I saw them in Boston back in 2010 at an indoor venue. They played with Avenge Sevenfold and it was a friggin' blast. My only regret is that Arche hadn't come out yet. One of my favorite songs from this band is "Uroko", and it would have been awesome to see that one performed live.
I like the whistle screams but my favorite is 2:06 for his pitch, the reverb and the full force of sound. That sounds like the truest of screams to me. Singing was rough, he sounded tired/sick. Crazy hard song to sing though.
I guess if Kyo is mostly out of the tune is cause he don't ear himself. I Hope diru will returned to wackend and do some amazing performance with their new stuff
Devonshire Pee I think since the released of DSS they became way more famous overseas. I've red a lot of about them on the internet and i saw that they had a lot of new fans in the metal scene. i'm very proud of them so i think that if they go back to wacken they will be waited :D

+Linkin Benjamin No, as a DeG fan to the max, Kyo's intonation was a bit shaky in this performance. He could sing the notes, and didn't falter out of key too much, but he was flat on some parts

@CthuluHasChannel It's Toshiya's custom model ESP. It isn't advertised on the ESP Japan site, but that is the make of it. I've seen scans of it from Japanese magazines, so I think it's in production? I know his thunderbird-style bass is available for purchase, but as far as this one being for sale I haven't heard. It's the same thing as the bass player's from Dragon Ash, but this one has 5 strings. I'm a budding ESP buff :p
The sound is absolutely terrible this entire concert. I honestly dont think kyo could hear himself because there were some parts where he was out of key. when i saw em they were fucking phenomenal and fucking KILLED this song!
Correct, it can be quite difficult sometimes making such a sound. Take Travis Ryan for an example. He’s an absolute beast with gutturals as well. So yeah when it comes to growling. This is something Kyo is very brilliant at

compare the screams at 3:24 with the ones performed at the hide memorial summit....good god such a difference when he performed at the memorial show he must have only then started using his high scream, that's why it sounded so bad, he didn't even start doing gutterals at that time... but holy crap he's godlike now
@Goodnamechosen it was only this performance, which was bad already becaused the staff screwed up (as seen in other songs). the day after (in Utrecht) he was way better, almost perfect. so this was just a bad day for him, he also apologized for it
