Great video. Those look like high impedance injectors and if they are without the current tune factoring them in correctly then that could be the issue since the OEM setup uses low impedance injectors with resistors. Thanks for the post. I'm researching for my fuel setup and this was helpful.
Hey great video! I was actually going to buy that exact same FPR kit you have. good thing that i saw your video before buying it. i'll look at getting the aeromotive FPR instead. I had purchased the feed line kit but man was that hard line to rubber line connection a pain. I decided to just go with a whole 6AN line especially since i will be installing a 6 Micron in line filter as well. I had similar issues when tuned on tephra v7. neveer really figured it out, got close by adjusting the post cranking fuel settings along with other tables in the ROM but i never got rid of that lean stumble right after a cold start. From what i remember, there was a glitch in the coding but some tuners new about it and were able to fix it. good luck with your new tune, cant wait to see your results
Hey! Appreciate you man! I was thinking for a second to just do a full line to the pump but got it right before giving up 😂😂 hopefully the tune fixes it!
Christopher Goorbarry lol I gave up lol. I started to strip the smaller fitting so I decided to quick before I messed something up. Oh well. I figure that a new -6 line will suit the 450 pump better
Next time you do AN fittings & lines, put a little motor oil on the threads & tip of the part you screw in, it slides into the rubber so it doesn’t push the line back & it helps the threads. Those threads are fine & aluminum, so lubrication goes a long way! ✌🏻🏁
Great vids! What was the issue? Did u fix it? My Evo 8 has almost the same problem, i checked almost everything, but i can't find. At the first starts the idle is so cheap ,don't matter the car was outside cold or was in the garage, the rpm is around 500-600. After a few mins when the engine is heated up its stabilizes to healthy ~900 rpm. Im starting to think that my ecu tune is wrong with bad coldstart map(maybe), but i’m wondering which part was responsible for ur car's idle problem, maybe it can help me.
i have a bypass 12-887 pressure regulator do you have to hook up the vacuum port line ..i didnt hook mine up i just converted tbi to carb i just put brandnew edelbrock 1406 carb on it and its backfiring popping out my exhaust..i got the pressure set at 6psi
Performance destination FTW, my fuelab fpr don’t work, ordered up aeromotive one and hoping to hit that 800+. Good choice with aeromotive instead of fuelab 👍🏼

Do all of the AN fittings require or o ring is it all metal on metal?
That fuel hard line! Thank god I saw your vid. I thought I was going to need new hardlines. 😂
Glad I could help

Bro it ended up being the tune! Just have a tuner check over the tune and they'll point you to the right direction.
Thanks for the important tips about remove the fuel line . Hope your finger is ok
Hahaha thanks man!! What a mission but worth it at the end 💪🏼
How did you mount the fpr straight up and down like that?
Did u ever fix the issue? Mines is doing the same thing. It dies when I come to a stop.
Does it matter which side you put the plug on on the fpr? Or it has to be on the right side. Thanks
It doesn't matter. It has two just in case it's a v6 or 8 and you have two fuel rails.

Not gonna lie, definitely got anxiety seeing you cut towards your arm at first 😂😂😂
hahaha

Awesome 👌
The issue u had did the tune fix it? Or what cause the problem
The last dyno day tune fixed all the issues.
@@ChrisGoorbarry okay cool... love the evo content
Are you using ptfe hose running e85?
Have a small question can i just install the fpr to the stock rail on the evo 9?
With adapters yes you sure could.
great video 👀👏🏻
😘😘🙌🏼
Does this same setup work for any lancer trim?! Please help
Essentially yes it would.
Hey bro look good.you have the size too the all firing.
Hi donde conseguiste el kit fuel rail de aem
no es AEM lo compre en STMtuned.com
Hi Bro y tus piezas que ya no usas las vendes o q haces bro
@@yasmanialarcon6558 las vendo que necesitas?
Dont remove the fuel pulsation damper, it's there for a reason :)
Doughnut media used this method to cut the lines
I need help on mine 😫
What's going on bro?
You got the lines in the wrong way the fuel line have to go to the fuel pressure regulator before it goes to the fuel rail
Set it at 55 psi
