    Cheese and onion mustard pasty
    Ingredients
    500g shortcrust pastry
    25g cheddar cheese - grated
    25g Wensleydale - grated
    25g parmesan - grated
    1 white onion - sliced
    1 red onion - sliced
    50g butter
    1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
    1 tbsp dried basil
    1 egg to wash
    Method
    STEP 1
    Preheat the oven to 220c/200c fan oven/425f/gas mark7
    STEP 2
    Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions until soft and golden, allow to cool.
    STEP 3
    Combine the cooled onions with the cheese, mustard, and basil.
    STEP 4
    Roll the pastry and cut into 4-6 equal rectangles. divide the filling into rectangles
    across the length leaving a gap along the edges.
    STEP 5
    Brush the edges with egg wash and fold over in half like a triangle press together to make a good seal
    make a steam hole in the top.
    STEP 6
    Egg wash the tops of the pasty and place on a tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

    Love the videos !
    You should try making healthier baking/cooking videos. That way you can still enjoy the food without ruining the diet, and give me some ideas too !
