Just to confirm, does this read BMW specific DTCs? As appose to a generic error code? I would really appreciate the response
Followed your advice, got this device. It fails to connect to Wi-Fi while several other devices in the same area are working and showing strong Wi-Fi signal. Reviews on Amazon in many cases indicate the same problem. Wasted a lot of time trying to make it work, wouldn’t recommend this unit.
Will this tool work on recent models of BMW as some tools only cover the older models not for instance T series models?
It works on all models of bmw if you have a OBD2 port

So I have a 2011 X5M and somehow somebody poured water in the ECU compartment even though it’s sealed with a gasket and clips and I you know so I unhooked the battery and replace the ECU. Bmw said they would reprogram it for me now they’re saying they won’t they want me to pay over $3000 for a new ECU from them and then will program Which which total I need so I can reprogram it to this car. It’s a good it’s a good ECU I paid like $1500 so I really want to get something that I can program it so I can get my car to start

Isn't this the same as having the Schwaben by Foxwell BMW/Mini scanner that only comes for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce? Just asking because it seems to be able to work with the same special functions
On my f30 by backup camera won't work. Come to find out my rear electronics control module has an error. Will this tool be a sure shot to reset it the ecu?

Has anyone tried to clone a key? I have an 2006 325xi E90/N52 and know that there are MANY caveats when it comes to cloning keys. I want to know if this will allow for cloning an existing key to a new key in the vehicle.

As your the man for bmw e60’s.. do you know why most (that I have tried) obd tools etc have a failed connection to my cars ecm/ecu? As if it’s not there. They all work fine on other bmw cars. My car has no faults at all as I am aware of thanks. 🤞🏻

I’m no BMW doc. But I know the list for this is long. I think one of the most common causes of shakes is dynamic imbalance of the wheels. Hope this helps.

Neat scan tool. I hate it how many of the cheaper tools are not bidirectional.
I know this is why I really do like this scan tool a lot. For the price you literally cannot beat it seriously it does everything I find myself needing. Of course it ain’t going to program or change vins and all that for £100 but you have to expect that but for the price and what it can do I think it’s well worth it
