Amen! The Lord waited patiently and lovingly for me until I was in my 40s. I still can't believe I'm alive to tell about what my sweet Lord Jesus did for me. He rescued me from the darkest pit of drug addiction and homelessness. He never gave up on me. I'm now 60 and 14 years clean, because Jesus delivered me. I'll forever be grateful and long to see my Savior face to face.
My mom was a staunch Polish catholic woman who believed that good works could save her. It wasn’t until she came to the end of her life when all her pride was gone that she surrendered her heart to Jesus. She was 95! There is hope for anyone!!!
My Mom and her parents were Roman Catholics, very devoted. Upon marrying Dad, about seven years later, she accepted Jesus as her Savior. Dad was overjoyed, for he was praying for her to join him. They both were an inspiration to many, bringing about a dozen or so to follow Jesus.
Just took 12 people to see this beautiful film, not a dry eye in the theater, my friends wept and gave there life to Christ right in the parking lot...Glory to God
We had a very similar experience with our mothers. My mom was divorced so many times. She lied about my father for my entire life; and through ancestryDNA, I discovered who he was; but never told her. He passed in 2012, so we never met him. She never developed a life with Christ in it. My stepfather never bothered to even inform us when she died. He passed less than a month after her, and it was then we found out the date of her passing, my birthday. They are both cremated and residing in her neighbor’s garage as my stepfather’s sister won’t give us her ashes. God has always reminded me that no matter who my father was here in Earth; I have a Heavenly Father that has never broken his promise to me.
I'm sorry you have had to go thru this. Mostly bc the devil has use these people😢 to lay a lot of hurt on your heart, to be able to forgive. 🙏🏼 God Bless you and I'll be Praying with God's Strength you will be able to do it. In Jesus Holy Mighty Merciful Name Amen

Calvary Chapel is such a wonderful story. I came to Christ through your ministry and am extremely grateful for that. Greg, I was so touched by your thoughts on your beautiful mom. I’m 73 now retired fireman and I’ve seen a lot and seen things like this close to me. I read the old testament constantly and have learned our God is or shows more mercy than we will ever know, he is an understanding God he made your mom. And he made you. You will rejoice with her in heaven and your grandparents. These messages from you are so honest and so unique we love them.

My grandpa was saved in a nursing home when he was in his 80s, he was deaf and laying in a bed all day. God sent an evangelist to him. Never too late. God’s arm never too short to save.

Or so it seemed until DNA revealed 64 years later that she conceived me with a lover who never found out until last year! I’m thrilled to be getting to know my biological father and I am happy that my life is a testimony of faith. The Lord has a plan and I am part of it.❤
Pastor crage My mom was an alcoholic. When I was 9 years old, my mom divorced my dad ..it was a 5 year battle in court . I had to testify in court agents my mom and dad . It was devastating. It missed me up in school. Held back and put into an EH class . The school s today don't do that any longer. I got saved at Calvery Chapeal Costa Mesa in high school in 77. Saturday night concert love song .. It must have been 2 years after the tent . My mom and dad finally got saved, and My dad asked Jesus into his life 1 month before he passed away in 08. My Mom meet 2 lady s went to Bible study got saved 6 years before she passed away. God is awesome. The Jesus Revaluation movie brought back a lot of good memories. I was a surfer then and still am . Hi Pastor Greg. Our mother accepted Christ one month before she passed also. She had just come out of her fourth alcohol program. Our mother was raised in the Lutheran Church, and so were her six kids. But we all have come to Christ. My oldest brother who accepted Christ first at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, helped lead us all to Christ. As a matter of fact, people mistake him for Pastor Greg. Even when he attends Harvest, people come up to him and call him Greg. My older brother was also born in 52. We are from Fullerton, Ca. God bless.

I was an atheist for 44 years and married to my Christian wife for 25 years before i became saved. I truly believe the Lord worked on me through my wife for those 25 years. He had a plan and i had a dream one night and woke up and just knew that God loved me and He had a plan for me. 5 years later and i am now a Chaplain and pastoral carer working with homeless and destitute and bringing others to Christs embrace. Right On! Never give up on your loved ones to come to salvation. My grandfather came to Christ a month before he died. (Age 87) My grand mother (age 90) came to Christ about seven hours before she passed on. For both of them daily pray over several years played a significant role in them coming to salvation, Never Give Up on your loved ones!

I wasn’t a hippie but I did put my faith in Jesus during this great awakening time in 1973. My mother walked the aisle too and we both prayed the sinners prayer at the same time. She’s in heaven and I’m looking forward to seeing her again.

He once owned the first gas station on sunset and vine and threw away fortunes chasing the same things so many do. Yet, the faithfulness of Jesus is inexpressible. Never give up on your loved ones to come to salvation. My grandfather came to Christ a month before he died. (Age 87) My grand mother (age 90) came to Christ about seven hours before she passed on. For both of them daily pray over several years played a significant role in them coming to salvation, Never Give Up on your loved ones!

Just moved here from Israel at a 14 year old little girl didn’t know Christ till I moved to San Jose California. I just saw the movie today and yes, I was wondering about your mother’s spiritual condition. I’m very glad to hear she became a believer. Great movie! I wasn’t a hippie but I did put my faith in Jesus during this great awakening time in 1973. My mother walked the aisle too and we both prayed the sinners prayer at the same time. She’s in heaven and I’m looking forward to seeing her again.

I guess you could call me a "fair-weather," Christian. I stray and always, return. And I will always owe this fact to my father. I'm still learning but I've never, lost my faith. It is the sole reason that I am still here, today. I can't wait to see this new movie.

Amen pastor Greg. My grandfather, a bitter, hateful man, accepted Jesus on his deathbed holding my hand. He once owned the first gas station on sunset and vine and threw away fortunes chasing the same things so many do. Yet, the faithfulness of Jesus is inexpressible. As long as you can draw breath, it is never too late to ask Jesus to save you.

God is merciful and good! I’m sure your grandparents never stopped praying for your mom’s salvation. This is a testimony to all of us who have unsaved loved ones, never give up, keep praying, asking the Holy Spirit to lead them to salvation.
