I still hardly do believe... still makes me ... don't know what. No words!
I guess he was trying to say that if a person from before 2001 had a chance to make a quick time travel to nowdays, he'd be shocked to see that towers are gone, and probably would ask a milion questions about what happened. Saddest thing is that there would be only one answer for that person: "Go back to your times and you'll soon find out. Just make sure to live and work outside of Manhattan".
WHY can't there be a "2 WTC" ??? - a TWIN of "1 WTC"... I only spent a couple of minutes in the bottom portion of the old WTC before exiting and going back out into the streets of NYC... From what I saw, the Oculus reminds me a lot of what I saw when I peeked in of the old WTC. Lots of glass and gold trim. It was a beautiful building inside. I regret taking it for granted. That was the late 1980s. Oculus - 28:05
Krytonian dude, I agree... Was hoping they would have rebuilt them as well. Even if it meant only occupying them 50 - 70%... You'd still get back that skyline.
Having the opportunity to visit this site was a feeling cant seem to explain. It was a sad moment, a reflection moment , a moment I can remember clearly of all the people , who lost their lives on that that day. The stream of water running was soothing for my soul. It reminds me of calm. Thanks to all the people who designed this space and my condolences to all the people who lost their love one. May their soul rest in peace.
The Oculus building looks like a dove with a broken wing. And the gold orb that survived. All those names. Can't imagine being in any of those other nearby building in 2001.Makes me so sad,but how this city has come back to life gives me hope. Can't believe it's coming up on 18 years.Thank you for the video,ActionKid.Take care!
I strongly believe that is not necessary to tare down two towers to rise a modern new one up. And with the excuse, to direct everyone's eyes in the pool of dead so the new tower can go up. IF I would have been among the people that die, honestly it would have been a BIG INSULT!
I think that’s unnecessary. If anything, it shows that we can not be satisfied until we are back where we are. We need to be fine with what we have and it would also waste so much money. We don’t need the twin towers back.
Speak for yourself, Trumps proposed version of the twin towers would've been a spectacular addition to the skyline. With a roof height of 1,475 feet, they would have dominated lower manhattan. This "freedom tower" as they call it would have fit in much better on billionaires row..
Me and my buddies used to go to the WTC at around 1 or 2 AM and skate the beautiful polished marble. It was so smooth and perfect. Usually the guards left us alone being so early in the AM . This new building is impressive. I just think the originals were far nicer.
Oh, wow. That's wild that one of the first names you came upon at the memorial was that of David Angell (David Lawrence Angell). He was a creator/writer/producer of the show "Frasier".
It is outstanding and jaw dropping what man can build. The white building is amazing. Still saddens me watching videos of New York in and about where the Twin Towers once stood. The awful sad loss of life of all the people who died on that sad day.
***the only 'rebuild' had been additional exteriors on both WTC I & II. The originals are there. WTC l, ''original structures inside for anyone to see. People believe anything, meanwhile evidence of chemical plumes, not clouds loom over their heads. Deception is truth to many, as their ignoring the folly of make believe. As you going to soar to Mars' Space Station? Lots of footage about Moon landing, but nothing on or about Mars, why?

@9:02 David Lawrence Angell top left of the plaque. He was a producer of Cheers and Frasier. He and his wife were on one of the planes that crashed into the towers.
•••••America. I was born in 1967. I remember the excitement as the WTC's were welcomed. Not everyone loved, but most grew to respect and enjoy them. About every ten years family and friends would travel to the beautiful NYC. In a few years I was visiting more often, and at my leisure. New York was a wild city. Fun, and then some. The Empire State and the towers, everyone eventually wanted to see them. And I think the lady above the water liked the WTC's having her back. I am starting to not be able to travel as much. Age does catch up to you. So now I have not been to the city since 2010. About the time I turned 45. The body and mind do not need the things it once did. No more grabbing a bag and shades and doing New York with little sleep and with energy to burn. Hell, many nites going straight through until the next. Now the ONE WTC is entering this next century, soon being seen more often with the awe of a younger generation. America. Freedom. Honesty. Trust. The ability to move forward and do the right thing. 54 now. Not so cute or fast, and watching more than doing these days. Hell it's enough to run around my block, let alone run all around New York City. America will be free. She will be honest. She will be trusting. When a key chain is bought, or when fellow Americans are standing and watching. I was a flight Attendant before 9/11, never again after. Play safe, be nice, respect most, and love all. America. A new generation might add the twin tower in 20 years. We hope you do. America needs every single one of us. Every one. God bless and keep The United States of America.•••••

