Unironically, we need Vidme or Vimeo to start getting better. Unless UA-cam has some competition, they will never improve. With UA-cam essentially having a monopoly on video sharing services, they are getting away with so much shit that no other company could. Competition drives innovation, and unless another site challenges UA-cam, they are just going to continue making terrible choices.
Vidme is making some good changes, and may just be what we need to dethrone the king. Or at the very least, cause the king to stop making stupid choices.
Shane Clark Vidme's not gonna get the edgy or super political types thanks to that lovely hate speech community rule. But they have an appreciable system in place for making supporting creators easy.
