Hey guys! So this video showed how I colored my ombre extensions to match the ombre in my natural hair! A little disclaimer, I am NOT a hairdresser, and I do not claim to be a professional when it comes to coloring hair. This is just a video of how I colored my hair myself. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, or you have never colored your hair yourself, I definitely suggest that you not try this at home, and go to a salon! :)

Using your video to dye my ash blonde extensions to an ombré brown on top! You make it seem so easy!!
For anyone in the comment section, wondering what extensions she used...she used Luxury for Princess in 220 g, in the colour Honey Clouds, she then dyed the tops of them in a darker brown colour from Sallys, and blended them through with a comb, brush and a tooth brush, and covered the blond ends in Morrocon Oil conditioner so that the darker hair dye doesnt bleed onto the blonde bits

I am sorry, I just wanted to clarify, so you used the larger comb to brush the dye throughout your entire extension and even to the blonde tips? I saw you brushed it throughout to blend but I couldn't tell if you did it all the way to the end to do some gentle sweeps..Thanks!
I bought the LFP in 220" in a light brown and they won't take the dye or bleach. What should I do?

What about when you put them in, and wash your hair for the first time? It won’t bleed then and change the color??

Honestly, yes. Any Bellami extensions I have owned, weren't even close to the thickness of the LFP extensions

Great work! One quick question: did you tone the light colour of the original extensions? It looks less orange.. I also want to order extensions, I have black hair till my shoulder. I want the colour at bottom a light brown/blonde colour, but that matches to the colour black with an ombre. I feel like all the extensions of Luxury of princess have an orange tone. Since I never toned at home, I want to buy the perfect colour for ombre. What is your advice?
Funny you say that because after I had colored the tops of the extensions, the blonde at the bottom looked differently to me too, but I never touched the color at the bottom! They do look like a very ashy blonde, as opposed to how they looked more of a strawberry blonde, it's weird! I suggest buying extensions that already come with the color you want at the bottom because it's WAYYYY easier to just color the tops black to match your hair! :)
Soooo I have the keratin bonded ones in now (u tip I believe) can I dye them without removing them?
Yes I believe so! I would ask your stylist first tho just to be sure

I have one question. Why didn't you ordered the extensions in the shade chocolate delight? I also ordered the honey clouds and think about it to colored the roots Brown because there just to light for my natural short brown hair but i am scared to ruin the extensions so i think about to buy the chocolate delight 😕
I got the honey clouds because the color of those at the tips matched my real hair the best. And it was easier to just dye the tops darker to match me. I thought the chocolate delight looked too blonde at the ends for me. And honestly coloring them didn't damage them at all! They still felt soft after. Also I recently I colored the ends of my hair darker, so I'm going to be trying the caramel dreams next

anyone who does this put the conditioner on the bottom part of the extensions before u start applying the dye. otherwise alot of the blonde gets caught up on the dye and it's a nightmare. especially if you're doing a ponytail not clip ins!
