I think your audience has a wide age span. I am 70,and I really appreciate your attitude. I would love to see the homes of former stars. When I venture out to visit a doctor, I see stars in the magazines, and I don't recognize any of them. The glamor of the old Hollywood was so special... But so are you. Thank you for taking us shut in's along for a little adventure. Hugs... Tricia
I'm 71 and enjoy your shows. Old Hollywood isn't talked about much anymore unless you find someone like you who will take the time to give it to us. The taco thing is sad but your info on Monroe & Harlow was great. I'm a big MM fan so I enjoyed seeing that house that she shared with Joe and the one I'd never seen of Johnny Hyde's. Thanks so much!
The real estate in LA is stunning. The Taco stand owner was in the wrong, firstly its public space and why get upset with free advertising. Great attitude to have, to restart your day if it's going south.
Actually it’s not. It’s a private business. So it’s their right to request people not film in their private business. However , that being said it’s also nice to ask permission. But the owner could have been a lot nicer about it , and should have some signs up. Because not everyone thinks of that. Some owners don’t care. But you still should ask. Most businesses have privacy expectations and don’t want to be filmed without permission. Some are lenient about it , but technically you’re supposed to ask permission. Privacy laws. And there also privacy laws in California about recording in a private residence or business without consent. It can lead to a litigious situation ultimately .
I LOVE these old houses, don't ever change them! All of the old trees and street lights, yes. Jean Harlow, just so very sad. Such a lovely young woman with so much talent. Thank you so much for the wonderful video. Yes please do more on these old houses! Silent movie stars up to the 1950's.. all are so intriguing.
As someone who worked late night drive thru at a fast food restaurant when I was a teenager, I must say with 100% certainty, if you are rude, ignorant or just a plain a-hole to the workers BEFORE your food is made, I guarantee something has been done to it! Don’t be a jerk and no problems!
this guy has the friendliest personality of anyone. a nice guy with a down to earth attitude. a natural grin molds itself to my face every time I watch these videos.
Jordan, Love your restart philosophy, I will remember that one and try it. Another great video. Sorry taco lady was so rude to someone who is so kind. What goes around comes around...
YOU did the right thing Jordan. YOU are ALWAYS polite. They missed the boat for free publicity and, I am sure, many viewers will stop patronizing this taco establishment. GOOD!
One of the things that interest me about these videos is how humble the homes of the stars were back in the day. I can understand when they were just starting out that they would share apartments and so forth just like people do today. But Joe Dimaggio and Marilyn in the 1950s living in that little place is just astonishing to me. I realize the neighborhood was probably different then and considered classier, but still, that's very humble for such huge stars. It's also interesting seeing that shot of Marilyn on the walkway to her other house - the one tree that's still there is so small then, and the other is gone.
Jordan, your videos take me away to a better place and time and I can forget the stresses and miseries that I face each day. Thank you so much for the smiles you are entertaining very informative and just refreshing. I'm sorry that your days are sometimes interrupted by rude unhappy people but I'm happy to see you don't let it keep you down. Love the snarky pup too. I've spent many days just catching up on your videos so stress free allows me to just relax and you're a great companion. Have a beautiful day.
You did the right thing Jordan. If it really pissed her off that much....then she should have dealt with it one on one with you only ......not broadcast her anger to other people. I'm sorry this happened to such a nice person such as you.
chrissy , I know that lady was as pissy as that broken toilet . Hahaha..!! 😂 He didn't deserve that bless his heart . He is such a nice person and he cheers me up when I'm having a bad day . I love his vlog's !! 💗
Bonnie Brown I was there for 33 years. LA and surrounding cities have changed from 10 or more years ago. There is a huge migration of people leaving the state. It's mad expensive to live there, for one; I'd still be there, if not for circumstances that required a change in environment.
Anonymous Girl , yeah I've heard that it was very expressive to live there . My son's friend and his parents are from there and he was telling me about that . That's why they moved here to Ga . , but I've always wanted to visit it someday .
Wow! The busted toilet at the end was a blonde bombshell thrown out of the window! LOL!!!! I bet that Shelley Winters told you so many interesting things. After seeing your videos of her home, I watched quite a few interviews with her and Debbie Reynolds. What a cool lady Shelley was. She treated you so nice. She really liked young guys!!! What a lady she was. Great videos Jordan. Thx.
