I've followed someone with his hair texture while she freeformed her locs and it's very possible for someone to have free-form locs that look like maintenanced locs. No one can tell another person that they aren't free-form just because of their hair texture or because you can see one part that looks "neat". To me one of the most beautiful things about free-form locs is that you don't know what you will get in the end and every set is unique
🧢
That’s pure cap. And you said “one part that looks neat” literally all of his parts are neat but just not retwisted. Those are partial free forms. He at some point got them separated then stopped maintaining them after he got them separated. Trust me.
@@demontiming3234 Just like I can't tell you how to feel, you cant say how his hair will loc. You have your opinion and that's good for you.
@@sunlitsebastian5156 feel how you feel love, I'm not looking for anyone to agree. I just stated my thoughts.
it is literally impossible to feeeform and have ur scalp exposed to stop it. we all know that boy twisted.
That too perfect to be freeform
Im freeform and my hair is perfect 😂
Nah it happen all you have to do is separate the locks my hair tries to lock up all the time
Cap my hair never looked free formed. I have tight curls and it makes my hair grow like individual locks. Some would just be a little thicker from picking up more hair.
No, just different hair texture
@@KinachCuttahmup if you separate your locs that ain’t free form. That’s maintenance. Lmao
You can literally see where he stops free forming and started maintaining them....
Literally 😂
Exactly. I knew I wasn't going crazy. 😂
I thought the same ass shit
I mean they are 2 different lock methods lol…
Thank God because free forms look terrible 🤷🏾♀️😁
Stop the cap lol. This is the loc community you talkin to here my boy. Those dreads are super dope but we can tell there’s been a lot of maintenance to attain them. Especially with that texture
Yeah this video is a mess
It still takes commitment
@@blairturner139 yeah but no need to lie tho
Bitch I died, when it went from free-form to twisted 🤣😂. I don't even have any long hair but I can spot I twisted dread from thousands feel away. Like, sir you know we got eye...right 👀 😂
😂
Yooo this my video! I watched your videos and your journey and you were part of my inspiration. I’m now 3 years into my journey and going strong. Sending you blessing and positive vibrations
You got this!
Thank you for trusting the process bro! Your hair is straight 🔥
Is he mixed someone let me know please and thank you
@@lakeishaknight1740Why does it matter
This ya video but it’s not posted to your UA-cam page? I don’t get it.
The perfect hair for free form locs are 4B and 4C
Yup. It's cause our hair type clumps together more easily. It's why when I had twists it took less than a month to start looking loced up 🤣.
I have 4c hair and my hair starts to loc up 3 weeks after a twistout. One of my little sisyers has 3A hair and hers start locing up after a week and some change. It's craaazzzyyyy. But 4c is the perfet hair type tho.
@@carmon1592 I'm 4c and my hair locs up immediately after washing😢
@@terenarosa4790 😂😂😂 felt that
I’d disagree freeforming 4c hair will leave u with 5 locs total on ur whole head. I think 3c makes great free forms because the curls are already curled and clumped into sections
Oooo the texturism😍
😂😂
"Perfect hair type for free form" 🙄
Shawty you bald stop it 😂
Even in the loc community, spooky tings 😵💫
@@quincywinning8997 your point exactly? Cause she looks like she's bald by choice.
That’s what I’m talking about!! 💕 That’s how I started my love locs. 🥰
There was definitely some type of maintenance involved, them sections are way too perfect
He and his hair are beautiful.
Not really. Both are basic

He def crocheted 😭
😂😂😂 right no way them bitches just turned out like dat
Right. Perfect parts and shit
Right? They look like they were sectioned so it’s def not Freeform
ik they look so unnatural why start freeform just to crochet thats so ironic
That’s not freeform locs
What😭 then educate me please
@@fetchherskechers8570 they are to perfect to be freely formed
@@YTzaecapone you’ve never seen freeforms then. There are multiple kinds
@@YTzaecapone everyone’s hair is different
It’s his hair texture he’s curly coily so his hair groups together well
afro/curly/kinky/nappy hair is the perfect hair for freeforming or locs period. no one hair type is better than the other bozo
💯
Thank you!! I was just thinking that
i don’t think he meant it like that, but yes, pop off😍
I disagree lol if my hair was to freeform I'd have 1 single loc 😂
EXACTLY!!
