If ya haven’t tried out Hot Shot, I’d recommend giving a shot, it’s similar to TDM, but with a good twist to it.

@@ichigokurosaki8661 Need to differentiate between SBMM and EOMM. You are right that SBMM forces you to play harder as you are matched with players of relative skill. But EOMM is real-time variable manipulation. You can't get better at a game that is altering data so that your win or loss is basically predetermined. Once you're aware of what is happening playing CoD feels gross.

The servers aren’t the issue, it’s the netcode. They’re currently working on fixing it right now. There’s so much to it though and it improves little at a time.

TTK is also a major problem for a lot of people, I cannot stand shooting first and dying first, or spraying a mf down hard and he just turns and one shots me while he has 1hp left. These are complaints from a lot of people I see at the moment, if these aren't addressed along with the sniper problem, this game is not going to be as successful as people are saying.
Let's not forget a big reason why anybody noticed this games release at all is because CoD has SBMM. If they remove SBMM and all the rigging, XDefiant will die within 24 hours.

Until activision comes out and says they’re removing EOMM and SBMM call will remain dead! That’s coming from someone playing OG MW all the way up to the current trash they’ve put out.
Hopefully they buff the shotguns and fix the netcode, other than that, it's way better than COD, even though it's quite sweaty.

Came across my first hacker/glitcher last night. The guy was floating around the map (his character had no animation) and every time you killed him, he dropped a huge amount of flashbangs that made so much noise my speakers popped every time!!!

This game DEFINITELY needs a TDM mode. The only time I hate playing this game is when my teammates are playing for kills and the enemy isn’t so we get stomped and 1-2 other people on my team (including me) are fucking above 2.5k OBJ. Either it’s a battle on OBJ or a (half assed) attempt at kills and it usually means my team gets wiped and nothing OBJ happens so we just lose by default.
I'd rather have Free For All. TDM is basically FFA with teams anyway.
They do it’s called hotshot well more or like kill confirm but basically the same thing and it is fun
I feel tou on that. Had a guy crapping on everyone that he had the highest kills and I was like but you have the lowest Objective score. So u haven't been wining anything. They keep playing for kills. Not to kill to help advance the objective. But to kill to get the most kills. Call of Duty mentality. Different game.

Side note about the gameplay in the background, you’re able to shoot through the yellow wall on your left hand side into the hard point at 1:56 into the video. Easy and great way to clear the point without having to run around the corner and get team shot.
Whipping out your pistol is a cheat code!! The amount of times I can literally just vanish from a bad situation and survive because I pull it out is crazy.

I've been loving sniping on xdefiant and hope it doesn't get nerfed too heavily, the speed is super fun on them, the tac 50 actually kills consistently and it still has enough counters in the time I've played. I haven't used the m44 enough but I know its definitely much weaker and more fair as a sniper so I can't understand the complaints when there's much more in the game that is also very strong like wallhacks with the splinter cell faction and fire bullets not needing to be in the game

They are not nerfng snipers. They said there is a bug with flinch in the game. They are going to fix it and then they will look at snipers. As of right now, flinch will sometimes work as intended and sometimes it won't. This is affecting all weapons.

It is so bad. Give them a hard flinch when getting shot and it will be less annoying. The only people defending against snipers, are snipers themselves because they want the game to be easy.

One thing I've noticed a LOT is that when people play like they did in CoD it REALLY shows. xDefiant really punishes the team that doesn't play the objective. But I love that every single match I play is completely different & whenever I get killed I'm not sitting there wondering if the guy is running cheats (maybe that's due to lack of killcams which I'm perfectly fine with).
Just finished playing this joint lol. Man definitely refreshing. I like the barebones like flow, yeah there’s abilities but it’s a solid game I can play without getting as pissed versus playing apex, cod and etc
The first 20 minutes I play I feel like throwing my controller through the TV.
But once my COD memory fades and I get the feel, this game is so much better.
I imagine a few people have played an hour, got smoked and gone back to COD.
I just started playing XDefiant 3 days ago & have had so much fun. Bought the battle pass last night. Did I do that on MWIII? Hell no it’s not worth it but for XDefiant? Hell yes & I can’t wait for more content as it gets updated

Only complaint I have is the lack of hit reg when hip firing. Other than that, It's been awhile since I enjoyed getting home from work and being able to unwind with casual gameplay. The game feels smooth, my ping has been under 20 on the reg, no lag, and I can play for a few hours straight.
Played a few rounds in Season 4. The entire time I was just so miserable. It was UNBELIEVABLEY sweaty and neck and neck each round. I didn’t enjoy a single second of it. I also dev errored twice and BLUE SCREENED. My entire PC crashed. That hasn’t happened in years for me. The entire experience was horrible.
Switched to Xdefiant and WOW what a difference. Immediately started having fun. Even the sweaty lobbies are fun in XD.
It’s sad what Cod has become
There is a learning curve to this game, I have also gotten better. I find myself doing better with one friend teamed up with me. The solo time I have, it's hard to win games

The M249 Is a beast of a weapon IRL...I lugged that thing around and it got me out of a jam during actual firefights with the insurgents for sure. Eventually, I swapped to the M240B Machine gun and the rest is history

Wow I remember Mark Rubin saying on twitter that he was developing a new FPS game with no SBMM/EOM. I knew it would be a great project since he was on the cod4 team but I didn't think it would be this good.
Usually cod player here.. but i literally havent booted up the game once this week. Just Xdefiant. This game is so fun and i hooe they dont change it. I really hope there will be a pro scene because ive had such incredible wins in these gane modes.
