One thing I have always double/triple checked with new trailers is the hub oil level, and hydraulic line connections for tightness. Just my OCD speaking. Love the new setups Greg
You sure did pick out a great trailer, at least for my needs. Since I became disabled, I finally found a profession I could do. Reselling. So i buy tons of pallets and resell the stuff. The trailer I need should be flat, and fork lift accessable. I also wanted to fix up older vehicles on the side and resell them. I was doing good, starting some real growth. Then my truck got totaled, in my yard. I found out the title i got when I bought the truck was fraudulent. So yeah, lost everything. But, God is good and I wont let it hold me down. I will save up again and buy a cheap truck again eventually and grow again. Business is shut down for now but it will come back. I been using a old boat trailer for years that i put a flat deck on and it held 6 pallets perfectly. I need to learn more about licensing and if I should do what you did, buy a small peterbuilt instead of a 1 ton or 3/4 ton truck.

He’s got a nice fleet but his content is all the same. 15 minutes talking in the garage, 3 engine revs and him now flirting with micheal. He needs to start show casing events and get over the “I got money let me flex”. One you tow with a semi you will never want to go back to a pickup truck for anything unless it’s smaller stuff

Love the new trailer, but I do wonder why not have a red glad hand hookup to use the trucks air to supply the suspension rather than have a separate compressor for the trailer. I know it’s not an air brake trailer but would also increase payload if using the trucks supplied air. But that’s just my thoughts that’s all. Happy to see what’s to come with it

I just got a brand new 2024 36’ pj I like it, wish I could have done hydraulic disk brakes, 72” spread axel, and air ride. I will be adding a toolbox and also be putting on a spartan torsion hitch.

I'm going to buy me a diamond C trailer and do hotshot by God grace but I want to do it with a semi and I was wondering if it was possible and you just confirmed it for thanks a lot!

If you don't have Hayes brake controller look at getting one. Full electric brake controllers don't work as intended in air brake equipped trucks
Greg, have you considered upgrading to a RAM 4500?
Did you add any load lights?
Should look into a maywest fifth wheel poly plate so you don’t have to grease the plate every time you use it

personally i want a 36 foot step deck. you get 36 foot of deck (can haul two 1 tonnes) but it only has the footprint of a 25 foot gooseneck so you can litterally still go into parking lots and not have to pre plan your routes. or anything. however that said. i understand why no trailer companies offer this lol.

Don't slide anything until it's on your truck, keeping it as forward as possible will make driving it in the city much more tolerable

That hitch setup on that gooseneck is the worst. It's hard to know if it's locked in or not. I would switch it out ASAP so that it doesn't come off the ball and beat the hell out of your bed. In face, I would take the whole bed off for safe keeping, throw a flatbed on, then swap everything back when you go to sell the truck. If you go down into a V ditch which a gooseneck, you can have the gooseneck take out the top of the tailgate. Very expensive to try and find a painted replacement and it's not going to match if you did anyway, so you end up having to get the whole thing repainted.

You don’t use chassis or component grease for a fifth wheel. You use open gear grease. It’s thinner and very tacky. It won’t seize up your fifth wheel in cold weather.

Don’t expect to have a use for the deck on the neck when you’re not a contractor or a hot shotter. And the rubber wood decking is really just designed for livestock trailers cause it won’t break and send a hoof into the asphalt at 70 mph

Looks ridiculous on that truck. Should have had another 4 foot on the front. That much gap between the trailer and the cab looks silly.
Seems like you don't think thoroughly or have guidance from others who could tell you how to match and option trucks and trailers. Overkill/inefficiency on the semi truck to tow the trailer.
The black wood deck is garbage in my opinion if you haul equipment my old trailer had it and I had hydraulic oil leak on it in a few spots and it ate the rubber right out of the wood and peeled up
