Like u mention, instead of shaving the fan itself, just get rid of the shroud. It gives you an extra inch of space, and the fasteners arent really zip-ties, but more like plastic bolts. I use the ones that come with the radiator and they've never failed. Also, as long as you have coolant in the radiator you should never have heat issues. The other nly problem I've had was coolant leaks from the stock Mishi cap. Great vid!
I have a 2005 EVO MR GG mine has the super lean just after warm up issue. Upgraded from the Walbro 255 the previous owner had installed to DW65C. The new pump helped a little bit, but still lean. Bought some OEM internal filter and new mesh filter going to try that next. Might have some blockage or deterioration of those OEM filter parts.
So I’m doing the same thing to my evo 8 and you need a evo 9 j-pipe. Btw Love the video! Hardly any videos how to install a evo 9 turbo on an evo 8 👍🏼 good job bro!
Nice video! Hopefully once you change out some of those parts for the fuel system that problem will go away. I’m excited to see that JDM bumper to go on.🤟
I know this was awhile ago, but im curious what the idle problem was. Since you were running so lean my first guess would be fuel issues. FPR are extremely important once you switch to Ethanol bc of the amount of fuel it takes. I have everything to run Ethanol In my daily Evo 8, but im still running pump bc i dont have time to retune.
No evo videos touch your videos! Yeah I said it! I had to follow you on ig! That radiator keeps having to come out 😂🤣 you need stocks in Mitsubishi coolant
Hey just wondering I did a boost leak test on my evo8 yesterday and it was leaking from the j pipe gasket where it mounts to the turbo I ordered a new gasket for it already but was just wondering if you used any kind of rtv to help seal up the gasket? Appreciate it thanks in advance

Thanks bro Appreciated!!
Your attention to detail is what keeps me here, also I found you off of Gennari's IG posts. He's built some impressive turbos.
Thanks bro means a lot! Gennari is awesome bro and his customer service is the best! Truly genuine dude!
Might need to Change or bypass the resistor pack for the injectors to fix the idle issue.
I have the resistor pack delete! 👍🏼

Gisel Saucedo lol! Always appreciate your help ❤️

You might need to get a delete resistor for the injectors check it out.
Swaby swab already got it! Resistir lack delete. For the high Z fic injectors

Christopher Goorbarry god bless bro🙏🏿
Shoulda got the bigger J-Pipe, the OEM is super limiting.
Sick bro..I recently picked up a E7 and considering going with a E9 turbo. Do you have a list of all the bits you got for your upgrade?
Oh yea 👀🤦♂️🔥🔥 notification gang , so many new goodies
Ayeee!! really appreciate you man!
It’s all about support
I can see that you have installed the oil restrictor as part of the kit.. is it standard for a Evo 9?
