Amen! The Lord waited patiently and lovingly for me until I was in my 40s. I still can't believe I'm alive to tell about what my sweet Lord Jesus did for me. He rescued me from the darkest pit of drug addiction and homelessness. He never gave up on me. I'm now 60 and 14 years clean, because Jesus delivered me. I'll forever be grateful and long to see my Savior face to face.
Amen, God had patience with this sinner tell I was in my late 50s all thanks two God he broke some heavy chains that I couldn’t. Thank you lord Jesus

My mom was a staunch Polish catholic woman who believed that good works could save her. It wasn’t until she came to the end of her life when all her pride was gone that she surrendered her heart to Jesus. She was 95! There is hope for anyone!!!
Same for my 100 yr old Mom. Germania Catholic who gave it up to Jesus just before her passing.
Doesn’t the Catholic Church teach good works as the way to Salvation?

My Mom and her parents were Roman Catholics, very devoted. Upon marrying Dad, about seven years later, she accepted Jesus as her Savior. Dad was overjoyed, for he was praying for her to join him. They both were an inspiration to many, bringing about a dozen or so to follow Jesus.
Just took 12 people to see this beautiful film, not a dry eye in the theater, my friends wept and gave there life to Christ right in the parking lot...Glory to God

We had a very similar experience with our mothers. My mom was divorced so many times. She lied about my father for my entire life; and through ancestryDNA, I discovered who he was; but never told her. He passed in 2012, so we never met him. She never developed a life with Christ in it. My stepfather never bothered to even inform us when she died. He passed less than a month after her, and it was then we found out the date of her passing, my birthday. They are both cremated and residing in her neighbor’s garage as my stepfather’s sister won’t give us her ashes. God has always reminded me that no matter who my father was here in Earth; I have a Heavenly Father that has never broken his promise to me.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble that you went through, but I am glad to hear about your love for The Father.
I'm sorry you have had to go thru this. Mostly bc the devil has use these people😢 to lay a lot of hurt on your heart, to be able to forgive. 🙏🏼

isn't just what you do but what you don't do. Not just what you did but how you did it. Not just what you said but how you said it. Love is so simple yet the simple make it so hard. Love Is full of knowledge yet even the smart don't get it. Love doesn't cost a fortune yet fortunes are spent trying to gain it. Love does demand of you yet you are not willing to sacrifice for it. Those who only seek what love can give and do for them, do nothing for love and others and in such selfish pursuit, in turn rob themselves of love's best gift. Make this year the year you seek to sow love and not just reap it. Be love and not just think it. Do love and not just say it. Talk love and just don't fake it. Seek love and just don't chase it. Embrace it but don't enslave it, share it but don't dare boast in it. Enjoy it but don't abuse it. Free it and watch it come back. Invest in it and watch it pay back. Wash your life in it, light your darkness with it, eat your food with it conduct your business with it and above all else Serve God in it. For whatever love is and is not, it's all of, for and From Him. He is LOVE! "

Amen to that! We serve a God who can watch Us turn from him and still accept you back despite our wrong doings. I thank God that he found us worthy of salvation through his Son Jesus Christ, That's powerful!

Just took my family to see Jesus Rev. I was saved at one of your alter calls on a Wednesday night and baptized at Pirates Cove. I saw Chuck at Costa Mesa a little before he went to Heaven. Thank you for listening to the Lord or who knows if I would have. This took me back 25 years in time. May Jesus always bless your home.
I just saw the movie for the second time tonight and we asked this very question at the end of the movie. Praise God that the Holy Spirit moved in her heart and she turned back to Jesus!!!
Wow, Greg Laurie is so valuable to the body of Christ and he came into this world under difficult circumstances, I thank you God for his life.
Amen ‼️🙌 Just what I needed to hear on this day as I have a 88yr old father with stage 4 prostate cancer and I'm praying to our Lord Jesus Christ to touch his heart and allow him to receive him as his Lord and savior. I'm 52 yrs myself and I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior January 2020 🙌 just in time for his coming is soon ‼️🙌

My grandpa was saved in a nursing home when he was in his 80s, he was deaf and laying in a bed all day. God sent an evangelist to him. Never too late. God’s arm never too short to save.
I just saw the film and became so interested in all of the main "characters," especially you. It gives me great joy to see you as a grown man, so happy and successful in your work. Thank you, too, for telling us what happened to your dear Mom. I'm sure she loved you very much and you loved her too.

