I just want you guys to know I’m still happy with normal travel videos you’ve done for years 🤣 you don’t need to keep trying to see how risky you can get idk about everyone else but watching you guys last minute plan or explore places is always a banger 😂

This video (and the last) feel like a new chapter in your lives, and I couldn't be more excited for it! Very good job and keep up the good work, love you guys!
Hey guys! Maybe you don't or already know about this, since you chose to keep a machete around, the way we do it here in the Philippines is we scar the trunks of the coconut tree like pockets so they can serve as steps as you climb it. Hope that helps for the next survival adventure!
Hey guys - i didn’t know if you knew this , but that particular spider is from a group of spiders called wandering spiders, some of the most dangerous in the world are from that spider you encountered - the brazillian wandering spider and it’s genus. Glad you’re okay !
Not saying I’m not grateful but this has proven even more to me that even little things like a sip of water, going to the fridge an getting a snack a nice place to sleep just the little things we should be grateful for everything thank you guys for making this video
Good going Kara & Nate really enjoy how you both made the best of the situation. Growing up on the island of Jamaica 🇯🇲 learn some pretty good survival skills. Also you had crabs crawling around for food could've cook crab in coconut milk 😃
This awesome to watch! I've been waiting for part two! You both have inspired us to start our UA-cam Channel and travel more! Thank you again! Love the way Kara puts these videos together!
I always love how you push yourself beyond what you think are your limits. This was insane. So glad you all thrived!!! and survived. Question though, are the crabs not good to eat there? Luv y'all!
I had the same question. Some crabs like mosaic are poisonous. But the Halloween moon crab is safe according one site "Are Halloween crabs poisonous? But of course, you might be wondering if this exotic coastal rain forest crab is poisonous, as some brightly colored species are. The consensus is that they’re generally harmless.". But they are oftentimes pets apparently even though escape artists, sand diggers, don't like to be taken and moderately aggressive. I wonder if it wasn't done because of the risk to alienate some subscribers. Eating a trigger fish isn't going to put anyone off :)
@@Aevans8736 they posted about this that the crabs are very low in calories and almost use more calories cooking them, than they get from eating. So they would have to eat a LOT of the crabs to make it worth it. And apparently Sarah is a dedicated vegan, and kara and nate are mostly vegetarian they couldn't justify the amount of crabs being killed like a massacre amount, compared to how many calories it would give them
I had the same question. Why didn't they eat crabs. I have had land crabs in the Caribbean and they are awesome to eat, a local delicacy. One could cook and eat them all night and sleep during the day! When you are surviving, you really have to take advantage of every available resource.
Woahh. Getting a heart for my comment is worth the wait. Its 10pm here and it was an exhausting day but i push thru my sleepy eyes to finish this video. And it’s definitely worth it. This will put a smile on my face. Hope I wont dream about being stuck on an island.
You're so right. We have so much to be grateful for everything we have, the shelter , food, roof, cloths. I loved this challenge, it really was eye opening. I still wonder why didn't you eat those crabs 🤔
Kara and Nate. I truly love what y’all do. I enjoy what y’all do together and through all life’s problems and journeys. Y’all are always putting smiles on my face as I watch how amazing y’all are. I’d love to meet y’all one day.
I spent the last 3 months bingeing your videos from the beginning and caught up last week and have had no idea what to do with myself, nothing seems to make me as content as when I am watching your adventures, so when I seen a new video just now.. hahah makes me laugh how excited I am!! 🤪
This is absolutely insane to me, dehydration and heat. It’s scary the physical and mental toll that takes on you, not to mention dangerous! You guys are nuts! I’ve been living vicariously through your videos, I’m so jealous I’ll never have the life you do, thank you for these videos, I really look forward to them
This is not extreme or dangerous.. they had a guy who knew his stuff and they also took some comfort items like coffee for a start..they on a tidy island round the corner from mainland..you need to watch real proper survival programmes for that,, this is just a mess around..
Those crabs are edible. I'm from the island of Guam we catch them all the time. But we usually keep them in cage to clean out their stomachs. Then cook it in coconut milk. Or you could just eat right away minus the head.
Honestly we saved it and watched both these parts together like a movie and we loved it!! I love long UA-cam videos they go by so fast too 🥰so glad y’all are ok. The falling coconuts and crabs and night flies would be a no go for me
In some coconuts (not green coconuts) they have some food inside. It's called "The heart of the coconut" you can eat it but wash it before you eat it. I learned this because I'm from a small island called Guam. There is a whole lot of coconut trees here. Hope this sort of helps in you do this again.
I really enjoyed this video I would like to see more of these kind of videos it showed how hard you actually have to work just for one little thing and how we have to be grateful for what we have.
So good to see part 2 of the desert island survival! Sorry about the crabs and way to go for surviving! Love how honest you always are. Question: how did you keep your camera kit charged up on the island, or do you have super long battery life? Bear Grylls would be proud! Laura (watching from 🇬🇧)
I’m sure I would absolutely NEVER try to survive on an island. You guys did such a great job of working together and dealing with everything. Great video!