I love free forming my locks. I did like 6 years of professional twisted. After I cut them, I was scared my dreads wouldn't look good, but the journey was well worth it.
"The perfect hair type for freeform" ?????🤔😒
Right 😂 last I checked 4 c hair is the perfect hair type for free form. He better get tf on 😂
Listen to the voice ya'll
@@nolipoli430 it’s so sad cause dudes (who I assume are black with afro hair) in the comment section now asking if they can get their natural hair like that, texture, or if he’s mixed, what type of hair he’s got… it’s really sad this sort of hair typing happens with black men too..
Yeah I peeped that and side eyed HARD!
@@Calihon88 I feel embarrassed for my people errday
The 50% afro 50% locs made him look fine af 😍
“He has the perfect hair for Freeform” we wonder where the hair-typing and race questions start 🤦🏽♀️ and it’s because you’re clearly putting this man on a pedestal. We’re black we ALL have the perfect hair for any style.
🎯
Fr
Thanks for saying it, gotta love that texturism
@@baegonia it’s really sad that even with locs the standard of beauty is still whitewashed or favors the “exotic” black person
Thank you! They thought they ate with that mess.
Perfect hair type for free- what?
Lol right .., smh
Freeforming only in the beginning
Love his locs! Every set of locs is unique! I love that about locs! So cool! Stay blessed and thanks for sharing! ✌🏽💜💜
He looks so good!
when parts start magically appearing in your freeform locs😂
frl 😂🧐
How'd the hair go from afro to separated locs in one picture? 🤨
retwist or instalocs he was gting freeforms
Looks great for free form👍🏼
I looks like he definitely maintained them amazing nonetheless
“He’s literally got the perfect hair type for free forms”
Sorry but that’s cap. 4c is the best hair type for any kinds of locs. (He’s got some tuff hair tho no hate)
i would say type 4 hair is the easiest to loc thats a fact but not the best .. i love the curly loc look better its so cute and easier to maintain .. but thats my opinion
best doesnt exist. its easiest but not best.
@@juscallmeDABS.2type 4 definitely makes the most beautiful, tight and perfect locks. It was made for our hair as black people❤
What a beautiful man. Is he a model?
Bro is fucking beautiful
They look so good!!!
As someone who have managed different black hair types, some peoples hair clump or WEB easily. It is a property that I have seen in both very coarse to softer hair textures. It’s a specific property. Its like random strands are drawn to one another and if cuticles are raised it could be more difficult to keep separated. One minute the hair is detangled and in its own lane and the next minute they are sticking together and wrapping around one another like spaghetti. When pull apart too briskly fine, dry strands can break off onto one another. Anyone whose hair gets tangly can relate to this to SOME degree even if not poofy or highly textured.
I'm a girl and have very similar hair that goes down to my waist. I was going through a rutt and didn't comb my hair for about a month and just left it.... That's how I learned my hair naturally dreads😂😂😂. Took me about two to three days to comb it out ✌🏾
THE PERFECT HAIR TYPE FOR FREE FORMING????!!!😮
shut up
i had no idea locks could freeform like that, this is so cool
it happens naturally without messing with your hair, he was atleast separating and probably twisting tho.
freeform-ish. I had literal freeform dreads and I look bad and hated them
(those are the dreads you see being cut open full of build up and all weird looking attached to eachother.)
That’s literally amazing. Had to rewatch this. They formed perfect locks 😮
This is a video I was looking for, it shows black hair naturally locks up without combing from the natural curl pattern. It's rare to see many do this as I've seen they force it these days with sponges, towels, brushes, etc.
That’s super loose hair for free form too courser curlier hair takes like 3 months
Black? 😂😂😂😂
That mane mixed af
@@patpittz6709 right 😂
Ummm jay z and jay Cole have free forms. The dude in the clip dosent
that's just beautiful hair and a handsome young man!
Cap 🧢 he twisted them at some point it’s too neat
He went to that Bob stage
Wait im no expert on this but if he followed that process then how does he have parts or sections whatever its called?
Exactly 😂 people like jay z tell chose, j Cole, and lil Wayne have Free forms his shit is not free forms 😂
Maybe because after they free formed he went and got them properly sectioned to make them look neater I don't know
@@ofentsemoloisi6784 then they wouldn’t be freeform. Lol. The look awesome tho
He separated his hair down to the root. I have freeforms and a similar hair texture, my locs look like his.
