What is "OB"? (I don't know the shortened words for these beaches, rarely go to them). At Huntington Beach, the spray from the waves was going up to where you stand on the dock, huge!
@@extralock1045 Those waves are nothing, but kid's waves, NOTHING, to them, compared, to REAL waves, we surf, all the time, in Florida, there is NOTHING, but soyboy, cowardly, punks, in Commiefornia, as usual FAKE NEWS, from the outdated, Dinosaur media.
It sat there and let people take pictures of it for about an hour, then I went and stood next to it, and it tried to bite me! ☹ Oh well! Maybe next time!
What exactly do you mean? Are you asking for the video file? I might have that somewhere I don't know where though. I don't have the raw footage though.
@@Jakakakak294 if I'm not mistaken the raw footage is pretty much what is in the video. Because I turn the camera off between waves and stuff. I didn't record the whole time.
From what I have heard, it has. But at least in my life time, not that I know of. But I never really go to the beach, so don't know much history of it. What is your favorite southern California beach?
Not one surfer out closing out😮 I see nice shoulder s right s back 1980s surfer we n t out surfing waves in the winter Huntington beach California I seen waves bigger then that 20 foot semi glass
I edited them slightly to see the waves, without 20-30 seconds between. I originally didn't even plan on posting this. I made it for me more than anything. But it seems people enjoy it, so I'm happy! ("
Just used my phone to record it. Didn't like, bring a big special camera or something. To me, the phone does a good job, and it isn't even a special one. Just a Samsung A32.
It appears to be a very low tide and most of Huntington is a beach break. Wait until medium tide for some better shape. Additionally this is a west swell so the waves are coming in parallel to the beach. They are Def walled up in this video. Also notice it is very consistent so it would very difficult to paddle out. Timing is everything here.
I know literally nothing about ocean waves, besides these are big. I'm not sure what even makes a wave. Let alone what is good for surfing. I used to be a competitive swimmer and I know for a fact I don't want to go swimming in that. But some people probably will. Nobody was going surfing it looked like. Not sure what is needed for surfing but I guess it wasn't correct.
@@extralock1045 waves are full on mother nature. What makes the swells the shapes and the direction they come from is interesting. There is plenty of writings on the topic.
Why not film? It is a pretty awesome thing to watch. At least to me. I really go to the beach. Even though I'm only about half an hour from the beach I only go maybe once a year. And I never seen waves like this before. I was considering going to Ventura to see the waves but decided not to.
Hopefully OB's new pier will be elevated more so we can enjoy the view on huge conditions.

Scool surfing😮😊🙏
Maybe? ;o
We don't generally get waves like that here on the East Coast unless a hurricane is hitting.
if waves are too strong recently? and can we go to hb beach next year's summer? sounds good uh

I liked the bird too.

Letting those kids play down there is stupid.
Yup!
great parenting 0:53
Those aren't my kids. No clue who they belong to. Probably their parents where watching.
One wave and the parents will be watching their kids get swepted away.
Yup. Maybe they know how to swim great, hopefully.@@muffdiver4973
Didn't the pier get destroyed by big tides in the 80's?
From what I have heard, it has. But at least in my life time, not that I know of. But I never really go to the beach, so don't know much history of it.

My old stomping grounds in the 80's.

Why edit the beautiful waves?
There's no point in filming them. 🙄

I thought those where awesome! But I don't go to the beach much. Where do you recommend?

You can’t surf it?
Of coarse I could, the point is, just down the road the angle if the dangle is better kook.