My mom worked in the Century 21 By the One World Trade Center before it sadly closed down due to Covid. The Memorial is like a straight walk from the store
It's been a really good video except that there's too much hanging around the memorial fountain and it was getting interesting seeing everything until going back constantly to the memorial Fountain over and over again but still though, the video shots have been excellent. I would be interested in seeing an update of videos in the same fashion during the Coronavirus pandemic to see how things have changed.
The Trade Center used to be full of people, hearing laughter and seeing smiles and tourists and citizens in awe of the marvel of engineering that was the Twin Towers. Now it's just quiet....too quiet. And when I say quiet I mean almost dead silent
My parents took me there when I was little, for some reason I thought the names on the perimeter of the fountain were the people that fell in, and their bodies were just stacked up in that center hole that I imagined to be extremely deep.
Alexis Gregoire that’s literally the exact description I have for both. O_o There are occasions that people just say these things to be relatable, but I’m serious.

@@fusionn4316 if they would rebuild them they would rebuild them near the memorial so they wont forget and it wont be disrespectful to people who passed away
First off I would like to sincerely give my condolences to innocent pedestrians, clean up crew effected by the toxic fumes, paramedics, police officers and brave firefighters that went towards the danger not away, that were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. In my opinion I personally think the twin towers should of been rebuilt with all the safety standards that exist today to make them safe. The sheer size of them was incredible and the fact that there were two of them was just so impressive. The skyline will never be the same with out them. But I also appreciate the hard workers that built the freedom tower! It is beautiful and shows a lot of symbolism in my eyes. The memorial that they built is also very calming and a place to morn all the lives that were taken that day and the collapse of a icon.
@Umb O I will say this it’s all perspective. The original WTC was iconic and nothing in the world was like it. The size and the height resembled American wealth and economy. The new one World Trade Center building is very expensive and some what resembles wealth but what I do agree with is that there are many other towers around the world that look like it. With the modern glass physique. In my opinion that’s not New York. The Empire State Building, Chrysler building. And of course the World Trade Center is New York to me. I personally think the right thing was to rebuild what was there but stronger. In my eyes that would’ve been symbolism that you can knock down our towers and will put them right back up stronger and better. The fact that there gone means the terrorist got what they wanted and their plan was to destroy them and kills many people as they could. The new tower that stands in its place is a beautiful building no doubt about that. The spire to me is a little ridiculous but what can you do. I respect what they did with the sight but I feel they should of been rebuilt.
the funtime channel The White Sprindle is the Oculus, which is the new Transport Hub entrance. That other smaller building is a temporary entrance to the Port Authority Trains. Both are not considered a WTC building
Wish they would of built a twin for the freedom tower I get the idea of the one world trade. But it would of been so symbolic to recreate the twin towers aspect while giving it a new modern design with a more improved structure but still haveing the symbolism of these to massive TWIN buildings
Had the privilege of visiting ground zero in 2017 as a 15 year old English boy with school, it was a boiling hot day but as soon as we reached ground zero there was silence.

Videos cannot do it justice. When I went and saw it, clouds were covering the top of it! This building is so massive. And so beautiful
This is so amazing. Thank you for uploading this.
Imagine if someone before 2001 teleports to this day in New York.
I would be amazed and sad at the same time.
I mean, a lot of these people were around before 2001... not sure what you think you’re trying to say.
@@jessieqk12 Are you dumb?
@@jessieqk12 "teleports"
I guess he was trying to say that if a person from before 2001 had a chance to make a quick time travel to nowdays, he'd be shocked to see that towers are gone, and probably would ask a milion questions about what happened.
Saddest thing is that there would be only one answer for that person:
"Go back to your times and you'll soon find out.
There are a couple of intriguing similarities. Still, those old towers were very unique in my opinion. Wish they'd have just rebuilt them.
Krytonian dude, I agree... Was hoping they would have rebuilt them as well. Even if it meant only occupying them 50 - 70%... You'd still get back that skyline.
the new 2 WTC is under construction, though halted.
Can you imagine how full of spirits it must be by now? :O

