I enjoyed this vlog, Jordan. I'm old enough that I remember the Hollywood days of Hedda and Louella, but it's good to see that you're keeping them alive for the young people of today. Hollywood was a crazy place back then, too, it seemed. I also want to say that I enjoy the walks you take us on, just in case someone complains, I REALLY like seeing your days, and going to the Dollar stores and post office and just taking a walk down a Hollywood street, that I'll never be able to do myself. You are sooooo appreciated by people like me. Thank you.
I agree with you Dolly Wilson. I'll never get to some of the places that Jordon goes, I get see these places through his eyes. I learn some things I didn't know along the way. Keep up the good work Jordon. I love your vlogs and seeing Jah.
Hedda's office was on the floor above my family doctor when I was in high school in the early sixties. I saw her once in the elevator and once driving past the Ivar theatre in her Rolls Royce.
How was she like in person?
I had an uncle who was a hat designer who made a hat for Louella Parsons and was mentioned in her column. I remember Hedda Hopper in the 1960s when he appeared on an afternoon variety show to give her scoops with those dumb hats. She was in the movie SUNSET BOULEVARD in 1951 as herself.
What did he say about his interactions with them?
Looks like Hedda’s office was on the 7th floor of the Guaranty Building. There is a letter on ebay that’s on her stationery. She had offices 701-704.
I think I know Hedda from her being a guest on an episode of I Love Lucy. I am also a huge Perry Mason fan so I knew about her son, William. I didn't know that she had a mean streek and hurt a lot of careers with her pen. Thank you for showing us the building where she worked. That huge drill was pretty cool, good catch on that one, Jordan! Thanks again for an other great vlog! 🌼
Gee, Jordan, you sure have lots of loving friends. Your mail delivery is a testament to how cool and loving you are. Don't every change. Your mom and dad have done an awesome job !
Very interesting and entertaining! I am fascinated by HH’s funny dotty-aunt look and her malignancy.
I read a book about Hedda Hopper and that's what got me interested in Hearst Castle. She talks about being selected to receive an invitation to go there and how she enjoyed herself. When I took my tour of the castle I was thinking of Hedda staying in one of the villas outside. I know she had a short film career as an actress but I can spot her a mile away. She has very distinct features with sort of puppy dog eyes. Saw her not long ago in The Women (1939).
AWESOME WORK! Being in LA all my life, the only Hollywood I know is the one I see today. However, your vlogs such as this one really brings color and life to what used to be. I can now go to these places and appreciate the buildings and locations to their fullest! I used to drive by that building everyday, I had no idea it was Hedda's former office!
Hedda was in one of my favorite movies of all time, “The Women.” You hit it out of the park again. Hope you are finding your way out of your rut that you mentioned the other day.
The old architectural buildings are such a work of art from the ornate mailbox to the package drop, building directory and mural. Hedda Hopper was quite a character. Lucille Ball interviewed her once in a radio show she used to do interviews of stars in sponsored by Turner Classics with Ben M. It’s called “Let’s Talk to Lucy” on UA-cam. Great job Jordan. I also never get tired of seeing your daily errands and time with Jah in your vlogs. ❤️🙏🏻🌴🐕🦺 ⭐️Precious ⭐️
Hello Jordan! Hey could you do a vlog on Virginia Hill and Bugsy Seigel and show the home she lived where the murder took place? Thanks a million and have a great day!
This vlog was so good Jordan💙Hedda Hopper was such an interesting lady
She was on an episode of I love Lucy - that's how I've heard of her. Thanks for sharing.
When Hedda died, many stars felt a sigh of relief. She was a mean, despicable woman.
Some people do not have a conscience. It seems Hedda didn't.
Hedda worked 7 days a week just like you Jordan. Great Old Hollywood Volg.
I had no idea you were 36! Wow!! You look at least ten years to Unger. Good for you!! Paul Drake was such a hunk! What can you tell us about him?
15:02 I’m very surprised the Scientology goons didn’t come out and ask you to stop filming their building.
Thank you for giving me glimpses of my hometown of Hollywood, I live out here in the inland empire and miss HW so much! I am always thrilled to run across your videos. My doctors office was across the street from museum of death, irony right?!😂
Love old Hollywood stuff. What a treat thank you.
Every star was feared to death of her.
Jordan, you're the best. Your videos are great and so relaxing to watch. Thank you
Great history, I keep learning stuff. Paul Drake PI was her son. Gossip can never be a great career. Thumbs UP!!!
Beautiful Lobby in that building, enjoyed vlog, thanks.
Very interesting vlog! I always thought Hedda Hopper was named because of her outlandish hats! I learned something new again thanks to you! Wow she must have been mean for the stars to hate her so! What stories!
Hedda Hopper was also on a episode of the Beverly Hillbillies
The Godmother of TMZ.
Enjoyed this vlog as always, Jordan! Wow love those Images of America books you received! So cool! I'm going to get copies ! Love that stuff ,too! Thanks again Keep up the great work!!
I'm a huge I Love Lucy fan and I have a lot of original Lucy memorabilia. In one of the episodes where the gang goes to Hollywood for Ricky to film a movie, Hedda Hopper made a appearance. 😉
Great and informative as per usual Jordan. Great job! Love the research and detail you put into these vlogs!
Great Vlog Jordan, the LA architecture is amazing, the lobby and the mural is spectacular, I love how it shows the history of LA from orange farms to the movies.Foo Fighters were in my city this week.. Looked like another day in paradise the weather is amazing.
Ty Jordan for this great vlog hedda hopper love ur show stay safe stay healthy 😂🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Jordan, Need a had all the gossip on everyone in Hollywood! She would make and break a career! I'm surprised that her son wasn't in more than "Perry Mason" which he was fabulous! I always thought that he was handsome enough to be a leading man! Great Vlog!
