Centramatics on my bike, no balancing issues here! For theft concerns, when parking overnight at a hotel or whenever, put your bike on the center stand, rotate tires until the sensor is up under the fender and out of sight. Thanks, for posting.
One thing to consider: if your bike still has the OEM rubber valve stems installed, get them changed out to metal ones before putting this FOBO system on. The sensors do not weigh all that much, but they do have mass. At speed they will deflect the rubber stems, eventually causing them to fatigue, and eventually fail with a corresponding rapid deflation. I had an earlier DORAN system, years ago, and they were adamant about that - it is a safety issue! You did a nice job with this video.
I have just refitted these Fobo 2s to my latest bike and am very happy with them. A lot of thought has gone into their function, design and manufacture. And the same applies to your video, BG. Thanks!
always check your pressure when cold, every bike is different, recommended pressure are in your manual. Tire pressures are very important for safety and tire wear. I check mine before every ride. these things woek very well
Get some bolt in T-valves from Wingstuff. Next tire change have them installed and mount sensor on the top stem. Add air and check phone. Every time you remove the sensor it drains battery a tiny bit. Also always check any battery voltage even if new out of the package. Battery is rated at 3.0 volts but you can get batteries that show 3.45-3.55 volts. Last longer than one showing 3.0 volts as you might be needing to replace when they get to 2.5 or less....
Good Morning Bill, Happy New Year to you and your family also!! 2021 went by so fast. Good job checking your air pressure before each ride, wish I did :) Hope you have a great 2022.
Hi goflyfpv2798, That's a great question. I never tested this, but I'd guess it would take a few seconds. Basically, the time in between when the sensor looks at the pressure and updates the phone app. This is just a guess.
06' road glide... Front sensor ended up touching something. I installed both sensors with the bike on the ground, so I didn't notice the front sensor was hitting something. Just barely, but enough to snap the valve stem after 25 miles or so. Catastrophic tire fail. Luckily it was when I came off the off ramp. 5 mi before and it would have happened at over 100 mph That part is my irresponsibility, but sometimes we ride as we do. Especially if we catch up with someone else who wants to have some fun. The sensor rubbed enough to break the valve stem. Just something to pay close attention to
Oh i forgot to ask. I have my phone on a quadlock mount permanently when riding whilst running a digital gps speedo app Can the tpms be layered on top to show permanently?
Question do I have to use the stems that came with the fobo kit? Also do I have to use the lock nuts? Can’t I just screw the fobo on my stems without the nut? ……..thanks ahead of time ❤️Love your vids
Hi Toads_Ride, Thanks for the complement. No, you don't have to use the provided stems. The stems that come in the fobo kit are really nice quality. I installed the fobo sensors on my existing tire stems. I don't think you need to use the lock nuts. The lock nuts just help keep the sensors from vibrating off or someone just unthreading them to steal them... I put the lock nuts on mine, and everything worked out nice. thanks again.
@@ratchfordgeorgenot to mention they are utterly useless to the thief, since they are dedicated to ONLY work with the phone(s) they are paired to, and can NOT be used unless, and until they are actively “released” from the parent phone(s) via the internet app.
Hi Stovallogy, Great question. I've never used ear buds while riding so I'm not sure. I'd guess you would need to unconnect with the fobo sensors and then connect to your ear buds unless there's newer phones out there that can connect to multiple blue tooth devices.
Great information! Why does it show 2 different pressures when you open the app for front & back tire with a “seconds” or “minutes” running? Any idea? Which reading is correct? I check mine while riding and the pressure I put shows higher the hotter they get and then the reading “seconds ago or minutes ago shows 3-5 PSI DIFFERENT.. that is why I’m confused on why they show 2 different pressures. You follow me? I’m not the only one who questions it too.
Hi Babybugspaw70, Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. Can you give me a rough video time stamp to look at again and then I can reply better...

Hi Babybugspaw70, Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I can't look any longer because I sold the bike and uninstalled the app. My F6B was a GREAT bike, I just wanted to try another brand. If I remember right, the large middle pressure number is the actual real tire pressure. The time that's counting underneath that is how long it's been since the real pressure has updated. Hi Andrej, Great questions. I'm not sure how to fix the "checking ownership" issue. Here's their Customer Service # (305) 576-1982. They might be able to help. Q2: Long Alert means the phone will alert you for 30 seconds non-stop when the alarm is triggered. Q3: I'm not sure. If I had to guess, maybe it's a way to redirect your fobo info to other phones fobo app... The customer service number would know.
