wonder you seem so happy and humble all the time in your videos!
The joystick-style controller on an Airbus must be hell with a left arm 3 feet longer than the right- like Ozzy Osbourne on Bo Selecta. He has to be admired.
Jee man thank you so much for these videos. They are so awesome to watch and are very exclusive! Thank you again! I really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos for all of us especially during these hard times :D
Mycket bra video. När man drömmer om flygplan och drömmer om vilket jobb som helst runt flygplan (men framförallt pilot) så är dessa videos grymma! Fortsätt gärna med detta. Mycket bra!
like a lot when you make this videos: appreciate a lot if you make some vlogs like " a day in pilot's life", ie from when you wake up, breakfast, going from house / hotel to airport, breafing with collegues, star up and all the flight till the end, so you can build a little story to make all more immersive. thanks Bjorn! :-)
Looks very luxurious vs the regular A320, looking forward to flying this in MSFS2020, i heard there are two crews working on a study level A350. Just hope they come with an SAS livery :)
Thanks Captain. It was great to see the cockpit views of Airbus 350. Sir if you just show the final part of landing from cockpit just when the plane touches down the ground will be fantastic.
I enjoy your videos Bjorn. I hope some day I can fly on SAS and that you will be the pilot. Questions: How long does it take to load freight on a A340 and A350? And how many pounds of freight can each one hold? Thank you.
Thank you. To unload and load takes maybe 0:45 to 1 hr. The A340 can take typical 25-30 tons and A350 5 tons more. Usually the volume is the limiting factor and the A350 has an advantage because it can take larger containers. I think it’s 90” containers.
Starting the engines when the tractor driver says it’s ok. I don’t know what plane you fly, but the forward thrust on even one engine A330/350 is significant at idle. So it depends if the tractor can handle it. It usually can‘t. On the A340 we started 2 at the same time. They had less thrust.
@@bjornpilot Well, the sim truck is very polite (and generic), so whether it’s the A321 or A359, I can just start my engines at my discretion. I think the truck is made of unobtainium with a super engine, because it can handle anything. I am actually doing a flight from EKCH to KMIA in the SE-RSA at this moment. Right now I am approaching GOLUM.
Keep these videos coming they're great to watch, but maybe think about getting a camera without such a high field of view as it distorts video slightly.
A question I have been asking myself for quite some time: Why do airplanes like this one often fly at cruising altitude at 40000 ft. only 260 knots? On flightradar24 I often observe airplanes at this altitude with 450 knots. Does it depend on the wind etc.?
It’s because FR24 tells you the ground speed, here 260 is the indicated airspeed (IAS), if you look at the top left corner of the ND you can see "GS 461" which means groundspeed 461 kts.
260 knots indicated airspeed is the speed the air is hitting the plane. But because the air is thinner the plane can actually go faster hence why GS/TAS are shown on the ND. If the plane were to travel too fast it can cause structural damage which his why IAS/Mach is the main speed to read off
Aviation is finished! Now you need to know (and like) about computers. This is so sad! Pilots turned "flight system's operators" having a keyboard in front of them just like in an office job!
@@bjornpilot that is way so many old school pilots quit flying those planes and refused to turn themselves into "flight system's operators"? I mean, you need to manage all the perafernalia. You even got a keyboard in front of you just like as an office job. How horrible is that?!
@@bluetooth2000 It's still a pilots job and you can enjoy flying with stick and rudder. Great fun even if you have lots of computers and I don't think you can stay in the past. I love the A350!
Wonderful to hear you say " my colleague " about the fueller and the load team leader . Great video again A350 looks absolutely stunning!
It's all about #teamwork 👍🏼🙂
pilot your videos are brilliant and great to watch! Thank you Bjorn .👍
I picked up on that too. Great stuff! A proper human being!
Right! I’m not a pilot (yet) but I would assume some pilots treat ground crew like peasants.

Never stop posting these videos, it's wonderful to see these insights!!
You cannot imagine how special is this for us lovers of planes, frustrated pilots but yet drone pilots. Immense THANKS! 🙏 Best 👍

Tony Marran First video with this Gopro Max. It’s not the camera it’s the editing and I can of course learn more about that.

bjorn pilot just curious how would you rate which plane you enjoy piloting the most between the a330,a340 and A350.

Why do you return FCU ALT selector to 100 instead of keeping 1000? Is it some SAS procedure?
What song did you use in this video? It's so soothing.
Do you usually start engines during or after pushback. I am just asking because when simming, I always start engines during.

How long it took you to transition from 330/340 series to the 350 from Ground school, sim time, and final check ride qual?
6 weeks in Toulouse including simulator, plus 2 flights.
