Why would they reduce his bond AND give him 10 more days to pay it, if he has $500m in cash? It should have been due YESTERDAY. He SAYS he has the money NOW, so make him pay it NOW.
No big deal. The appeals court is going to reduce the penalty anyway, down to $100 MM or so. (I guess.)
