Well I can tell you for certain that those letters on the bags just indicate what kind of items are in the bag. A is for ambient which means non-perishable items. C is for chilled which are items that need to be refrigerated. Lastly F is for Frozen which obviously means items that need to go in a freezer. I know this because I am a prime now shopper

Ok, so to give you a little heads up (I was a whole foods shopper) - The words on the white tags (like trellis, sale, and scale, - these are randomly generated words lol) will tell you which bags to group together. There are also numbers on those white tags "1 out of 6" etc to let you know how many bags. The letters written on the bags are for the shoppers for storage when staging and coorespond to the shelving. A=Ambient, C=Chilled, F=Frozen. Shoppers will also mark the bags if there are fragile items or if they are heavy like bread, eggs, and things like that. I hope that helps!

Good looking out. I did wf flex here in Seattle and did good sometimes I just do lyft if I don’t want to find parking or too lazy to do all the carrying or walking ends up being about the same as far as in my area. Any thoughts anyone?

@@DENISBERMUDEZ14 No. They hire separate people to do the shopping. And they work for whole foods not Amazon flex.
Those letters means
A=Ambient
C=chilled
F=Freezer
The specific word on the bags they put is to group the bags for each drop, for example if the word is “House” and this word is in 5 bags, then those 5 bags belong to the same drop (Home (F), Home (A), Home (C) x 3

When I get whole foods delivery, I try to tip cash if I can. I leave it an envelope taped to the door.
Make sure they can see it at night, haha 😄.
Next time load the bags at the bottom of the carts and you can stack the bags in the carts so you won’t have 3 carts for 20 bags

Reminds me of my first day june 2020 I had no idea how to organize the bags... figured out it was the name on the bags. So helpful to organize them by the name on the bag now mind you the names mean nothing just random names the choose. I wish it was their last names. I kept them in order by those random names and it helped me a lot. Good luck girl I love your videos

THE "A" on the bag stands for ambient( room temp items like canned goods & cereal) "C" stands for chilled and "F" stands for freezer. The letters are really for the amazon workers picking the groceries to help us put the items in the right area once the bags are sealed .

One recommendation, think about getting dog collars and clipping them around the carts. You can then push them in one long succession through the store and to your car. Hope that helps!😊

Do you have a basic strategy you follow for picking up SHIPT orders? I know with Doordash, I always required an order more than $7.50, must be at least $1.25 per mile, and there were certain locations I just would not pick up from (almost always due to their lack of guest relations). What is the strategy you use in deciding whether to pick up an order from Shipt? You may have already covered this and I missed it but - do you only take pre-paid and promo orders? ALSO: How do you keep the grocery bags corralled and stable enough to keep them from falling over in your car?

I just ordered an amazon fresh delivery, I was curious how it works and impatient waiting for my food so I googled some videos about it. I didn't see anything in my order process of leaving a tip, now I feel bad, I always tip but I don't see anything about it??? Has this changed since last year?
You mentioned there are other gigs that pay more per hour. What are those other gigs?
when signing up very helpful to watch all tutorial videos provided in the app. Takes the stress out of just "showing up" and figuring it out. Also very helpful to get a grocery cart or utility cart to keep in ur car. Save a bunch on time from going back and forth for groceries.
You can't continue on with the application process unless you watch all videos.

How do you know what bags go together?
It gets easier. The first block is a learning experience. And yes, tips are the key to making money. I put my back seats down, put insulated bags in the front seat, then line up orders grouped by that nonsense word. All bags that say SCALE go to the same customer. Amazon Fresh or Prime is similar except all of your bags are already on a big cart for you. You don't have to go find them yourself. Good luck!

@@CardMan91 Amazon uses random words to group orders. All bags for the same order have the same word. In the video, one of her orders used the word scale. The word itself doesn't mean anything. Just match all the bags with the same word.
What are your average Amazon Flex earnings per hour?
@@tuxievous420 There is no answer to that question. It varies greatly. But you always know the minimum amount that you will make. And it's often near the top of the range when tips come in.
I started Amazon flex a couple months ago but there’s only warehouse deliveries every time on my side. I’m wondering if maybe I have complete a certain amount in order to get access to get on the Whole Foods side.
Naw it should be available if a Whole Foods is near. Or look into the Fresh
Probably be easier to organize them by first stop to last. First sets in the passing seat.
Is it worth it with gas prices and not knowing how many miles you're gonna drive? How can you calculate how much you have to drive?