Amazing! You guys did so well!! It was so much fun to watch. I'd love to do this too but does look incredibly hard! Question, would you be able to catch and eat the crabs? 🦀
So the Daudin's vine snake you guys saw isn't fatal but can still cause pain if it bites you! HOWEVER, the Brazilian wandering spider can literally kill you, that was a close one, glad you guys stayed safe!
I would’ve brought a tent. I’m very allergic to bug bites, even things like gnats. Plus I think it’s more restful if you know creatures can’t crawl on you and bite you. Your water situation was terrifying. I’m glad you did this it was really real for us to appreciate how people really live on islands for generations. I’m really curious about the rest of the island and what it looks like and what is there. The sad thing is how much plastic washed up on shore.
@@LoveDogs___3They were literally focused on a survival situation. They refused to take all of the helpful stuff that the instructor offered. They had little energy to even open up coconuts to drink, and you expected them to pick up all the trash? Only someone who actually takes time to clean up trash would know how much of a physical task it is. You obviously don't based on this comment. Hey, I know! Why don't you do YOUR part to clean up trash? Start by the highway. I mean, I'm sure you drive near or on a highway all the time. It's there, yet YOU don't bother to pick any of it up. Normally I don’t look long UA-cam videos but this… I love it! You guys tell everything so calm or it’s makes me calm. So nice❤
It’s always fun to see Dusty and Sarah joining the video! Sarah’s face when trying to eat coconut!😂 this adventure : crazy!!
Hello Dawn how are you doing
That kitchen explains how I was in the backyard of my grandmas mixing stuff and acting like it was food lol. But very good video, y’all are one of my favorite UA-camrs .
I loved every single second of this video! I am looking forward to more challenges with Dusty and Sara, because that are my favorite kind of videos.
I loved this video it was so inspiring and made me realise how fortunate I am to have food and water every day of my life thank you guys so much for this amazing video
I'd have eaten ALL those pesky crabs. Haha. You guys rock! Love watching. 😀
Those are moon light crabs and are eatable! They have lots of meat you can eat! No idea why they didn't just cook and catch the crabs
hahaha i was thinking that too they could have been having crab feasts lol
@@fue6810 it took me until minute 31 of the video to realize exactly the same thing hahah
I came looking for this...from the first night I was thinking eat the crabs already
Right? How dense can you possibly be???
i love how they are so compassionnent
I just want you guys to know I’m still happy with normal travel videos you’ve done for years 🤣 you don’t need to keep trying to see how risky you can get idk about everyone else but watching you guys last minute plan or explore places is always a banger 😂
Somebody check on Sarah, I'm a little worried about her lol. What a fantastic adventure! I am so proud of all 4 of you! Are the crabs not edible? Seems like a great way to get over your grudge. Ha!
She's probably just not used to being in front of the camera🤷
I thought the same--about Sarah and the crabs :).
I checked.... they *are* edible.
Grudge?? What did I miss?
@@Shavlatran Kara said she resented the crabs.
This video (and the last) feel like a new chapter in your lives, and I couldn't be more excited for it! Very good job and keep up the good work, love you guys!
Who else thinks Kara is suuuuppeer CUTE in a hoodie!? Lol. Shes always adorable but that hoodie tho!
Hey guys! Maybe you don't or already know about this, since you chose to keep a machete around, the way we do it here in the Philippines is we scar the trunks of the coconut tree like pockets so they can serve as steps as you climb it. Hope that helps for the next survival adventure!
Does it not hurt the tree???
this is the best video ever! love your videos! love you kara and nate also thanks for making me happy when i’m feeling down
Hey guys - i didn’t know if you knew this , but that particular spider is from a group of spiders called wandering spiders, some of the most dangerous in the world are from that spider you encountered - the brazillian wandering spider and it’s genus. Glad you’re okay !
Subscribing because Kara lol she goes from 0-100 then to 0 then to 100! She’s so relatable
Thank God you guys made it through that! The video really did a good job showing just how hard it was to make it through!
Also you had crabs crawling around for food could've cook crab in coconut milk 😃
i know that its too late but like i just wanna say that i appreciate kara and Nate
This awesome to watch! I've been waiting for part two! You both have inspired us to start our UA-cam Channel and travel more! Thank you again! Love the way Kara puts these videos together!
👀 👀
I always love how you push yourself beyond what you think are your limits. This was insane. So glad you all thrived!!! and survived. Question though, are the crabs not good to eat there? Luv y'all!
Same question I had!
I was thinking the exact thing about the crabs.....
So excited for this. Waiting for your videos is one of my pick me up every week. Thank you for this Kara and Nate.
Woahh. Getting a heart for my comment is worth the wait. Its 10pm here and it was an exhausting day but i push thru my sleepy eyes to finish this video. And it’s definitely worth it. This will put a smile on my face. Hope I wont dream about being stuck on an island.
