Back before Sept. 11th, 2001 on one rare day I was in the World Trade Center after using the subway. I had to go do jury duty at one of the court houses in Centre Street. As I was walking out of one of the towers I noticed for the first time that there was a mall. I told myself that I should check it out one day soon when I have time. But the one day soon that happened was Sept. 11th. So I never got to step foot in that mall. It always brings a sad feeling to my heart whenever I think about all the things I wanted to do someday at the original World Trade Center and never did and of course never will. Hopefully, I won't make that same mistake again with the new place there. :)
I also never went to the original trade center and I did regret it, but I still can't bring myself to go to the new building nor the surrounding area (though I work at the Supreme Court down at Centre Street) or this site.
This structure is amazing. It's very trippy feeling, as it appears small from the outside, but once you're inside, WOW! I have no idea how the architect managed to do such a thing.
Wow, the Westfield World Trade Center Mall, in New York City, is totally amazing. This entire video itself is also a whole lot of fun in the same way. Excellent!
Thanks for the sight and sound of Oculus, the mythical bird. It is a tribute to the architect community. Phoenix has truly risen from the death and destruction in that area. I liked the food court in Brookfield, so much choice. A thoroughly enjoyable quality video.
hello actionkid105 👋. I❤ BFPL. Spectacular canstruction👌 and the building Ocullus precious very, very nice video, thank you very much! ... great awakening of day Sunday!...😊😙✔🌈 have a good Sunday everybody!🎶🌻🍂
I like the escalators and elevators service it's convenient and makes the commute faster. The archectiture is amazing and beautiful too. Pertaining to the Oculus building by the World Trade Center.
I like your videos so much because even though I live in Brooklyn I work so much I never have time to just relax and enjoy a day "out in the town" Remember studios in the worst neighborhoods are going for 1500 now a days kids!
Wow that was a stunning walk and now I'm tired! Hahaha. Thank you for the impressive look inside! I walked by it my last visit when I paid my respect at the pools, this time I'm going in!
It loses money, and it was supported by toll fees to enter the shitty. The world trade centers were taxpayer funded boondoogles that always ran at a loss. That's how socialism ACTUALLY works.
I desperately want to go there someday! Maybe, when all this COVID stuff is over, and there are no more Vaccination requirements, no more proof of COVID Negative Tests. I hope this COVID stuff ends soon. Until then, please stay safe out there, people!
Thanks so much for this! The mall under the trade centers was underground, but the oculus adds a beautiful area with long (WTC type) windows. Plus, those ad boards near escalators that looked like the old towers were brilliant. Haven't been back since the Saturday after 9/11, didn't think I could take it, but this is worth celebrating.
Wow never believe i could ever earn on trading!! This has been an incredible experience from day one with @Ben_uptrade This wasn't my first time trading but honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I first joined. After much loss. God walked me through the entire process from start to finish, which was a HUGE plus! They made the entire process so easy and hassle-free! I’m very impressed! Go to him on I.G @Ben_uptrade I will definitely be referring him to you all
I've been avoiding this area since after 9/11 I can't bring myself to go there and even when I'm at the Fulton station, I don't bother going up, I just transfer from one train to another. I don't know like many NYers who experienced and witnessed the 9/11 attack, I think most of us avoid that area unless we have to work. Maybe one day I'll get the courage to go up and see it, but I'm not in a hurry. Likewise, I have never visited the memorial nor the museum, I still get flashbacks of that day. Thank you for sharing this at least I can see it this way.
my mom used to work there a long time ago (70's/80's). I have offered to show her around the area, but she refuses. I understand where you're coming from.
I understand.Beautiful architecture. For me I take a connecting train from NJ to the NY subway sometimes and I feel so dizzy and strange here to the lines and open spaces and try to avoid. Im weird. Its a little better if im with someone though .At least i can see everything through the video here . 😊
There was heavy criticism of the cost. And yes, the cost was phenomenal. But all the great buildings of the world were costly. This is one of the most stunning buildings in New York. Most new New York buildings are bland glass towers. This is sculptural which is the hallmark of Calatrava's work. I think appreciation will only grow over time. It's worth a visit even if you don't intend to ride the PATH subway. Calatrava is also the architect for the new St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church nearby.
I've been in the Oculus. I took the Path train to New Jersey. While enroute on the train a homeless man enter the car. I was surprised but I expected it because there is homeless population around the ferry too.
The inside structure looks like the facade of the twin towers bowing over the visitors. I really like that, because it‘s like a reminder of what used to be there.. when people looked up at the twin towers it also looked like the twins bowing over them due to their height. Don‘t know if that’s intentional, but if it is, I love that sort of memorial attention to detail
Hi!! Congratulations on your great videos! Can I make a suggestion? Why not make a video showing the route from Manhattan to Jersey Gardens? And if possible take a walk inside the Jersey Gardens to show us all the place. Thanks a lot!!
How did I miss this one!? Very very interesting to see inside! (ActionKid: a tip for you; the point of escalators is you don't have to walk up or down stairs; the stairs will move you along; you can rest yourself for a minute! Hahaha!)
I like you to do different videos. Do not just walk in the streets. I enjoyed it very much. I hope you make more videos like that. PS: I would like to see the atrium of the Trump Tower.
I try but most indoor areas are private property which have their own rules and policies about video recording. I most recently tried to film inside the New York Transit Museum before I was stopped. Trump Tower is also one of the most highly secured buildings in the world, law enforcement won't let you inside the atrium unless you have a good purpose inside the building.
I've seen surprisingly few or actually none of electric transport devices such as hoverboards or segways, especially considering the size of NYC. Is it really possible? Best Regards.
Same to Underground Rockefeller Center and leaves on the seventh avenue and connects several building Rockefeller Center and it leaves by the sixth avenue and it connects with several buildings and it leaves by the Seventh Avenue it passes through the 6 And It connects with the Buildings 1251 1261 etc etc
I can't believe there's nobody checking bags at the front door. When I was in Paris there was somebody staffed at the entrance pretty much everywhere to peak in bags and do a quick metals search with a hand wand, even at the Disney store and entrances to malls.

It's an impressive structure but as for the shops, a One Run & Done for most red blooded guys. Practically all these stores cater to women only. And notice how there's practically nowhere to actually grab something to eat?
Thank for this organic piece of production: No annoying music, no computer voice. Thank you.
The Oculus is a true architectural masterpiece and is so fitting in a city like NYC that’s constantly changing and evolving
If The Oculus isn’t the new home of The Phantom of the Opera Musical in NYC, it very well should be! It’s perfect for Phantom’s new home!