Looks like my journey from 1990...
Only maintenance was separating them. Otherwise the free formed just like his! Bless his heart!
I never seen freeform locs down to the scalp 🤔
Damn!! That's some beautiful dreads😮
Any afro textured hair is perfect for locs. Only people with wavy or straight hair can't pull it off, honestly. And those definitely weren't free forms 😁
Aww he’s cute and so are his locks 😊
Stopped combing to get locs, but definitely not freeform.
Perfect hair type?🧍🏿♀️
All hair is perfect so yes. Perfect
looked best in the middle of the video with the coils 😍
That’s not Freeform he definitely got them twisted😂
Love the crown. Your process & journey is your process & journey ✨️
Dude only freeformed in the beginning what you mean.
Every stage was perfection
If he doesn’t comb his hair how does he get it back to its Afro shape after waking up? Cause I got hair like his and when I wake up it be all flat and shit
You wash it. Freeforming doesn't mean no maintenance, it means no combs or twisting. Separation is allowed. This man separated his locs to the root making small sections. The "neatness" is a result of his natural hair parting.
He freaking gorgeous
They’re beautiful, but too manicured to be Freeform.
😂😂😂 That nigga definitely got a retwist midway through the year. J.cole is probably the only person I've seen online that have perfect free form
"he got the perfect hair for free forming"...
I don't even follow you, you showed up in my feed and now you're going on my "do not recommend" list because of the self hate.
I have the same hair type, same length, and tbh it tangles up on itself every 3 seconds
Can’t be free form
All naturally curly hair from the kinkiest to the loosest curly can dread naturally. All growing patterns are not the same. The weight of your hair eventually separates over time, depending on your curls. I've seen people who appear to have the same curl pattern with different results and some the same no twisting. My three sons locks were not the same. Two of them wash and go while the other twisted. No two heads alike. The hair falls when it's ready if you're brave enough to look ugly with it.
he beautiful
I knew a guy who did this his hair was fabulous. He did nothing to it just wash and go and it loced up beautifully.
Stop da 🧢😂😂😂😂
He is gorgeous he is going to have beautiful children😊😊
Definitely not afro freeform. Nice locs though!
Dang throughout all my years I didn't know them shits just naturally formed! Lord do they look good.
Not freeform
Yo I don't have free forms but I can tell those some gorgeous locks.
Thought it was phoenixJakob for a minute
his hair is cute either way. I loved the fro.
The commitment
This man's hair is glorious
Came out really nice
god damn bro is beautiful
love this 😍
its looks freeform up until a certain point . once the locs became more defined and the same size in the last couple pictures some maintenance had been done .. if he continue to get maintenance like that its not freeform anymore but it def looks like it started that way for everyone saying it aint freeform at all .
That's badass!
That guyyy i ssssooooo handsome omggg
Pretty guy. He looks to be Carribean Latino. Afro mixed men look so attractive. I just prefer them heavily creamed.
What the hellllllll
those are definitely semi-Freeform, close but you can see where he started the maintenance
Whaaaat 😮 I never had idea this is possible 😅. That's so weird and interesting, looks pretty good .
I had stopped combing my hair out and it started to loc.
but damn he's so fiiiiiiine
Dude fine as hell too
bro didn’t even have to pay
I stop combing my hair for a year and it grew so thick and only air dry after wash and no detangling … I never had hair that thick before
Good hair
He’s gorgeous
lol i have bone straight hair n even i raised my brow at the "perfect curl type for free forms"
They looks good ❤
As someone with a similar hair type I can confirm this shit starts within a month of not brushing if you section it with ripping where needed I don't see why they couldn't be this neat free form
I did this with my hair 2 years ago. Now my locs are down to my lower back.
If he didn’t do any maintenance they should look like young natural tree roots 😊 still lovely tbh…
That started to happen yo my hair when i was really depressed and didnt feel like brushing my shit
His hair grows one year without growing 🤣 This isn’t just freeform this is well handmade 😎✌️
I dont mind locs or dreads but i love fros ❤
I see the parting at the roots
Crotchet fasho
Y’all my curl pattern is wild
Thats dope