Actually learned useful stuff in this video. Love it. You guys did amazing.
You're so right. We have so much to be grateful for everything we have, the shelter , food, roof, cloths.
I loved this challenge, it really was eye opening.
I still wonder why didn't you eat those crabs 🤔
Y’all literally had dinner crawl up to you😂😂😂😂
Kara and Nate. I truly love what y’all do. I enjoy what y’all do together and through all life’s problems and journeys. Y’all are always putting smiles on my face as I watch how amazing y’all are. I’d love to meet y’all one day.

I love your video so much I literally stay up late at night watching your videos I love them so much thank you for creating them so😁😁😁
I love how they Didn't choose to bring anything only 1 item!! Thanks alot for making great content!
Have you not heard of the show Survivor
kara living her best life, just love her
I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been WAITING for this video. Can’t wait to watch it!! Love you guys.
This is amazing! This is going on my bucket list. Such a great and humbling experience. Thanks for sharing!
Were the crabs not edible? Cool videos and yes everyone watching does the, “well if I were there I would” scenario. Great job guys.
I was wondering the same
i agree why not eat the crabs
My thoughts exactly.
I'm sure there was a reason but... WHAT WAS THE REASON?
Those crabs are edible. I'm from the island of Guam we catch them all the time. But we usually keep them in cage to clean out their stomachs. Then cook it in coconut milk. Or you could just eat right away minus the head.
Kara you smile so much and I think that it is amazing
Honestly we saved it and watched both these parts together like a movie and we loved it!! I love long UA-cam videos they go by so fast too 🥰so glad y’all are ok. The falling coconuts and crabs and night flies would be a no go for me
Loved every bit of this amazing life changing experience. Kara I adore you. Lots of love for you guys
47 mins of laughter!😂😂 Thank you for such a generous amount of length Kara and Nate!!😁😁
Kara seems like such a kind soul
I love how Kara said " I kind of want to eat him" That cracked me up. Love you guys!!!
Yayy no throw up either
This is the best survival thing I watched ever before
So good to see part 2 of the desert island survival! Sorry about the crabs and way to go for surviving! Love how honest you always are. Question: how did you keep your camera kit charged up on the island, or do you have super long battery life? Bear Grylls would be proud! Laura (watching from 🇬🇧)
This video is soooo underrated! This was awesome and I’m super entertained 😀 😁 good job all of you 👍🏻
O M G!!!!!!
I’m sooooo proud of you all!
You should’ve eaten the crabs 🦀 lol
I would have eaten all of the crabs
I was curious why no crabs were eaten??
@@shelibecksilveria7825 saaaammmeeee
I’m sure I would absolutely NEVER try to survive on an island. You guys did such a great job of working together and dealing with everything. Great video!
I'm so happy!!! Love it when you guys post a longer video❣
Always the best content🥰
Y’all’s story telling skills are amazing! I’m sure you hear that a lot!! 😊
This is the first time I watched a video this long without skipping any parts at all ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing! You guys did so well!! It was so much fun to watch. I'd love to do this too but does look incredibly hard! Question, would you be able to catch and eat the crabs? 🦀
Yes this is what we were wondering ? Was there a reason you didn’t eat the crabs?
Me too!! Eat those crabs!
First thought I had! Eat the darn crabs!
I was thinking the same thing ?
On Reddit, I think they mentioned that the crabs would take too much effort for too little calories so they decided not to eat the crabs
So the Daudin's vine snake you guys saw isn't fatal but can still cause pain if it bites you! HOWEVER, the Brazilian wandering spider can literally kill you, that was a close one, glad you guys stayed safe!
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! 😍😍😍 some of the best content comes from you guys! Appreciate all you do for your online family of youtubers!
Their You Tube family funds their lifestyle, so I'm not sure who should be thanking who lol
You are lucky with Kara but you are most lucky with Dusty! What a great relationship!!
I love how their challenges are actually real compared to other UA-camrs
idk
Piss poor effert
literally
Omg Thxs so much 4 this many likes I’m in shock!!

This was awesome. 👌

Yes I say to👌👌👌 very nice
Hi I love your videos
@@KaraandNate ❤
Me when I see a 45 minute Kara and Nate video: 😆😆😆
Love you guys and the content you create. ❤️❤️
Same!!
I love this series and I think y’all should make more. How do you even end up in an island ? That’s been one of my dreams to be in a island
I don’t think I’ve ever drank that much water watching a video lol. You guys are amazing. Can’t wait till the next adventure
And yet they didn't bother to pick any of it up.
I bet you wrote this comment while sitting on your ass.
I love watching all the physical challenges that y’all having been taking on. It’s easy to see the joy it brings you, but you also create the best content from it!! I don’t know how you guys managed this challenge, but it was fun to watch. You continue to inspire me!! 💛
My dear you look amazing keep safe ✌ 🙏
I found Kara and Nate a month ago and have been addicted since I love this channel so much
I would love to see a collab with Michelle Khare or Safiya Nygaard some good adventures !
