Matthew 6:32-33 NKJV [32] For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. [33] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
I’m only 4 minutes in and I have a feeling Nate’s dad is going to be so much better at this than Nate and Dusty were last time! He’s climbing those palm trees like a pro and the two sticks with ropes to get coconuts down was probably his idea. Such amazing parents ❤️
Actually They discovered that way to get them down in the first video they made but I’m still pretty sure that yet Nate stats probably going to be a really good asset in the team and I think they’re definitely gonna survive and probably thrive on this beautiful island
You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this video! Visiting my beautiful Motherland, Tonga 🇹🇴 🤍 Both my Tongan Grandad and I will definitely be watching this together, this one is special. Love you guys x
Nate’s mama is so stinking cute!! So proud of y’all! Can’t wait to see the rest! Kara, I love when you do all the things and are proud of yourself because you totally should be!
Wish I had this relationship with my parents truly a blessing to have these two in your lives especially doing something like this shows what a family you have happy for you all thank you for this amazing content from Nova Scotia here !
I recently watched your interview on The Unplanned Podcast. I enjoyed the entire interview, but there was one thing that impressed me the most. When they asked you which country you felt had the friendliest people, you mentioned the Kurds that you met in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. I recall in one of your earlier videos, Nate had jokingly asked you if you would like to visit the Middle Eastern countries ending in ‘-stan’, knowing it was outside of your comfort zone, and you fervently answered, “no thanks!’ Seeing how much you’ve grown through your journey and your unwavering respect for all people, while disregarding the vast cultural, political and religious differences from where you grew up, is just one of the reasons I adore and support your channel. You both are genuinely good people and are a rare, but perfect example of how social media influencers should act! God bless!
I adore the parents! So glad your families are willing to be in your videos! What a lovely bunch you all are. I saw this video but then put off watching it to savor it later on. It was worth saving! I need to start over again and watch this channel from the beginning with my kids.
Cheers to the Buchanan tribe! I love seeing James and Christie again, they are truly amazing and inspiring. Its easy to see what an example they have been to Kara and Nate. Thank you for taking us along on another great adventure.
I cannot believe that Kara and Nate decided to do this again. Didn't seem too long ago that they were flying in first class in the lap of luxury. They want to show everyone that success has not made them soft!
I was beginning to think Kara was my spirit animal, but I'm certain Nates Parents havetaken on that role. THese guys (Kara & Nate included) are just the best, love everything they do,honestly, thankyou covid for closing the worldtwo weeks after I found their channel
I don't know who is behind this and if Kara is still editing the videos but it's getting better and better! Fantastic job from the editor! Looking forward to the next parts! Love you guys!
Aw Nate your parents are gorgeous. ❤ lovely to see them sharing this adventure with you and Kara. If you hadn’t taken that first flight years ago they wouldn’t be experiencing this now. It’s beautiful to know that what you two have been experiencing and accomplishing over the years has also brought your family and your friends such wonderful experiences that they might not have had otherwise. Xx
I say this with total love, respect and admiration .... You guys are totally crazy! Couldn’t be 4 better people to do this challenge. Thanks again for another cool video 💞
I just love Mom's Tennessee accent. As a woman of over 60 who tries to keep active but has had some health issues causing setbacks in the last few years, I am so happy and envious of seeing Nate's folks out there doing this. I just hope when my ordeals have eased I will be back out there with a pack on my back. Not in survival mode. Just a simple camping weekend. That is all I'm asking anymore. In the meantime, here is my inspiration.
you guys are so inspirational! I am 13 and you guys have made me want to travel the world and do van life. I didn’t watch a couple of your last videos so now I get to watch a ton today! Whenever I am traveling or in the airport I always try and keep my eye out for you guys!! Safe travels😊
We loved this video! ♥️What really impressed us is that Nate's parents were open to doing such a challenge, even with their massive following. You all have such incredible courage. I hope to learn from your stellar content creation and positive family values. Wishing you continued success! Let me know if you have any tips for an aspiring channel like ours.😃