This is much better if they created Triple or Triplet Towers, to show them that America is stronger than they thought.
I strongly believe that is not necessary to tare down two towers to rise a modern new one up.
And with the excuse, to direct everyone's eyes in the pool of dead so the new tower can go up.
IF I would have been among the people that die, honestly it would have been a BIG INSULT!
They have already built 4 towers and 2 more are planned.
Original towers had much more personality, history and uniqueness to them, I miss them!
@@shellyoung2646 shut the fuck up
Sandvich Collector #TF2 for life because they were twins lol
Eh, they were gigantic bare blocks - built at the terrible expense of safety for nothing but pure profit.
Me and my buddies used to go to the WTC at around 1 or 2 AM and skate the beautiful polished marble. It was so smooth and perfect. Usually the guards left us alone being so early in the AM .
This new building is impressive.
I just think the originals were far nicer.
NY will never be the same again after that day.
2:54 That's kinda sad :(
Thanks for posting this Alex Basiri! I plan on visiting this site one day. You have documented this place wonderfully.
Simply breathtaking. The entire rebuild is beautiful. Thank you for the video.
***the only 'rebuild' had been additional exteriors on both WTC I & II. The originals are there. WTC l, ''original structures inside for anyone to see.

Fantastic video! Loved all the different angles you did. Wish to go there someday myself!
I am filled with emotion watching this. It is really inspiring to see what we are capable of, when faced with unspeakable evil and hatred! And that we can rebuild bigger and not only better. But stronger as well! The Freedom Tower is a symbol of strength and determination!
I remember the memories of working at two World Trade Center B4 Level platform. There were a lot of people inside and outside of the building. I never felt lonely there and it was my second home. God bless there and the people around there. I'm sorry that alot of people lost their lives on 9/11. God bless them.

I’m pretty sure it’s in the video, but when I went there, there were tents that sold World Trade Center merchandise.
The twin towers will be missed, but the new WTC is still beautiful.
Love watching this...beautiful New York much love from South Africa

Honestly The World Trade Center site is one of my personal favorite areas in New York City, Old Is Gold, New Is Cool🔥
I like the memorial fountains most and how huge they are ! Every qm² in the Center of Manhattan is precious and not cheap to get some, so it's fantastic they honoured those who perished in that way ! Not only the seize, the whole Idea how to keep " them " forever in our mind, is simply gorgeous!! 🥰👏🤝🎖🤞🍀🌹🃏☮️♾️ ps: and your walk around catching that mood pretty well, thx for share !! xxx

OMG that is one beautiful tower. An HD video in 2018. Thumbs up!
its just media, no truth there, same towers still stand, same exact place, you are programmed, they own your mind. so work to get free of that.

Go during the summer
I wish we had such crisp video imagery of the original towers.
My parents took me there when I was little, for some reason I thought the names on the perimeter of the fountain were the people that fell in, and their bodies were just stacked up in that center hole that I imagined to be extremely deep.

Yes i miss the 2 wtc towers also. They were the symbol of New Yorks skyline. I think they should have rebuilt them on the same spot..
Just now realizing, mostly due to the vantage point of this video, that the Freedom Tower is essentially the Washington Monument in DC.

It would be disrespectul to the people who passed away and their families because you're basically rebuilding the same type of buildings and basically acting like 9/11 never happened.

It is a cool building, but the twins were just so much better.
Is that smaller building beside the new tower one of the towers?
the funtime channel The White Sprindle is the Oculus, which is the new Transport Hub entrance. That other smaller building is a temporary entrance to the Port Authority Trains. Both are not considered a WTC building

I was there a few years ago. Watching this video makes me feel so familiar with this area.
Wish they would of built a twin for the freedom tower I get the idea of the one world trade. But it would of been so symbolic to recreate the twin towers aspect while giving it a new modern design with a more improved structure but still haveing the symbolism of these to massive TWIN buildings