Original lobby soooooo amazing love love ❤️
yet another great one Jordan. TY!
What a beautiful building.. and yes Jordan everyone has one foot a bit bigger than the other. I was told by an anatomy professor that if they were the same size it would be difficult for humans to balance
So pleased you got the book. It looks so interesting. Enjoy. 😁
Appreciate this video of the past. I grew up in Los Angeles and it is sad that so much of the past has been obliterated. Especially miss the trolley system that rolled over the entire Los Angeles county. Glad to see that the Los Angeles Union Station built in 1939 is still intact. They should make a movie about Hedda Hopper's life as she certainly led a colorful and interesting life.
Very interesting and informative. Love all the research you do. Knew very little about her. Thanks Jordan!
Jordan , I really enjoy all your friendly and down to Earth vlogs ! I hope the your agent and a director finds you a SUPER PART IN TV OR IN THE MOVIES ! You desire it !
Thank you. I have learned so much from you. You are so well prepared and researched.
Thank you for all these videos with interesting commentaries with it .
Great as usual Jordan
Watch every night as I go to bed
Real interesting Jordan. I love watching your videos, and keeping up to date on how your dog is getting on!!
Have you read the Linda Goodman books "Starsigns" and "Lovesigns"? The author included a lot of info in relation to Hollywood stars and LA residents of sixties and seventies. Like David Niven's books "Bring on the Empty Horses" and "The Moon's a Balloon" they provide lots of interesting titbits.
Another amazing educational and entertaining vlog. You never ever disappoint!
Incredible lobby from the 1920s. Thank u for posting.
I love the Foo and the Brandon Lee vlog, too. All of your videos are awesome and informative and thank you kindly for all of your hard work, my friend!
Hedda Hopper was a character for sure.
Great stuff buddy!!! I love your videos Jordan!!!!!!! I can't wait to get back out there!!!!!!!!!!
Great video! Thank you!
I know I'm a few years late but in my vehicle it was a plugged catalytic converter, that caused it to have sluggish acceleration. The muffler shop removed it, they say their useless.
Love your site. I’m from uk. Love old Hollywood stars. Thank for all your hard work. Xxx
Fantastic vlog. Thanks for the info on Hedda Hopper
Your content is still amazing to this day, but I miss the days you were in LA. Would you ever move back? You and your sweet dog in your LA adventures always made my heart smile
just watched the Hudini vlog, that property is incredible.
Jordan, I had a problem with my fuel filter when I owned a Toyota truck. Water collected inside the filter which made the truck conk-out. Small filter with a clamp connection on each end. Easy to fix without mechanic fee. Good luck.
So easy going and informative! Thanks..enjoy the info.. I will not be going out that way anytime soon!
I sure do enjoy your work my friend.
Thanks brother.
Have you ever visited where Gable was born in Cadiz Ohio ?
Lovely stuff Jordan
Your usual great story/vlog......I love it when you walk along Hollywood Blvd. and capture life as it is happening......one day perhaps a vlog of set up/actual event/tear down of a Hollywood Star Dedication ceremony.
Very interesting vlog. Thank you Jordan.
Hedda is buried by my grandparents in Altoona, Pennsylvania. I was there the other day to take a walk with my daughter & came across her grave. I had no idea she was even buried in my home town of Altoona
Fascinating. Were there flowers on the grave? Had it been tended?
Another fascinating story. Thanks!
Thank you Jordan. Sending kisses to Jah.
One of the newer stars on the Walk of Fame is Selena's star...Across from the Capitol Records Building.
Nice! Love the name story!

This was a great vlog Jordan
Love your blogs Jordan.
"...a guy that sounded just like J-Rock" I swear, Jordan, you slay me 🤣
I'm missing LA/ Hollywood so damn much. You keep my hopes high that it's all there waiting for me once this dangquarantinee thing is in the past. I love your V-log and I hope to one day get out there and take a walk with you and Jah . Old Hollywood is my bliss and these vids are always so much fun!
Great vlog as usual. I'm planning on seeing the museum of death when I hit LA in March.
The book about locations looks interesting

I remember seeing Hedda Hopper on the "I Love Lucy" show.
Very nice and interesting video :) Hi Jah :)
Hedda! What a lady! Your camera lens rocks, btw. Awesome picture.
WOW!!! Hedda Hopper and all her crazy hats. I consider myself a hat lady and only wish I could have as many unique hats as she did.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite vlogs. I'm a big theater fan. Just saw that the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago will be doing Hedda! A Musical Conversation. Will be alternating with The Garbo - the Musical. Only wish It would come down to San Antonio.
Good, video! & i've seen all of Fued.
After following you, I think I will go to Barnes and Nobel and get them. If you have any other books please let me know. Thank you. ❤😊
Hots off, another great video.
Wasn’t Hedda Hopper in “Sunset Blvd?” She played herself!
No one is going to say anything about a banana driving down the street at 6:40 ?
What, you’ve never seen a banana drive down your street before?
spread the word we need to get him to 10,000 Plus !!!
Ann lander's and her sister/ twin came after I've heard of Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons, but I grew up with dear Abby!
She was born & is buried in my hometown of Altoona PA. As was Janet (Lafferty) Blair ( Blair being the county she lived in)
Mary
interesting woman, lots of great arty stuff in your city. Tyvm Jordan
Your poor Toyota. Most likely an oxygen sensor. It's on the firewall. When you go uphill the sludge in it moves and blocks the vacuum hose. Same with gas filter. Buy one of those diagnostic tools that plugs into your dash and see what it says.
Awesome vlog enjoying😊I drink the same thing every other day it's very good for us
Enjoyed the video. I like see Jah 😍 cutie! I'm catch-up on your videos! Seen changes in Jah he's adorable! 🌟