Wow, watching your journey through the 96-hour island survival challenge in Tonga was truly inspiring! Your determination, resilience, and teamwork in the face of such difficult conditions were amazing to witness. Your vlog not only showcased the beauty of the deserted island but also highlighted the importance of survival skills and resourcefulness. Thanks Kara and Nate for taking us along on this incredible adventure!🎉❤
You guys absolutely killed it. I've been watching "The Island" and not one of the groups ever covered all the bases on the first day. To be honest, they did have to trek to find a beach and try not to get lost. I've also not seen one with the innovation to make the coconut retrieval method so seamless. Nate's parents are amazing and raised a wonderful son. Stay safe and God bless.
Thank you!! this video made me forget for a second about the fires in my beautiful home Tenerife, Canary Islands. You all stay safe out there and Kara&Nate you guys rock 🤟
kara seem to be the nicest person on earth, i wish i had the same positive energy if i were doing this survival i would hate it and be so down on myself. keep up the awesome content you guys!!
I've always been so inspired by Kara and Nate but Christie and James!!! Wow! I wanna be as active and supportive as they are at their age!! so inspirational
I'm surprised you guys are doing the survivor thing again, but pleasantly so! In my part of the world, it's standard to learn how to survive in the woods; we all learn how it's done in middle school. The annual 7th-grade camping trip then the next year, the dreaded 8th-grade survival trip lol the only tools we can bring are whatever we can fit into one of the smaller-sized tin coffee cans; w/ fishing line wrapped around the outside and holes poked into the can itself so the bottom can be used as a cooking surface. Just place the fire on the ground, put the can upside down over the fire, with the bottom facing up, and as long as you have holes in the can to let the smoke out, the flat bottom heats up and becomes the cooktop. I can't help but think how much more fun it would've been w/o having to worry about the damn cold & rain lol I live in an Alaskan island town called Ketchikan, nicknamed the First City because it's usually the 1st city one comes to when traveling to Alaska by boat or plane. My island town is located in the middle of the Tongass National Rainforest, the largest national forest in the U.S. and it's a cold-ass rainforest; a temporal one, not a tropical one, so we're always wet around here. Owning lawn furniture is silly & pointless because if it's not water-proof it'll get ruined; and if it is, it's always going to be wet and no one wants to sit on a hard, wet surface. It doesn't stop raining long enough for anything to dry out outside.
Fantastic memories you're making together! ❤ Congrats on your successful survival skills 👏 👌 🙌 Nate your parents are wonderful, so down to earth and such troopers for being willing to explore this challenge with you and Kara. 🌟
So cool , so proud of Nate’s parents, for being nuts enough to do one of your crazy challenges, and I’m so happy I get to watch you all make another wick video … ❤🇬🇧
Ive seen every episode and season of US Survivor multiple times but never once knew how they split the palm leaves haha... Great tutorials (cordage, bow drill etc) along with the actual survival aspect! Go Kara for starting fire by herself as well as Nate!!
This was such a great video!!!❤ My only complaint is that I wish it were longer. Such a beautiful island and I love that Nate's parents have come along with them❤
Its so wonderful that your parents wanted to do this survival challenge with you Nate. I could never talk my parents into doing something like this with me so I have nothing but admiration for them. I'm sure you will all talk about this for years to come along with the memories you will all make during your time on the island. Wonderful video guys as usual and I look forward to seeing part two xx
I started watching your channel today, started with Svalbard because I subscribe to Cecilia’s channel it popped up, I remembered them having you join them. Then the long flights to where you currently are. Magnificent content! I completely get why you’ve got 3.4 million subscribers on your channel, it’s unique and fun! New subscriber as of today!
I have loved this channel for months and every time I see a new video I get so excited and stop what I’m doing to enjoy the amazing videos you guys make:) this is another masterpiece in my opinion!!
i love the survival video you did with dusty and sarah last year i have just stared watching this video so i hope its just as good with nate's parents!!
Kara definitely deserves an award for going along with Nate's crazy ideas. Gotta say, fair play to Nate's parents for agreeing to take part. I definitely would not survive 😂 Great video as always 😎👍
I truly think having your dad with u is not only a wonderful memory, but old dad got yall a house on that island! ❤ love u guys ! Safe travels, an I can't wait to see what yall do next! Much love from eastern Kentucky!
