Hey bud, first off I love the vids. Two hints for you to make this game a bit more manageable. First, bottom left of the UI if you click the icon with 2 ppl on it it is much easier to reassign ppl from guard duty to everything else. Second, if you know there is a big horde in your area then send out a vehicle just before dawn to track and see what buildings they go into and then kill them in there. I know a bit cheesy but it works.
I was like "i can't believe they don't have such a feature in the game yet..."
2:22 It easy when you have a medkit, just take it from storage and drag on the portrait and done.
If you have a medkit in your HQ, you can click on HQ and grab the medkit and drop it on an injured member of a squad for instant heal. Maybe keep your medkits in your med building?
Absolutely loving this series and want to thank you for showcasing this title. I have been looking for a good zombie survival game/base builder type game and this looks exactly how I pictured that game. Because I am so interested in it being successful, I have a few ideas that I would like to see:
I've said it on a previous video and I'll say it again - they need to add the ability to construct a new building instead of just adapting an existing building. I'd also like to see a research to repair vehicles in a garage (new building). As for the medbay, I'd like to see it more passive so that as long as the medbay is staffed a certain number of beds open up and the most injured people are auto-healed first and working down to the least injured. Just watching this series, there needs to be some better ways to implement more passive actions because the level of micromanagement needed to scavenge, fight, work, etc. at the same time is just too unbalanced. Maybe implement AI or robots or something as research to automate some of that work. I don't know (just spitballing ideas).
2:58 I asked in forum, so the only way to HQ use 100% of the building is to edit the save file. As it's limited in demo, like you said for balance.
This game has a lot of potential, can't wait to what they'll make out of it!
If you can only have a small HQ , that would explain why its only half colored in when highlighted .

You need more towers optimize all the available weapons and citizens even if they have to shoot arrows

What if... The REASON you're getting horde after horde... Is because the military group you peeved previously, is pulling them toward you to attack?
No it ramps up like this even if you sided with the army to give them rations etc.
But with that I think Charlie's game either bugged out or it was a happy accident. But the "army" is meant to be 20 guys with assualt weapons and that first swarm is about 30 odd. However, he had about 200 infected. I don't know what happened but it seemed like the army were distracting the infected for multiple nights (or the game bugged out) and this made the waves build up over a few nights. It's why he had such a waiting paranoia, as it was meant to be army first, then a couple nights later the swarm, then nothing for a bit, then another bigger swarm. I think he had all three events in one big major swarm.

It seems like the hordes always attack the corners. Maybe build double walls on the corners?
Feel like there needs to be traps you can set up.
I think cars that are badly damaged, should abled to be stripped, and used to repair the other cars, or build a workshop so you can repair cars.
Repairing vehicles is active with the new patch. Just not this one.

I think the med center is bugged/broken right now. May be better to just use medkits and just insta heal them rather than messing with the med building for now.
man i would be taking the time to fill in those bug reports....
that is what they are for, to help catch what caused the bug. like the game knows something went wrong, and it wants you to tell it what may have caused

Do you see the little yellow arrows? i think they point to the known threats !!
They point to known events. Those “!” On the map. Most of mine are bugged and permanent right now, so those arrows persist.

@@wernerz8314 yeah that was the weird guy mission. He is meant to have a bit after where the weird guy knows a place in town with loads of ammo and guns. He never got this part of the mission for some reason. I am guessing that is why the ! point is there.
im looking forward to your second playthrough, i bet you will do a lot better on the second try. but really enjoying this one tho

I thought they had done an update for this game a few days ago ?
I don’t release videos as soon as I record them. They are done in advance to schedule ahead of time. Only way to have a consistent release schedule. Next video will explain about the update.