My birth mother was married nine times with children by her first and fourth husbands. Or so it seemed until DNA revealed 64 years later that she conceived me with a lover who never found out until last year! I’m thrilled to be getting to know my biological father and I am happy that my life is a testimony of faith. The Lord has a plan and I am part of it.❤

I just saw the movie today and yes, I was wondering about your mother’s spiritual condition. I’m very glad to hear she became a believer. Great movie! I wasn’t a hippie but I did put my faith in Jesus during this great awakening time in 1973. My mother walked the aisle too and we both prayed the sinners prayer at the same time. She’s in heaven and I’m looking forward to seeing her again.

Never give up on your loved ones to come to salvation. My grandfather came to Christ a month before he died. (Age 87) My grand mother (age 90) came to Christ about seven hours before she passed on. For both of them daily pray over several years played a significant role in them coming to salvation, Never Give Up on your loved ones!
We so enjoyed Jesus Revolution..I wondered if u brought your MOM to christ...I would love to see a continuation of your story! Your marriage and kids and the rest of your Mom's life would be another great movie!

I'm so happy your mom did return to our Father. I'm praying my sister will also before it's too late. She was a "hippie" & continued searching for answers in different religions. She hasn't found the answer she seeks & doesn't believe the answer is in Jesus despite the many times he's answered MY prayers that has saved HER son's life. Please pray for the scales to fall from her eyes. Thank you & God bless you for getting your story & Pastor Chuck Smith's out that has blessed millions. See you one day on the eternal side.

Just moved here from Israel at a 14 year old little girl didn’t know Christ till I moved to San Jose California. God is merciful and good! I’m sure your grandparents never stopped praying for your mom’s salvation. This is a testimony to all of us who have unsaved loved ones, never give up, keep praying, asking the Holy Spirit to lead them to salvation.
Today we watched the Jesus Revolution movie and we both loved it. I especially loved your baptism scene and teared up during it. God Is Good!!! Greg, thanks for sharing your life’s testimony with us.

Greg, I was so touched by your thoughts on your beautiful mom. I’m 73 now retired fireman and I’ve seen a lot and seen things like this close to me. I read the old testament constantly and have learned our God is or shows more mercy than we will ever know, he is an understanding God he made your mom. And he made you. You will rejoice with her in heaven and your grandparents. These messages from you are so honest and so unique we love them.

My mom was an alcoholic. When I was 9 years old, my mom divorced my dad ..it was a 5 year battle in court .
I had to testify in court agents my mom and dad . It was devastating. It missed me up in school. Held back and put into an EH class . The school s today don't do that any longer.
I got saved at Calvery Chapeal Costa Mesa in high school in 77. Saturday night concert love song ..
It must have been 2 years after the tent .
My mom and dad finally got saved, and
My dad asked Jesus into his life 1 month before he passed away in 08.
My Mom meet 2 lady s went to Bible study got saved 6 years before she passed away.
God is awesome.
The Jesus Revaluation movie brought back a lot of good memories. I was a surfer then and still am .

The movie was exceptional! Well made. Funny, not boring at all and had a great story line. Parts of it made me cry too. I saw it 3 times with different people and bought tickets for my neighbor. They made it very easy. I just emailed them to her 👍🏻 There’s a really great song that plays in the closing credits called Living Water. I read the artist composed it just for this movie. I found it on Apple Music and taught it to my Bible study kids this week. They love it!

Pastor Greg I saw the movie. It's very well done, and was amazed at kelsey Grammer in it. What also got me is how some of your story, Pastor Smiths journey, the rhythm of the times in the 60's, Lonnies story and the Jesus Revolution got seamlessly woven together in this movie. I know much of what your childhood was like from you and your book about Billy Graham. There was one scene in the movie that moved me to tears. Anyway, it's a good movie and I thank you for making movies about our Lord.
God is good, and his mercy endures forever! Honestly, I think you were the miracle in this story! God gave you a hope and a future.
Greg, I am glad your Mom did whatever she had to in order to make the Son you are. We needed your dedication and your spirit in order for you to do what you have done in order to help us find our way to a sincere heartfelt dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ. I heard you one day on youtube, I thought, “Wow. Weird. How did such a dedicated servant of the Lord come out of California? This guy is the real thing”, I continued to listen to your teach from youtube and while I always knew the Lord, I struggled. I had a lot of trouble with sincerity, I really didn’t know what that looked like so I didn’t know how to do it. You, Brother, helped me understand how to do that. I appreciate you, and my hat tips as I bow to your Mother. I understand her and I know her walk too. I am glad she left here her Son, as he has taught me a thing or two about a firm Male Dedication to the Lord. It is good to be here and I am grateful that you helped me learn where “here” is.
