God Bless Everyone on the Fire Department who are helping. I hope everyone is taking their cats and dogs or other pets with them as they evacuate. What a nightmare with these winds! Lots of prayers!
Just to give everyone an idea of why it's so bad: The Fire is being pushed by winds from the Low Pressure system that will eventually dump snow on Texas. With the wind being so high and it being a dry wind, it allow fire embers to blow alot further which is why at the beginning you saw the fire on the building. It's extremely difficult to control a wind driven fire because of which the speed it moves and the embers that get ahead of it setting spot fires. Look up Crown fire videos on UA-cam to see just how fast wind driven fires can move.
Another thing that is creating stronger, and more erratic, winds is all of those houses and landscaping burning. As the air heats up, it rises and is replaced with cooler air causing a constant convection cycle. If they didn’t build so many homes so close together, there wouldn’t be as much “fuel” for the fire. Also, with all of the trees and other vegetation so clots to the homes (and in between the homes), it just makes it easier for the blowing ambers to start addition fires. When you live in an area that is prone to wild fires, there are some things that you must do and not do. Houses should be built farther apart and stop building in areas that are heavily wooded. Trees and other vegetation shouldn’t be so close to the homes, yes it may look nice, but again you live in an area that is prone to wild fires. Plus everyone needs to maintain their lawns and only plant vegetation that is drought proof and doesn’t require a lot of water. The dryer the vegetation, the easier the fire spreads. And the government needs to allow forests and woodlands to be thinned out by selective logging, and be cleared of old brush. Bringing back controlled burns will also help. Much of these wild fires could have been avoided, or much less, if they simply used some common sense.

It is always a great thing to see someone be able to get their pets out of harm's way.
Please do not judge the pet owners who are unable to get their animals to safety.
When one is at work or away from the house when a fire evacuation is called, one is not permitted to go home to save their pets.
The horses and big animals. 😢
Please don’t judge these people. They’re having to make decisions they didn’t want to make
Wow praying 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾for all of our firefighters and police officers fighting this giant fire storm.
The officer helping the elderly at 16:40 thank you for your service.
Great coverage. Thank you
Tomorrow, I'm heading up there and see if i can help. I don't know if tey'll let me but it's worth trying. looks like they really need help out there
Best to stay out of the area. They have to protect lives first, then structures. So if you’re trapped, they’d have to put themselves in harm’s way to go save you.
@@clairemoniz4341 yeah, you're right. I just really want to help; thats why I want to join FEMA.
I'm still going there to catch footage and i'll upload it on my channel here.
@@clairemoniz4341.I lost my home and my family because of the American airstrikes in Yemen. I hope you feel the pain of losing your home.We wish peace for all😢
Absolute respect for those working to save what they can. But these is nothing more valuable than their lives.
I pray that God keeps all of you safe....what a terrible tragedy you're all going through right now. Prayers from Canada 🇨🇦
11:36 , how is the garage on fire from the inside from a fire out in the forest???
Probably a smart meter 🤣
Scary how fast the winds carry the fire through the houses. So sad hearing all the fire alarms going off in all the houses. Praying for all those affected by these fires.
Wow I've never been more proud of the courageous firefighters than I am now! To see them working together so quickly and with teamwork, it makes me so proud! Even running with buckets of water to put out a small fire that could grow so quickly! Sending thoughts and prayers to all of them trying their best to deal with such a huge catastrophe!
I'm a retired police officer from LAPD Los Angeles Police Department and I've seen firefighters working in person during my past career, and they are truly amazing 👏 🤩 👌 😊
Could these fires be deliberately caused? Perfect wind conditions perfect vegetation conditions it’s crazy these fires been happening years and years still there is also no means to put budget aside to work with specific departments and try to dig deeper into how can it be stopped or what needs to be done to prevent these disasters I understand also it could be natural too but damn history keeps repeating itself when it comes to Cali fires
In alot of places firefighters didn't have water in the hydrants! They were literally using people's pools to try and save what they could!
@ wow that’s crazy I think I saw a post about it not being approved by the city etc
Wind blew down some power lines...
Did The Reel Inn survive?
I feel so bad for you guys out there. 😢❤
brilliant coverage. well done.
God bless all first responders, hope all are safe. from Australia
Great job Alex! Included some really incredible footage.
Praying for your safety in such a dangerous area. 🙏😢
This reminds me of the devastating fires in South Australia a few years ago. Very difficult to watch and my heart goes out to everyone affected and the brave firefighters who are risking their lives 🙏❤
Also in Paradise California and Maui Lahaina check them out
Those were horrible. The eucalyptus trees explode as if they were filled with gasoline