The woman at the Taco place could have had an incredible amount of free publicity.---I hadn't realized Marilyn had lived so close to Jean Harlow's former home or that Marilyn had lived twice on the same street. A 1994 Architectural Digest was a special Hollywood at Home issue and one article was about Marilyn and the house she lived in at the time of her death. There's even a reference to Johnny Hyde whose house you featured here. Marilyn said, "Johnny inspired me to read good books, to enjoy good music, and he started me talking again. I'd figured early in life that if I didn't talk I wouldn't be blamed for anything". The same article says that when Marilyn lived in the home of her acting coach Natasha Lytess, "She brought with her some books, pictures and records, and her wardrobe, which consisted of a few sweaters and skirts. This constituted her entire list of possessions until shortly before her death; she cared little for things, owned no jewelry, and vigorously denied that diamonds could ever be a girl's best friend". I think if that if Marilyn had lived longer she might have become a minimalist.
I wouldn't mind if someone blogged at my store, put it on the word wide web I'd say its free advertising for my business. I don't think you were wrong for filming there, if you were on the sidewalk it's considered public space. It's not like you were stealing the recipes for her secret taco sauce!
Hey Jordan Great beginning with Jah's "hobbit hole" LOL No you were not in the wrong. The woman has a serious attitude problem Geez she could have been nice about it. No way to treat a customer! Great vlog! So much fun to see the beautiful homes of the stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood. The toilet bit just cracked me up!!! You're the best Jordan. Can't wait to come home everyday to watch one of your vlogs! Love ya!
Aww, I'm so sorry you were having a bad day on this vlog , but you did an awesome job find these houses and sharing these stories that I never knew about !! Jordan , you were not in the wrong for videoing that little restaurant . Some people can be so rediculios . I know the kind very well . They have to make a fuss about everything , so don't worry about people like her . If she only knew what a great guy you are !! For a minute I thought you were going to say , Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott lived in one of those houses , because they did look similar to some of the houses they have lived in before . Thank you Jordan for sharing this awesome vlog !!
Another great informative video on Hollywood’s bombshells. Jean Harlow was my Dad’s favorite movie star of old Hollywood. Thanks Jordan for your positive ways to living life. Love & hugs to you and Jah for 2022. ❤️🙏🏻🐕🦺🌈
Wow these old movie star tours really stir up some memories , I can just imagine the time when they lived in these homes in an era that seems SO long ago ...... Yes they were glamorous stars . I love the idea of some of these places being haunted .
You are such a great sport. The taco lady just lost a great opportunity. We ❤️ You J&J. I know this is from a long time ago, but your stretch riches far! I miss you in LA, but so happy you guys found your happy home
Jean Harlow didn't die in the house. There was a Doctor caring for her.. Her home there was full of medical people. Mama Jean put Christian Science aside for the baby. They sent her to Good Samaritan Hospital. she passed away in room 826. I'd love to know if that hospital is still there..and if room 826 is still there. Probably not. Love the video on the house. Thanks for sharing!
Cortney McKinney Good Samaritan Hospital is near downtown Los Angeles. Madonna's first kid, Lourdes was born there. Former Hollywood Madame, Heidi Fleiss' father (a doctor) practiced medicine at Good Samaritan.
Jordan😂😂😂😂. This is the second time I watched this. I love your attitude!!!! When I first started watching I never commented. Your definitely THE BEST!!!❤❤❤❤
I would have ALL THE MORE kept filming!! 😂 Then tell her to keep her dang tacos... and move on down the road! You are such a sweetheart & so beautifully personable!! Heck, you were totally giving her free advertising on your awesome popular channel! Most definitely her loss! 💕💕🐶
Hate to bring this up again 3 years later, but you certainly were not wrong. All she had to do was to ask you politely to not film. However, as many have said she should have been happy to have the free publicity. Curious if she is still the owners. Glad you changed your clothes and restarted the day. I have really enjoyed your videos during this pandemic. Thank you and Jah for making this time a little better.
its crazy that the lady acted like that! I agree, if it was a problem then she should've just asked you nicely not to do it instead of acting like a middle school kid. That was ridiculous!! A small sign takes 2 minutes to make!! I guess the free advertising from "No Reservations" was ok but not this....which is stupid!! Chin up Jordan! You're better than that. Stay awesome!!
