I did a lot of work outside yesterday and I am feeling it today LOL. Haven't had a chance to watch that succulent video yet.
OH Boy I know that feeling of waking up to being sore. For as many days as I have neen shoveling gravel I am still a bit sore when I wake up. I had dinner lastnightafter a bit of a rest and went gack out in to work as I said below. to tropical plant mama. And then it rained again. Crazy early summer almost. Not complaining we do neeed the rain. Woke to 46 degrees. Burrrrr and it is a little more than breezy. I will take my time heading out to do more this morning. Thanks for watching.
I am feeling better about the yard today. Spent several hours out there. Also last night after my dinner I went back out and worked for quite awhile. Making progress. I might do a short update video to see I did get a lot of it done in a day or two. Looks so much better. To me anyway. LOL I keeo having to dodge rain storms. They come onfast and hard butso far do not last very long. It is reay heping to get the weeds dug and pulled. thanks for watching.
Wow your gravel looks really nice. A lot of hard work you've done and you still have a big pile left. Love summer but man its so much extra work to try to keep up especially when we are just one person. Lots of work . I am also always fighting weeds ughh so crazy and we haven't had that much rain but the weeds still keep growing.😂 great to see an update video 😊
Thanks tropicalplantmoma. I was so tred last night when i replied to you I saw your prophile and thought it was Suzette. I have about used up the smaller pile up by the west yard gate. Bummer I will have to haul UPHILL what I need to finish the pathway dwn to the garage. That mess of iris and rhubarb dead flower stalks have now all been cut dwn and I just need to haul them to the burn pile. Tomorrow. I have had enough for today. Thanks for watchng.
These YT phone apps suck. Sometimes I can comment, sometimes not. Just tried to post a long comment using my other phone and no love but the old phone works. Go figure. Everything looks amazing. The inside of the house is straight up magical. Love it! Enclosing the porch was super smart. Need to stop by and pop in next time we head up towards Indian Valley. Meet Jacks' new girlfriend lol. Hi Donna. I al also having issues commenting on youtube or eve seeing comments with my new computer. trying to figure it out but so much else to get done all the time. thanks I do like the gravel. It kind of finishes off the yard. Most important is it is giving me safe footing.. The way it was got muddy in the rain and had loose rolling stones that got under my feet and they would take me down. The gravel actually locks together. Hope your back is feeling better. Also hope I get my YT comments back.
@@shadesofidaho I have 2 phones.. One I can comment with (my old one) and the newer one is a crapshoot :) Go figure. Tech is definitely a double edged sword. Glad you're taking care of that. Breaking a hip is a very common injury for us old timers and recovery is treacherous. I broke or fractured the tip of my middle toe 2 weeks ago. I kicked a dog ball barefoot in the dirt outside.. Brilliant, right? Put a long gash across the flesh at the bottom of my toenail and down the sides of the toe.. Packed with dirt and it bled like hell. Fun times.. Still have a slim scab there.. No pain on or around the cut but jeez the inside of the tip of my toe itches like mad and the outside is still very tender and somewhat swollen. Didn't go to the doc. What would they even do? Put it in a splint, charge me $500, and try to give me a tetanus shot and whatever else they have on the pharma menu of the day? I'll pass :)
@@S33k3R-22 OH NO Donna. Nothing like a broken toe to give you grief. Those small things pack a lot of grief. And for sure I do not need to be falling HA they ask if you have fallen when i go to my PCP for annual medicare insists on. the last couple of years I just laugh when he asks me this. You take care!

Your yard looks better than mine!! My flower beds have dandelions & grass everywhere!! I'll eventually get to it (i keep telling myself lol)