Two times that Tom Hanks in the movie Cast Away popped in my head watching this. 1, was when you were drinking the coconut water and Tom talking in the movie about how coconut water is a natural laxative as he's going behind a bush, and 2 was when Kara started a fire and Tom was celebrating on the beach waving the burning palms around, singing "come on baby light my fire" and bragging to himself about making the fire, and I expected that scene to pop up after Kara was celebrating making her fire! lol! 😅
You're both becoming survivalist experts, lol 😃 Kudos to your mom and dad, Nate! The whale sightings were very cool!! I'm sure part 2 will be fun but more challenging 🏝
That was entertaining. I can't wait to see part 2. The takeaway from this for me was. I would have brought a mylar survival blanket in place of the sleeping bag. A mylar blanket is waterproof. It retains your body heat, It can be used as shelter in the rain. It can be used to shelter from the heat or cold. I would have built a raised bed using tree branches and palm branches. Great idea for getting the coconuts out of the trees and using the shells for bowls. You could carve some spoons out of the coconut shells, too. You could pull some of the meat out of the coconut and dry it in the sun to make coconut chips. Build a little smoker over a fire and smoke some fish to eat for protein throughout the day. Pour some coconut water over the fish for flavor. 😊
Hi everyone! I got so excited to see this video on your channel! Because my favorite video that you guys have made is “Surviving 72 hours on an island!” Please keep making more of these videos. They are my favorite. And you guys are doing amazing, so please keep it up. Anyways, love you guys!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
AHHH ICE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS TO COME OUT FOR SOOO LONNGGG IM SO HAPPY ITS HERE NOW THANK YOU KARA AND NATE AND NATES PARENTS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ this will be one of those videos I watch every day and never gets boring 😁
So, my parents and I were set to travel to visit my sister in Alaska (we live in Mass). Then, my mom and I came down with COVID (we are vaccinated, we will be fine), so, it’s not safe to travel and we were so sad. Your channel and some coffee are EXACTLY the cheering up I need today. Thank you for that. ❤️❤️❤️
As summer winds down in Canada and school is on most parents minds, your videos have become a inspiration and also a mental escape. Most folks are so busy with life and work schooling or finances... You both have become my #1 youtubers #2 Mr Beast #3 Sidemen. And those are big content creators! Safe travels and Look forward to more Awesome adventures. Dennis Cronk-Camping Canada
Aww your mum Nate hope her leg ok. I had to laugh at her story about sleeping😅 when she mentioned feeling something crawling up her leg ( i thinking oh no was it mice ,rat. Crab 😮) brrrr the very thought . Your Dad. Trouper attempt to making a Shelter for you all, also catching fish, so agree with him older your are Sleeping on the Ground not easy . I really hope your parents have a well Earned pampering holiday after this 🤞🤞 .😂Kara we all Guessed that Nate suggest the 4 days. Survival 🫣.
I’m watching this in hospital with my sick 6 week old baby. I feel like I can relate, no toothbrush, 2 hours of sleep… no crabs or rats thankfully. Thanks for the distraction 😊
Can I just say another reason these two make such a great couple is it seems like both families like the other spouse and makes sure to treat them like family and vice versa
Haha This video was so good! I love Kara’s “woah Jungle James got reflexes like a cat” Also I think we need a completion of Nate saying “Come to __ they said”, “try __ they said”, and “do __ they said”
It is insanely cool that Nate's parents joined! I for sure wouldn't, so I think it's easy to see where Nate might get his really adventurous side from. Either that or he paid them off, lol. Love you guys!
This is what I've been waiting for... finally an adventure video! Nate, your parents are troopers. Y'all are doing pretty darn well and I look forward to this continuing adventure. Safe and happy coconutting. 😀
I’ve been watching you guys for years and years but I’ve never been a person who comments. This time I am because I just wanna say how awesome and entertaining you guys are and how much I love all of your videos!! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you guys all these years!
Nate's parents are troopers. I can only imagine Nate's imagination as a child. Christie and James could start a channel called the Nate Chronicles.
Lololol this is a great idea 😂
Yes to the above
100 💯 agree! Total Rock Stars! Nate you look just like them too - and maybe inherited their sense of adventure. ❤
if they did I would 100 watch all of their adventures and i would love for Nate and James to bike the Colorado trail that would be amazing
Maybe Christie and James need to do a series on van life! 😊
The accent and humor of Nate's dad is a pure joy to watch
"the ground has gotten a lot harder apparently"😂 28:45

