I’m riding a 2020 street triple RS after passing my test same as yours but the matte black. Took a 2 week direct access passed and was at the dealership same day. Just do what makes you happy so fair play to your mates there obviously confident enough to go for it😎
@@BikesofRye I’m 45 so I’ve nearly calmed down and I’m now sensible😏I’m loving the bike and watching your content on here as well as others made me choose the triumph over the 890r duke.
Hey body. I am Latvian guy living in UK for 11 years, I really enjoy your videos and I also bought a Triple RS 2018. My bike is a bit older, but I love it to bits. Your videos helped me to make this decision. Thank you body, I wish you great summer with plenty of sunny days and safe road.
oh wow thanks for the feedback - it is great to hear you are loving the bike and you are the reason why I produce my content. Ride safe yourself cheers
Good video mate. Just passed my test and bought a 600rr too 😂 I rode some motor cross when I was younger and find the Honda fine to ride as a beginner as long as you keep it lower down in the Revs. My test got pushed back loads due to covid so only managed 3 days riding so far and waiting over winter is going to kill me 😂 love this kind of ride out video this is the thing I am most excited about getting out with my mates first thing in the morning and going for a breakfast somewhere 👍🏻
I own a 765RS. I’ve been waiting for Pidcock Triumph. to get in touch with me ref rs1200.. it maybe the demand for a test ride as surpassed the dealers demo stock. But I’ve also booked a test ride on a Suzuki hayabusa so if they hang about to long the may miss the boat.
I love your videos, getting my 765 RS this Friday :) May I suggest you to consider getting yourself one of the latest gopros? Have a great day man Cheers from France
Nice which year you going for? Also using hero8 and shooting in 2.7k - make sure your settings in youtube playback in high quality... but saying that I do plan on getting hero9 soon. Thanks for your support always love to see people around the world watching
Nice ride, and how nice to see so many bikes crammed in a car (bike?) park. The sports 600's are way too fast for a first bike but you can't tell the guys, who'd listen? lol Waiting to collect my 2021 Street R this week after rehabilitation on a 300 Yamaha (perfect starter bike) I hope you are gonna feature you new leathers purchase. :>)
I lived about 45 mins from BoxHill and really enjoyed a sunday ride with my mates but what with buying house's having kids and a lot of them moving to other parts of the uk and having to stop riding due to ill heath all i do is watch your channel and Teapots and i think i am back on the road, so pleased i subscribed keep up your good work on your channel top stuff, stay safe mate
What amazing feedback thank you and sorry to hear about your ill health I hope you are keeping as well as possible. Do you anticipate ever riding again?
@@BikesofRye thank you for your kind comments are much appreciated , i do not know if i will ride again but you never know i still have 3 bikes in my garage gathering dust LOL,stay safe mate and enjoy the weather
Oh yeah buddy. I'm really looking forward to your opinion on the new speed triple 1200rs. Because these are my 2 motorcycle, which I am considering to buy Street RS and Speed 1200 RS. Your opinion will be priceless to me. Greetings!
I know this is an old video but I only passed my test in September as a 35 year old. I had a 50cc at 17 and a 125cc at 22. But I've now got a 2012 suzuki sfv650 and loving it. Although I need to upgrade to something with some TC and ABS😂
I passed in 2019 brought a Street triple 675r no abs model, had a few lockups and droppings of the bike, so swallowed my pride and swapped for a z650 which was better to get to grips with, I've just got rid of that and looking for a 2017 Street triple 765 because of your channel. Keep up the good vids.
Haaaaaa! Spotted my self at 8:17, the shaved head with my back turned & bag on my back next to my red 899 😂 Was just leaving, wanted to get home before it got too hot.
Once again mate, you're riding my roads. I can't say you influenced me with buying a Street though, I bought mine 9 years ago from that very dealer you rode past in Woburn. Super Sausage does quality grub doesn't it?
Great roads its a common route for me these days if I want to stick relatively local... I really rate the super sausage too will be returning many times this summer
Sup dude 👍🏻 i passed in 2011 and jumped straight onto a CBR 600RR myself with absolutely zero experience previously. I actually found it fine although tbf i probably wasn’t riding to quickly at the time i just found my feet and worked on homing my skills. Looks like you had a great day buddy keep up the great work mate you’ll be at 10k in no time 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi , thanks for reviews 👌 l have same motorcycle now , wich is phenomenal..do you now how to adjust gear shift lever up or down..? My is to high for me 🤔 thanks
I started on an R6. I wouldn’t recommend it either as a beginner bike. It has an aggressive riding position and it’s kinda dull in the normal revs and then you hit ludacris speed and it’s like a Millennium Falcon making a jump.
@@BikesofRye I would agree that when you get some skill under your belt it is fun. I was in California and the only twisty roads near me was HWY 1 in Monterey. The fear factor is amplified when you don’t know how to trail break and counter steer and you’re looking over a cliff going to fast into those turns. It’s hilarious to think about it now though!
Speed Triple - when picking my Trident up at Lings Essex, a guy just walked in, asked for a Test Ride of the ST, had his licence with him, and off he went. I would suggest you give them a call and book it out just in case, but it’s sat there ready to go.
First bike….if you got the money, go for what you want. Bikes have great brakes, tyres, handling, these days. If they become a cropper it will be their lack of skill and control, not the bike. Buying a “lesser” bike might result in buyer regret, and lose money unnecessarily.
The whole point of buying a lesser bike is to build on their skill... Bikes can have great brakes, tyres and handling. But if the rider is using the bike at 20% its capability it isn't going to be as fun for them to ride as it would if they were using the likes of an MT07 at 80% its capabilities
shame some members on the Street Triple Facebook Group are not so positive. I have seen their comments and they are disappointing. Triumph Cheltenham is having a refit. They have not called me either ref a test ride on the new speed despite buying 3 new bikes from them :(
I think the two new riders are old enough to be mature enough on the super sports. I wouldn't recommend one to a young rider the throttle on super sports are twitchy and they are fast
You convinced me to get a 765 rs too. Perfect for me, easy to commute with and a lot of fun Hooning on a Sunday 👌🏼
Nice one 😎