Jean Harlow's mom may have talked her out of medical treatment, however, with no treatment available, no dyalisis and certainly no kidney transplants Jean ultimately died of kidney failure.
Hi Jordan, You are such a nice young man, and I so enjoy going places with you! I really like Jah too. So many places that I will never get go, I have seen through your camera. Thank you so much for sharing your life with me. You are one awesome and adventurous guy and I am so happy that I have found your channel. Take care, and take me with you! LOL
It's amazing how much thicker the tree next to the walkway is today! One tree is completely gone. Trees, more than anything, shows us how much time has gone by.
Dang. That would have been such good free advertising you were gonna do for them. Also....I would know you anywhere and would be like "Heyyyyy, it's Jordan the Lion!" I would have been also finding out.... "What would Jah like to eat, beef or chicken?"
Yes, please show us where not so famous old Hollywood people lived, worked etc. If I don't know them, I look them up and how FUN is that!!! Learning about them opens up a whole new world!
Great video, again! Great way to restart a bad day, I'm gonna try that some time, you're so awesome. Your videos actually help turn around my bad days, such great content and attitude. I love how you take us back in time.. 😎
I've eaten their tacos or burritos what ever it was. It's not all what people make it out to be. The best tacos and burritos I ever had was at Tito's Tacos in Culver City
Hi Jordan, I just discovered your vlog. We were getting cabin fever after being at home for two months. We went for a drive yesterday to find a few famous homes. I wish I could go back in time. Interestingly enough, I have had some weird coincidences with Marilyn. They never cease. I recently found out that my best friend lived in the same apartment building that Marilyn and Shelley had lived in on Holloway. It is wonderful to know that there are others who are interested in the old days. I was interested in the taco stand until you mentioned what happened. You'd think they would want the publicity!
I'm sorry your day got off to such a bad start! The only good thing I've found is that most crap days are followed by a wonderful day. Hope it worked that way for you!
I love that Marilyn & Joe's home is still exactly the same on the outside as it was when they lived there and the other one up the street too. The brick walkway is the same.
I went there twice. I had to see her house. She was so ill upstairs in the bedroom in front of the house. Huge fan of Harlow, Monroe. Lamour etc etc. Enjoying your videos,
If she didn't want anyone filming put a sign up don't be rude and in front of paying customers. That's away to loose customers. Loved the vlog. Lately I've been obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. You hear about her everywhere but hadn't seen any of her movies. So I've been watching when I get a chance.
Welcome to my day. I always argue my way around the day, especially when you bump into people who have a problem with everything. That Lady has just advertised her business online. And we got the truth. Sometimes people serving us make us think we're the problem. As in life.Take your good energy elsewhere where people deserve it. ;)
Your dog is 75% of the video....haha....I just am kidding, well.. Maybe not. Watched you both for a 2-3 years. Your channel is my favorite. Its upsetting when people are rude and your day is ruined. YOU were correct. Reset the day, good advice, I'll remember it.
Just came across your Vlog and I must say that you have an incredible knowledge base on classic Hollywood. There hasn't been one that I have disliked and I spent many days watching them and still have a lot to go. You possess one of the most interesting Vlogs that I've come across. Thank you.
Hey Jordan! Now this is the 2nd time I e viewed this "bombshell" piece partly bc I always seem to catch something my 2nd time around & bc I miss watching ur old Hollywood stories👍.. take care.
I always felt my dream of living in Southern California was way out of reach but you’re really tempting me to change my mind. It’s more beautiful then I ever imagined it could be.
Hey Jordan love watching your video's and I would have done the same thing you did ...I would have told her to keep her crap ..but I can see you are a Sweet Gentleman ..and You are a Awesome Guy and love listening to you tell your stories ..you Geaux wid cha bad self ..I'm from South Louisiana !!
100% right on the filming of the Taco place...Post a no filming sign if that's the case, otherwise film away and maybe give the store owner some positive vibes down the line...Great job!...You just had to mention the 'Late great' Arthur Lee, such a heavy!...7 & 7 IS...PLAY...it...LOUD!!!
But there are privacy laws in California about filming in not only the home without consent , but also a private business. So technically it’s good to ask permission , but yes , there should be signs to dissuade people.
