- On November 2, 2022, after two years of horrific war, the US-backed Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) was forced to agree to a “cessation of hostilities” with the Ethiopian government. Since the peace agreement was made, the US continues to try to sow division within the African Horn. As long as there’s turmoil and conflicts within Africa, the U.S. is happy. They will do anything to keep African countries underdeveloped and poor. We need ALL AFRIKA to come together as #1AFRIKA and work with one another for AFRIKA to rise to it’s potential.

This war against weyane changed how we were looking to Ethiopia as whole and the amhara as a group to be honest.. we found ourselves what we thought our enemy which is the amhara people?! They're our true friends within in Ethiopia society..they have nothing to do with what haileselase and derg regime crime against eritreans people. As long as USA intervention is existing in the Horn of Africa in cooperation with other external regional rich agencies or countries we will all be exposed to poverty, famine, war and other ethnic, religion and social conflict. These few years prevailed the ownership of multibillion rich people at the expense of Heavy Weapons have to go through multiple business opportunities to settle down in our area, as a result the massive increase of ignorance, lack of leadership plus dictatorship governance of our governments make up the circumstances a remarkable negative impact on the whole African nation, especially in Eritrea when half of its people in exile and prisons. If you are optimistic it’s not bad dream but we need to wake up as urgently as possible, tell the whole African community to stay away from the Intervention of external manipulators. The only exit from this terrible phenomenon is to think together, resolve our own problems, inspire each other and deal with our own democratic change for peace, tranquility and prosperity.

If the Horn of Africa is at peace, there will be no more need for US navy to be there to ‘protect global shipping’ because there will be less piracy and the countries in the region itself could cooperate to police shipping with their own navies, especially as they get wealthier in the absence of war. Then the lucrative shipping bottleneck there would be back in the control of the countries it lies in, and not the USA. Which is bad for the US imperialist economy.

I feel sorry for the two journalists for not knowing and educating themselves about the tyrannical acts of the government in eritrea. Mr. Elias IS an ardent supporter of the Rouge regime in Eritrea despite the very well known facts about Eritrea- no constitution, no parliament, no freedom of expression, religious belief etc. Tens of thousands of citizens including journalists are languishing for over 30 years in the dungeons without due process of law. The peace agreement they signed involves the TPLF and the Ethiopian government, what is that got to do with the Eritrea government pulling their forces from Ethiopia? If Eritrean Armed forces were there because of the dispute over the border, I didn't Understand Did they have an understanding with the Ethiopian government now that the issue will be addressed?
