    Wish I watched this video before installing my step up seat. Almost destroyed my fender. Wrench slipped. :( got er on tho. Only 2 cans of beer were injured during the install. Good stuff as always man! Taking your time is HIGHLY recommended! It's an easy install but even easier to mess up....badly. +1 on the towel advice. That was an absolute lifesaver.

    Mate, this is the best Installation video I've seen for this seat. You gave great mindful advice with a bit of comedy throughout it.
    In addition to the towel on the fender, I would suggest placing a towel over the mufflers too, just incase we scratch it with the socket wrench or tail light rail.
    Really goood advice man,
    Cheers again.

      Can you just tell me too, does the seat come with the backrest pad included or was this an optional extra? The website is very unclear about it but my research says its an add-on. Scalp Barber ha that’s 😆 funny!!!!!! I’m actually not sure about the comfort seat as I’ve never tried it….. I’m guessing the comfort seat might be more comfortable especially for longer rides. This one is way better than the original scout seat without a doubt for shorter jaunts but I think it could potentially give ya some saddle sores if you rode it for days

    Hello bro, how are you ? Im thinking un upgrading my seat, but honestly I don’t like a sissy bar on my motorcycle, currently I have a solo luggage rack, my question is … due to the shape of the passenger seat … it doesn’t seems to be really stable to carry a 40L bag, so you have any commenta about attaching some bags or luggage over the passenger seat?
    Thanks

    • @FASTLANEMOTO
      @FASTLANEMOTO  Рік тому +1

      Hey Ludwig thanks for watching and great question. So no I haven’t attached any bags as of yet my thoughts are I eventually ant to get a “Combustion Industries “ sissy bar … but since a sissy bar really isn’t the direction you want to go I really don’t know:/ I kinda dig the sorta chopper slant to things so that’s where I’m heading….I’ve scoured far and wide and there are of course some saddle bag options but I’m guessing that’s not the vibe your going for either(feel free to correct me if I’m wrong :) ) o e option I’m thinking of is do t get a two up seat but just upgrade to a better solo seat and run the Solo Rack Indian sells behind it. This would give you more to connect to and keep everything up off the fender. Still might not be enough for the bag your thinking of using but it might be worth a shot. Anywhoooo If I think of anything else I will pass it along :) lmk if you come up with a solution! Blessings

      @@FASTLANEMOTO thanks for the reply, you are right, the sissy nor the saddle bags are the right path to me… so … I’ll keep my solo seat and the rack I have … I’m mostly ride alone… but for when not … y got someone who built me a custom rack in which I can attach a passenger sit, the process it’s a bit tedious, but I’ll keep it this way until I find a better option.
      Thanks again, great content !!

    You make me feel I could do that and I don't even have a bike! Yet.
    A doofus tip, put the bolts/washers in a heavy based utensil tray like for knives, forks etc. Saves you accidentally kicking a bolt across the floor and under something. Ask me how I know 😂 If you're a level 2 doofus like me, you can even label the sections in the tray left, right, top, bottom.