Man, I wish I would know these old Hollywood Stars you mention, but I’m just not into old movies. I’ve have tried and tried to watch them, they just don’t do it for me.. but your videos are pretty great!
So glad you love Old Hollywood history like me. Do you have any interest in finding the sites where they filmed big silent movies like the site the 1925 Ben-Hur chariot race, etc. That would be fun to watch you do. Keep it up! Lots of fun.
That taco lady’s business is going to lose a lot of business because of her bad attitude & condescending ways. Very sad Jordan had that bad experience but glad he didn’t let it ruin his day.
The similarities between Jean Harlows death and Britney Murphy is kind of eerie! They both died of neglect. If they had gotten medical attention they would have lived. Britney was married to a con artist that was riding her coattails. Jean Harlows mom was married to a con artist. I just realized that parallel as you were talking.
Really Jordan?! Like...really?! You were NOT in the wring and never second your calm gut instinct when dealing with a rude person such as that burrito lady! You are a paying customer standing on a public sidewalk owned by the county! She was highly aggressive and dragged on with her rude comments about a paying customer who judt helped to feed her family and equally unjust child boy. You handled the situation perfectly with the uttmost respect. I would have gladly accepted a full refund. Some people need better training in communcation and humility towards humanity.
I just started watching your vlogs a relatively short time ago and I must say, you are a most respectful young man!! You NEVER step over the line! It is obvious you family raised you well, so feel free to diss that Taco woman--I have no doubt about anything you said!! I have to admit, you do crack me up with your comments, esp. about Jah!! "Here's your token pee shot" on one I just view!! Sorry this is so long, but praise of young people is so rare these days, I have a tendency to go overboard to make my point!! Please forgive and keep up the good work!!
I saw that episode too. He raved about the place and I have been wanting to check it out also. Too bad you had such a bad experience at the taco stand with you filming there in Atwater Village. I could see my old neighborhood palm trees in the background where I grew up at in the 60's. Used to walk to Atwater Village under the train underpass a lot when I had bottles to deposit at a little mom and pop store just down toward the railroad tracks. There used to be a people underpass I would take to get to the store from one side of street to the other. Too bad they filled it in. I would either walk next door to the toy store or down the street to a 5 and dime store with the money I got. $.03 for the small bottles and $.05 for the one quart bottles. I also met and saw Little Oscar, Jerry Maren of Wizard of OZ fame. I met him again at a Billy Barty Little People golf tournament in Irwindale in the mid 70's. He was the green guy singing The Lolli Pop Guild, and the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile at a grocery store called Beach's that is no longer there. My brother and I each got Weenie Whistles from him. That was early to mid 60's. Thanks for bringing back some great memories on this vlog.
There is a rule of thumb in the restaurant business if one customer gets bad service that customer tells 10 others! So that taco place lost way more! (I know that's not your intention) BTW you should be able to film there, if anything it's free advertisment! Love you channel 👍👍
You were def not in the wrong. Some people will cut off their nose to spite their face. She could have gotten a lot of business from your clog. Too bad for her. You are a fine young man with outstanding character and you are soooo respectful and compassionate. Love watching your channel. Pray for people like her.
Just saw the part in this video about your experience with that taco stand. Obviously somebody who doesn't get the concept of free advertising. You were TOTALLY in the right to think that way bud. Just as you said, if she truly didn't like it, quit being passive aggressive about it and just politely say you don't feel comfortable about people taking pics or videos of the place. Wow man...I would have felt the same way you did!
The lady probably didn't want you to video her dirty taco place and I was looking at the menu prices, those tacos are very expensive. $5.00 for a taco!!! It's cheaper here where I live. You should have gotten your money back instead.
I think your audience has a wide age span. I am 70,and I really appreciate your attitude. I would love to see the homes of former stars. Do you really want food from someone who was angry with you? You don't know what they could have done to the food.
Kai223noa I totally agree 💯
Scary, scary Truth!!!😳😳😳
Hopefully you threw it away

What did she think was gonna happen after being on no reservations? All she's going to do is ruin her business reputation because of her attitude..
Jordan,
Love your restart philosophy, I will remember that one and try it. Another great video. Sorry taco lady was so rude to someone who is so kind. What goes around comes around...