Ok sorry so I watched you and someone else but what I saw of differences was that with you you went one trip and brought all ur orders but in the other persons video they brought one order went back to the store and got another in that same block I’m a bit confused so can I get all my orders in just one trip like you did or you have to go back and forward to the store ? I did Amazon flex for a while with packages (not Whole Foods) & it doesn’t tell you how far you’ll be going for that amount of money which is the only thing I see bad about it but…it’s NOT good with that at all 😂. I got $120 for a 4.5 hour block (I’ve had some that were 3-4 for around that and it was super close to each other) but this one was over an hour away for my first package & all of them were in that town. 😭

5 min !?!? Not even one second before it cancels it I drove 20-30 min to the Location still had five minutes when I arrived but the app kept acting up I kept trying to refresh it And the map just kept loading when I went inside to ask for help no help what so ever

No you have to follow it step by step just turn on your lyft and Uber destination back to Whole Foods most of the time someone will hop in

how do you apply to work for wholefoods delivery? I see the amazon flex application, but not amazon flex for wholefoods delivery. Thank you! Also have bots ever been a real problem?
When you do the app and all the background checks and ID check is done you take your picture then they ask you where you want to work options should pop up for Whole Foods and warehouses near you
Bluedriver Bluetooth scanner is much superior, the software has no paywall. Cost more upfront. But no monthly recurring cost. And much better support.

By the way I like the Whole Foods deliveries better than the warehouse because of the tips. Warehouse deliveries no tips. And the good thing is you still get paid if you don’t get orders at Whole Foods. There are pros and cons of course.

We only have whole food deliveries where I live. The warehouse ones sound like a pain in the butt
In the area I live in, If you do the “fresh” orders from the warehouse you get tips.
I like it better than delivering boxes(regular flex). Like you said also you get tips and I like that.

The amount of miles is definitely crazy and u don’t get to know where all the customers are until after it’s all assigned... if you can believe it the package blocks are actually worse with miles I’ve had delivery station blocks where the first drop off is 35 miles from the delivery station (for context pickup in Colorado Springs and all drop offs were in Pueblo) as you said it’s good as a backup but not a primary
I would be furious if I had to drive that far to drop off my first package. That doesn’t make any sense to me.
It only makes sense to me to do the ones that far away if you are doing a block at the station that actually delivers to your home. DSE7 in Sumner (34 miles away) deliveries to my home area. I am doing my first 3 hour block for $105.
I turn on my lyft and uber destination function and usually get someone to hop in on the way back to get paid for that long round trip

20 deliveries should've gotten at least $100 in tips. Never tried flex before...but I heard if you injure yourself during a delivery...you're on your own :/ Not worth the risk. Then there's the chance your route will be in bad neighborhoods depending where the warehouse is. Definitely a short term job...make some quick money and move on to something better.
It was 20 packages, not 20 deliveries. Multiple packages go to the same place. I think she said it was only 3 stops. $54 for 3 stops isn't bad. If she had more experience with it then she probably could have done everything in 60min-75min. Maybe even less depending on the orders.
I quit doing it after 2 times doing it. They took me thru a $13 toll twice then when I called support they told me that is my problem and that I should have figured out a way around it. But yet it doesn't give you any option to use a different navigation application. Or at least it didn't when I did it 2 years ago. Plus they didn't tell you which orders and what order so no possible way to organize them before taking off. Too much work for little pay
You need to use your own map like goggle to avoid the tolls

What do you do for health insurance and retirement ?
I am not a full time gig worker. However, I am fully self employed. I pay for my own health insurance (about $250 a month) and I am saving for retirement on my own. I personally don't feel like gig work is a viable long term plan. I think it's great to supplement income and/or help people work on other entrepreneurial endeavors.