Cuz he’s a southern boy

I just love Nates parents. Their personalities are definitely where Nate got his.
You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this video! Visiting my beautiful Motherland, Tonga 🇹🇴 🤍
Both my Tongan Grandad and I will definitely be watching this together, this one is special. Love you guys x

It was a pleasure getting to hang with you guys and your parents! Great job on your isolation!! Hopefully we cross paths again soon!
Cheers to the Buchanan tribe! I love seeing James and Christie again, they are truly amazing and inspiring. Its easy to see what an example they have been to Kara and Nate. Thank you for taking us along on another great adventure.

Yes and I wonder when pt 2 is
Look at ya'll go! You're way better this round. Well freaking done!
Thank you!!! Tonga is a bit more forgiving in many ways 😄🙌🏼
Morning coffee with Kara and Nate! Thank you for another awesome video! 💖✨️

This was one of my favorite videos you have ever made when you did it in Panama! So happy to see this done again in Tonga! ❤

there is something so wholesome about Nate laughing at his mum
So, my parents and I were set to travel to visit my sister in Alaska (we live in Mass). Then, my mom and I came down with COVID (we are vaccinated, we will be fine), so, it’s not safe to travel and we were so sad. Your channel and some coffee are EXACTLY the cheering up I need today. Thank you for that. ❤️❤️❤️
Ya’ll look like younger/older versions of yourselves.
You'd be fine if you weren't vaccinated too
I can think of worse places to do a survival challenge that Tonga! What a superb video. Well done everyone.
This is actually so impressive! You must be so proud of yourselves! 😄😊
Jungle James is hilarious! :D Nate's parents ore so open-minded and chill and funny. Awesome people.
Perfect way for me to spend my afternoon watching you guys 💜☺️😊
I never thought that i would be such elated just simply seeing fire coming out successfully. You all are brilliant!!! What a trip!
"Just a girl and her machete" said by Nate's mom may be my favorite part of this video haha
As summer winds down in Canada and school is on most parents minds, your videos have become a inspiration and also a mental escape. Most folks are so busy with life and work schooling or finances...

Can I just say another reason these two make such a great couple is it seems like both families like the other spouse and makes sure to treat them like family and vice versa
I hope you're all going someplace to enjoy some comforts after this! Be safe and have fun!
Loved every part of this. Your parents are so sweet and it would be awesome to be a part of that family. Glad you guys survived lol
This is what I've been waiting for... finally an adventure video!
Nate, your parents are troopers. Y'all are doing pretty darn well and I look forward to this continuing adventure.
Safe and happy coconutting. 😀
You guys are champions, Nate your parents are so nice, I can’t wait to see the next episode.
I could just watch B roll of Nate's parents! They are so sweet and plainly themselves.
Kara you’re literally amazing for doing this😭 I could never. Definitely inspirational
Your parents are amazing! Amazing!
I’ve been watching you guys for years and years but I’ve never been a person who comments. This time I am because I just wanna say how awesome and entertaining you guys are and how much I love all of your videos!! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you guys all these years!
