I actually just noticed that all throughout the song Kyo is sending annoyed or pissed off looks to the people behind them and at one point even goes back presumably to tell them to get their shit together.
yeah, the sound guys were pretty shitty at this show.
This pains me a lot, because I've read interviews were Kyo states that he isn't really comfortable visiting other countries due to the fact most festivals they are invited to have issues like these about the sound, or the organization is shit itself and things go wrong; other than the fact he just normally doesn't like exiting Japan. Thanks to these cunts, this amazing band is not enjoying playing for us like they should be.
何度も裏方をにらみつけながら歌ってる京さんもこれまたカッコいい。

それでものちに「自分にもっと捩伏せる力があれば」的な事言ってましたよね。ん〜凄い
これはやばい。要は、京さんはカンで歌ってるようなもんだよね。まだこの曲はここに至るまでたくさんライブで演奏してたから対応できたけど、まだライブでやり慣れてない曲だったらどうなってただろう。
This is probably one of his best Hageshisa To performances. I just feel like he was just so overly frustrated that he couldn't concnetrate on the song. He did amazing on the chorus. And I have a feeling a lot of those techs are now going to have nightmares due to how angry he was.

Not only is this one of my fav' DEG songs, but if it wasn't for the slack sound department we'd have missed out on Kyo's fed up glares threwout towards the crew on the sideline, I have replayed many times to look our for the peeved glances. XD
Still, ontop of dodgy equipment and irritation, he still sounded great, all did.
Same here hahaha, it's just the best although I feel damn sorry for Kyo and DEG XD

Considering they could still pull through their set so well even with all the horrendous fuck-ups with the sound crew just shows how amazing they really are. But seriously what the hell are the sound guys doing?! There are so many crew members just standing around doing nothing, no wonder Kyo was so damn pissed, I'd have gone backstage and dragged them out (Actually I think Kyo did about halfway through this song)
this was actually a very good performance, despite their damn staff
if I were the stupid sound crew messing up the audio in the back and kyo was screaming “the other side of death” (2:00) while glaring at me I would just die in that moment and get it over with rather than wait to see his full wrath

The mic goes silent in part of this, WTF sound guys?! How can you mess up that bad...

ikr i love this band, and though i would think Kyo was not really loving it at the time, i can feel the anger and frustration they feel towards the sound techs in these waken performances, which give it a little something special. And in the end the band did still sound great

海外の野外フェスって結構杜撰だよ。特にこの頃(08〜12年)までは。rock am ringにイギリスのbmthってバンドが出た時も、ベース音だけ異様に拡大されたりしてメチャクチャだった。
日本人だからっていうんじゃなくて基本的に質が悪かった。

PAどうのこうのじゃなくて、これが野外です。トラブルはつきものでしょ？そこをどうカバーできるかがプロの仕事じゃないかな。
それにDIRENGREYのパフォーマンスが悪いとは、ファンの私は思いません。とても頑張られていますし、惹きつけられますね。

杉浦孝貴 いやPAもプロなんで野外だからミスっても仕方ない、アーティスト側がカバーしろってのは少しおかしいです。ある程度のミスまでならアーティスト側もカバー出来ますけど、このレベル、声が出ない、聞こえないレベルはどうしようも無いです。多分少し音楽やってる人ならわかる事だと思います。
