I had been in Kentucky visiting family and the flight back to Florida was VIA Detroit first. In Detroit I get bumped up to first class. The guy I set next to had on an expensive suit, brief case and sun glasses, me being from Florida I thought nothing of the sunglasses. This guy starts up a conversation while we were still at the gate and we ended up talking to Atlanta. We walked through the airport, got on an escalator and he took off the sunglasses. I said you look just like Don Knotts and he smiled, I said oh you are Don Knotts. One of the nicest people I had ever flown with or had a conversation with.

No matter what this child Karen claims, this should have been kept private, her father Mr. Don Knott's was a wonderful comedian, a fantastic actor, a good man, friend and obviously took good care of his family. I will always see this man as the wonderful comedian that he was, and he will ALWAYS be missed. This should all have remained private. Shame on this " daughter", this was NOT something to be noted. I don't see anything his daughter wrote about, that shouldn't have been said or told about. Don knots was a wonderful actor and one of the best comedians, to ever grace the programs. There just wasn't anyone, ever, who could match him in acting.
I’m a 70yo Veteran and I grew up on Long Island NY and always enjoy Don Knotts. Every time I would watch the Andy Griffith show or any of his movies it would always make me laugh and smile. When he passed away I was very sad. Thank you for sharing this video with us.

I have a few of his movies 😀 I told my youngest son about Don Knotts and how funny he was. This is when my son was six yrs old. So, I bought two of his movies The Ghost and Mr. Chicken and The Incredible Mr. Limpet. I'm still adding more of his movies. Boy did he laugh so hard and so did my daughter. That brought joy to my heart because they enjoyed those movies just as much as I did. Mr. Knotts was such a beautiful little man. Thank you for all the great movies and tv shows and all the laughs. Why is it that when a celebrity's past is revealed it separates what we see on screen as opposed to reality? Does anyone think that because he was funny and famous he was always that way? Many entertainers had tough childhoods...Jackie Gleason to name one. These people were super special because they were vulnerable to the fringes of society. It reminds of a Frankie Valli song...RAGDOLL. These people scratch and clawed and some never made it to the top. Many did. Who can you say had a perfect life? I can think of no-one. Although his childhood was somewhat erratic in nature he had the fuel and courage to ride out the bumps in life to make it to the top. That us really what life is about. God gives us every day as a gift to succeed. What we do with that gift is up to us. Never give up.

People have called me Barney Fife from early teen age years,, I went to my sons house this Christmas and we took pictures and put apps on them and and in my pictures I looked like Don Knotts ,, I have watched Don Knotts since I was a child and not every thing but many things ,,I have had in common with him according to this video ,,, I Loved all his TV shows and Movies ,,,He was a very strong man and highly intelligent and talented .. I was in hospital ER this December ,,with my heart and they had TV the Dr said watch some TV ,, I said what all you got on there he said everything just search what you want ,, and laying in the ER with my heart scared ,,, I choose The Andy Griffith show out of all others shows I could think of ,, It was the show where the Goat eat the Dynamite ,,,heheh