When I’m having a Shitty day I’m going to rewind go back to bed get up and put on new clothes!

People in LA are angry. It isn't a nice, friendly city and it's gotten worse. I miss LA, but not the people.
Anonymous Girl , really ? I didn't know that . I've never been there before so I don't know about things like that .
Bonnie Brown
I was there for 33 years. LA and surrounding cities have changed from 10 or more years ago. There is a huge migration of people leaving the state. It's mad expensive to live there, for one; I'd still be there, if not for circumstances that required a change in environment.

I went to the taco place on my last trip to LA (saw the Bordaine show too) and it was closed. Now I'm glad it was.

Debbie M.....exactly!
The woman got way too carried away at the Taco place...You are right. Thanks for what you do!
Seriously , in hollywierd don't film here isn't that kind of an oxymoron !
My thoughts exactly!!
I know! All people do is film here and make movies! 🙄
Hey Jordan Great beginning with Jah's "hobbit hole" LOL No you were not in the wrong. The woman has a serious attitude problem Geez she could have been nice about it. No way to treat a customer! Another great informative video on Hollywood’s bombshells. Jean Harlow was my Dad’s favorite movie star of old Hollywood. Thanks Jordan for your positive ways to living life. Love & hugs to you and Jah for 2022. ❤️🙏🏻🐕🦺🌈
Hard to believe that Jean Harlow was only in her 20's. I never knew that before. What a waste.
That taco place has been rude to many customers. Just check out their Yelp reviews.
Wow these old movie star tours really stir up some memories , I can just imagine the time when they lived in these homes in an era that seems SO long ago ...... Yes they were glamorous stars . I love the idea of some of these places being haunted .

Good Samaritan Hospital is near downtown Los Angeles. Madonna's first kid, Lourdes was born there. Former Hollywood Madame, Heidi Fleiss' father (a doctor) practiced medicine at Good Samaritan.
Thank you!
Also Jean did have medical care. She didn't die in that house.a She died a day after she was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Agreed
People are crazy bro. Your whole taco experience got my blood pressure up.
Jordan😂😂😂😂. This is the second time I watched this. I love your attitude!!!! When I first started watching I never commented. Your definitely THE BEST!!!❤❤❤❤
I would have ALL THE MORE kept filming!! 😂

You are such a sweetheart & so beautifully personable!!

Most definitely her loss! 💕💕🐶
The taco shop missed out on some free advertising. Silly goose.
Hate to bring this up again 3 years later, but you certainly were not wrong. All she had to do was to ask you politely to not film. Jordan, what a fantastic tour! I love your stories!! 👍💕👍
I'm with you all the way. Taco film would have given them positive publicity and now they dont get it.
Dang. That would have been such good free advertising you were gonna do for them.
Also....I would know you anywhere and would be like "Heyyyyy, it's Jordan the Lion!" I would have been also finding out.... "What would Jah like to eat, beef or chicken?"
Yes I care about all the old actresses and actors. I love the old Hollywood
She Probably Was Mad Because the Place is Not Really Clean & Scared For You Show How Horrible It Really Is!!!
Yes, please show us where not so famous old Hollywood people lived, worked etc. If I don't know them, I look them up and how FUN is that!!! Learning about them opens up a whole new world!
EXACTLY WHAT I DO!!!
I do too. Just fascinating and fun
Love your show. My sister used to live in Dana Point. I get to see southern California again. Thanks for showing Bela's home. James Haney
Great video, again! Great way to restart a bad day, I'm gonna try that some time, you're so awesome. Your videos actually help turn around my bad days, such great content and attitude. I love how you take us back in time.. 😎
Love it when you show the old houses and where stars of yesteryear lived
👍
Dear Jordan you sir are such a good guy you were in the right on the taco place
I love the shadows created by the sun dancing thru the trees
Wow, I love Harlow’s former house!! Beautiful and love the trees you can almost see the house
Thanks for the video. Love Marilyn and Jean Harlow. Thanks thanks thanks
I'm sorry your day got off to such a bad start! The only good thing I've found is that most crap days are followed by a wonderful day. Hope it worked that way for you!
No problem Jordan, you are a gentleman. That was ignorant of her, not you. I thought you handled it well. Sending you good vibes buddy.
You are not wrong. The customer is always right!!!
