    Hi Bob, just finished a partial restoration on mine, the seat/ suspension part was broken. You video assisted me in the reassembly but those rivets were a pain to remove and replace. Thanks again.

    Maravilloso trabajo de restauración....Es como viajar en el tiempo y traer nuestros juguetes favoritos al presente....Difícil tarea la de restaurar los mecanismos de acción, muy bien realizada, por cierto....Mis felicitaciones y mi saludo..

    Very helpful video. Have a question. Recently bought a wreck 267 batmobile, no tow hitch. Presume its a 67 release. It has red pin striping on all the edges of the bodywork. Fins, wheel guards & front and rear of the car. Is this a common thing, rare or someones home made addition to this batmoblie?. An answer would be appreciated , cheers. Rhys.

    • @BobWilliscorgi
      @BobWilliscorgi  3 роки тому

      Yes it’s most definitely a homemade addition as Corgi never painted any Red pin stripes on any of their Batmobile releases 👍
      Sorry about the late reply but for some strange reason you’re question was held for review by UA-cam? Don’t see why 🙄

    You always do great work, very impressive. I still have two Batmobiles that I would like to restore. But I'm missing parts. I've already looked the net, but haven't really found anything. Got one from the first series with the rubber tires and one from the later series with Whizzwheels. For the first one, I need rubber tires and the interior. But I didn't find one that was cut out at the back because of the moving flame. Do you know a good dealer who sells spare parts and also sends them to Germany? I am grateful for any advice. Best regards.

    Hello Bob, I just found your wonderful channel, and admire your beautiful restoration work. I have been wanting to restore my Corgi 267 Batmobile with replacement parts (missing antenna, broken windshield and siren beacon, etc..) but have never had the confidence to try it until I found your UA-cam videos. Thanks to you taking the time to explain it very slowly and methodically, (especially the complicated reassembly!) you’ve given your audience the confidence to restore these little British classic toy gems. For that, I thank you! But I was wondering if you could please provide the link to the model parts outlet you use to obtain replacement parts? The sellers on eBay (U.S.) are usually very spotty on price, quality and availability of certain pieces. Most reproduction parts I find on their boards are usually low quality, and I’d assume there are much better quality parts available in the U.K., and would like to know your recommended source. Again, thanks for your videos, and all you do to keep these awesome Corgi toys alive! I’ve been an American collector since I was a boy in the late 1960’s!

    I found a box of about 30 267 batmobiles I'm various state of repair or disrepair. Some are dismantled. But it looks like all parts there. I may try restore some, but I was told they are all different years and some have no tow bar. Some are bat wheels, some are whiz wheels. I heard you can tell the year by the nostrils on the bonnet? Not sure. Help

      Don’t worry mate, virtually all the parts are interchangeable on the Batmobiles 👍
