So its one of those cases where the foundation wants to take action, but at the current moment that would be a worse decision than letting it be for the moment.

No, it's one of those cases where the scenario goes over the top, but the writers love such things nowadays and hate changing the status quo so they won't try to neutralize it.

Honestly I would write an entry where the Global Occult Society set off a series of ten ton thermite bombs in the caves followed by using napalm cluster charges at the base of the monastery. It's the societies objective to protect humanity at all costs so this is something I see them doing.

@@Raximus3000 From some of the other stories I've read, there already have been incidents of SCP's ending the world, and they used other SCP's to fix everything back, or else erase the memories of the human race and make it seem like what's being seen is normal. If I remember correctly, there's an SCP that's responsible for color existing as it does now.

You know, not many vampire stories go the nosferatu route. This one does, and does it well.
The Foundation does bad things to prevent worse things, but it doesn’t grip me as much as other tellings of the same type of story.

Always felt that this Skip is trying to blame the foundation for the Earth quakes with the way it's written but i just don't think it manages that. If we saw the foundation and or theGOC/SCP Sitra Artra task force trying to destroy it and believing they've made progress only to discover the earth quakes it coursed and that the creature was far more resilient than they believed would have worked better. Ether way i agree a good reading an it's nice to see you hare Site 42.

if the foundation really exists it's kinda stupid of them not to weaponize scp that they could use to destroy whatever they want. the wish granting FLY is easily the most containable weapon they have with only minimum draw back per usage.
Mao Sama Foundation motto is "Contain and protect" not "Search and destroy" as the wiki itself states, the are not meant to destroy anomalies as a standard procedure.
The earthquakes are a result of the scp searching for more food, when it can't find any food nearby.
The twist is that the SCP ties into the greater mythos of the Sarkic GOI

I think my favorite theme of the SCP universe is this constant sense of future efforts. Like sure they can't kill/deal with the thing now. But they intend to keep trying, eventually they might manage it.
To me that is a far superior premise compared to "Nah the thing is unstoppable. We can never do anything."
As well as the SCP essentially having an infinite number of attempts, outcomes and possibilities due to various means at hand. You can write the failure, the success and anywhere in between and all of them can exist in the universe, just on different timelines, realities or whatever. It's brilliant. I love it. I'm so glad I was told about this series recently.

This is one of my personal favorite SCPs. I like when SCPs are based on old stories and legends, it gives them this creepy realistic feeling.
You could probably kill this scp with the scp that causes crystallization of an entire entity just by coming in contact with it. Of course, considering how large this scp appears to be, that would be a problem as well. Especially if you are familiar with the crystal scp I am referring to.

Maybe not, these crystal is a little hard to contain and if they release on the vampires, have a large chance to a breach.
Considering this is Lovetaar, one of the Klavigar, I don't really think that would work.
The main problem, i think, is that the SCP resides under a huge part of the Balkans. Harming it in a major way would probably cause immense destruction, with uncountable losses. I don't doubt they have its(hers?) demise as a priority, since last time i checked the O5 isn't exactly a fan of Sarkic entities, it's just very difficult to not do it messily. There are loads of SCPs that could kill it or severely incapacitate it, just not in a controlled way.
Don't think I've mentioned this, but your American accent is freakin spot-on. Really awesome SCP too.

As a romanian i can confirm that hoia forest exist. its called hoia-baciu and its located near cluj city, and yeah its a spot for supernatural occurances

This really is the article that blew the whole Sarkicism thing up. Meta outdid himself here, and straight up wrote Klavigar Lovataar as an SCP. The Sarkics really are one of the best GoIs on the wiki, and we owe that to Meta 100%. Dude is a lore wizard and a history god.

A lot of that's from the doomsday contest entires and how they allow the runners up to be added to the wiki in sequence resulting in a blob of would ending SCP's at the tail end of the three thousands. I have to imagine that O5 is waiting until some new technology or method for neutralization or containment is developed. I don’t think they’re happy just “going along with it“ either. they may not have it now but I think once they find a means to contain or neutralize, they’ll do it. So that gives me hope I guess.

Good work, as always. I found it very difficult to understand the old lady. Like a tenth as loud as the rest of the video, plus the accent, plus the lisp = impossible to understand for those of us with auditory processing issues.

Anonymous person , the self-insert trend started declining way before that other UA-camr ignited the controversy. 3999 was surely its peak, and with the ongoing 4000 contest we'll surely see the writing community going in other directions in the future.
There is literally a handful of surviving self inserts on the site compared to the thousands of other skips.