He is right but the customer is NOT always right
You always get a very bad apple
I always enjoy watching your entertaining videos, great job, thanks
I love that Marilyn & Joe's home is still exactly the same on the outside as it was when they lived there and the other one up the street too. The brick walkway is the same.
No Jordan you fine. The lady was very rude. Like you said she could have asked nicely and she put sumthin up.
As in life.Take your good energy elsewhere where people deserve it. ;)
You are such a sweet guy, I’m sorry you were treated like that. I really enjoy your videos!
She should have been happy for free internet publicity and a rave.
Paul Lynde lived right across the street at 508.
You were giving them free advertisement. Screw them.
Just came across your Vlog and I must say that you have an incredible knowledge base on classic Hollywood. There hasn't been one that I have disliked and I spent many days watching them and still have a lot to go. You possess one of the most interesting Vlogs that I've come across. Thank you.
Note to self to not eat there when I’m in LA. So rude
I would love to see the apt where Shelley and Marilyn lived! please do it! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
I love this video a lot! I love the homes of Marilyn Monroe and Jean Harlow. It is funny that the taco shop is closed.
I’ll never go to that taco place.
your in the right that lady didnt have to rude to you jordan
Hey Jordan love watching your video's and I would have done the same thing you did ...I would have told her to keep her crap ..but I can see you are a Sweet Gentleman ..and You are a Awesome Guy and love listening to you tell your stories ..you Geaux wid cha bad self ..I'm from South Louisiana !!
Thanks! I was definitely shocked she would complain, but she got some free advertisement either way..
Both my sister's dogs burrow into the blankets. Especially my sister's Chihuahua, Miss Peaches!
Man, I wish I would know these old Hollywood Stars you mention, but I’m just not into old movies. I’ve have tried and tried to watch them, they just don’t do it for me.. but your videos are pretty great!
No, it was not weird. Johnny Hyde was a good man, loved MM, he was married and did not live with her. But, they did have a relationship.
The Harlow house looks beautiful. It would be so rad to tour the grounds and interior. Also, good burritos are not hard to find.
THX FOR THE INFO ON THAT TACO SHOP-IM. NEVER GOING NOW😄
Would love to see Bette Davis homes and Leonard Nimoy.
So glad you love Old Hollywood history like me. Do you have any interest in finding the sites where they filmed big silent movies like the site the 1925 Ben-Hur chariot race, etc. That would be fun to watch you do. Keep it up! Lots of fun.
You weren't wrong Jordan! I would have walked away; without that food and bloged it like you did! I'll never go there! 🙄
I've never been back, and a lot of people have made the same comment you did, so now she gets the publicity whether she wanted it or not.
Good catch.
You're fine.
Don't sweat the small stuff. Taco woman must of had something to hide.
Keep your head up.
I feel like I’m with you when you go to these places! I love this channel❤️. Greetings from Illinois!
You was not wrong. That woman is really lucky someone with anger issues was not in your place. You handled it perfectly.
Stars moved a lot back then. Everybody’s house was huge. Yes Johnny Hyde, he was in love with her. I love to read about these old stars and watch TCM.
Thanks for the video. Harlow died at the hospital. She had kidney failure. Her mother wasn't to blame. Nothing could've saved her. 💔
If she got medical care sooner, she might have lived longer.
Y are people so rude they ty for filming as it brings in business u handled it like a gentleman 😂😂🇨🇦
Between the Bitchy Taco lady and the parking issue it pretty much sizes up L.A. in a nutshell!
There is a rule of thumb in the restaurant business if one customer gets bad service that customer tells 10 others! So that taco place lost way more! (I know that's not your intention) BTW you should be able to film there, if anything it's free advertisment! Love you channel 👍👍
Amazing...these houses. Imagine living there but I believe Jean died on June 7, 1937 in Good Samaritan hospital. And MM's agent was Johnny Hyde.
I love your vlogs really love your black velvet Elvis picture he was the best
Thank you
You were def not in the wrong. Some people will cut off their nose to spite their face. She could have gotten a lot of business from your clog. Too bad for her. You are a fine young man with outstanding character and you are soooo respectful and compassionate. Love watching your channel. Pray for people like her.
You are so correct about that lady. Love your vlogs ❤️
Thanks Jordan and Jaw.