Just subbed to your channel. I carry a paper towel soaked in windex in a baggie for the bugs on my viser. Keep making the great videos

Start of video was the a605 services near Peterborough. If so I live about 5mins from there also have a triumph street 675r
Unfortunately it wasn't those services but I know the one you mean
Totally agree my mates doing his bike licence and is obsessed with getting a cbr600rr for first bike told he not too but will not listen 🙈
It's an ego thing 😅

Well done for passing your test! Yes Sunday mornings before anyone is on the road honestly the best
There was a beautiful six cylinder Honda CBX 1000 parked up and you walked straight past it 😂🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻🥴 Noooooo!
Apart from that Rye; all good 😁👍🏻
haha no honestly I spotted it actually a bit later on its the first one I have seen - I didn't get to hear it unfortunately
where is this cafe and what were those roads ?
great vid again.
Thanks - the supersausage in Potterspury just outside Milton Keynes. Route is one of my personal favourites through Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire

MT07 was my 1st big bike. Pretty good choice
That is the bike to have for sure just use it for a couple of years and then level up
Hi mate hope your well, do you do a regular bike ride if so, when is your next one and I can join you guys cheers
I do plan on trying to get some Street owners together in one place at some point

good to hear I know its an amazing bike!! - I am not actually sure how to adjust or if it is possible. Do you need adjustable rear sets maybe?
I started on an R6. I wouldn’t recommend it either as a beginner bike. It has an aggressive riding position and it’s kinda dull in the normal revs and then you hit ludacris speed and it’s like a Millennium Falcon making a jump.
The riding position is also a good point actually... but when you get good on them the riding position is wonderful on a fast bit of road haha

Started on a Honda Hornet 600, would probably go for an MT07 now if I was starting again. Want to try the new Speed 1200 too. Cheers 👍🏻
I think the MT07 is pretty much perfect for a beginner... enough power and the riding position is very relaxed
@2:27. A like for just that :)
haha thanks

You guys didn't do a blazing saddles reactment after baked beans? Lol
haha its a dangerous game... those plum tomatoes and mushrooms don't take too long to digest either
I started on a versys 650, was nice and grabby in the lows but not too fast that it would get away from you as you get used to it.
Another great example of a beginner bike and I bet you found you learnt enough to be confident when you then moved up to a more powerful bike

I’m having trouble reading my odometer on my ST 765 RS , just don’t seem to show anywhere after I start up the bike… you have the same problem?
I believe you can go into the settings and have it displayed some way or another... but yes my odometer only shows currently on start up
I ride a 2014 Triumph daytona 675. I'm really considering buying a Street Triple for my next bike to do road trips.
You fancy using one to go touring on?
Recommend to test ride the new MT09 SP first 😉🏁
@@BikesofRye Yeah I think so. Being more upright with the seating position would help on long rides

I think the two new riders are old enough to be mature enough on the super sports. I wouldn't recommend one to a young rider the throttle on super sports are twitchy and they are fast
