    I have just received on of these. It works great. I have just jump started my Prado 3.4L with totally flat battery with just a turn of a car key.

      @wingmanmedia6536 5 років тому

      Actually I was just trying to start the same car and it did not work. The jump starter is switching back from solid green to flashing red green within 2-3 seconds. After turning my key I can either hear one click or nothing at all. The only thing that is different from the first try is the first time I have had the jump starter fully charged. Today I was trying it with about 80% Between the first successful jump start a few weeks ago and unsuccessful today I tried to use it to charge my tablet through it. It did not seem to be charging good. I am charging the jump starter now and once it is 100% I will try again.

      It started with the jump without any problems when the starter was 100% charged.
      Also noticed that you do not need to turn the jump starter on to jump start your car. However as stated in the video you need to switch to protected mode(solid green) if your car battery is completelly flat.

    Dear friends!
    I've read a lot of comments on different forums. One sure ... I'm a taxi driver and I've started a lot of cars in his g7. There was no gas or diesel problem at all. I just bought her in the U28. This is a better tool. perfect for its kind. Can you argue about cable thicknesses and how you can not 2000A ... One sure sure ... Starts the cars without worry ... Thank you Suaoki ...

    You can tell from the size of the car battery it’s a tiny petrol engine. A 3.0 diesel would have been a much better vehicle for prospective purchasers to see. Hoping it will do that, or the one I had delivered today is going back.
    I note the comments about the size of the wire, wonder if the noco one has thicker leads with much less resistance?
    Anyone used this one on a reasonable size diesel and had a good experience?

      There’s a new model out now u27 model which is far better rated at 2500 amps
      I had similar model to the one in the video rated at 800 amps it was ok for a ford connect van 1.8 petrol engine but when connected to my Porsche 3.8 petrol engine wouldn’t do any thing.
      The Noco gb70 are good but overpriced for what they are
      The u27 which I mentioned earlier are around £100 Ebay which I’m getting next

      I have the U27 and although it claims to be able to start a 8.5L diesel - this piece of crap would not even turn the engine over in my 2009 Fiat Ducato (3.0L diesel). Purchased on ebay and sending back ASAP.

      Today I received u27 and proceed with test on a car with 8 liters gasoline engine, chevrolet Camaro. Battery in a car was dead so I used force start function. Attempt to start engine was unsuccesfull. Wires of smart battery clamp with EC5 pług get extremally hot and fume apeared! It looks like wires of the clamp are to small for this battery and power. Overall the clamps look like a toy, small and week! I compered U27 clamps to NOCO jump starter of my friend. NOCO has bigger wires - 8awg for 1000A peak, unless Suaoki provides 10awg only for 1250A (2500A peak)! I think this is serious mistake of Suaoki designer, thats why they released u28. Im sending back this shit and buying u28 which is still much cheaper that Noco. I wish u28 has a smaller capacity, u27 had 24000mAh.... but you cant get everything you want.

    Hello Graham, thank you for your review. Based o that i decided to buy Suaoki instead of Noco product. Unfortunately I chose U27 because it has bigger battery 24000mAh and provides 1250A for start. Please let me know the value of awg for suaoki u28, they looks bigger and overall the clamp looks like upgraded but i cant find information on that. Thank you.

    I have a 6.6 Chevy silverado I disconnected both batteries in my truck and this thing started my truck with no problems. Only thing is the clamps dosen't last long. Broke on me.

      Hi Drew, can you let me know What is the awg value on the clamps wires? What exactly happened to them? Have they burn out? I just bought u27 which seems to be a previuos version and clamps provides with a set are definitely to week for the power of 1250A for car start.

    Kedves Barátaim!
    Nagyon sok kommentet olvastam már különböző fórumokon. Egy biztos...Taxisofőr vagyok és rengeteg autót beindítottam már a suaoki g7. Egyszer sem volt probléma legyen az benzines vagy diesel. Most vettem suaoki u28. Ez még jobb eszköz. tökéletes a maga nemében. Lehet itt vitatkozni kábel vastagságról meg hogy nem tud 2000A...Egy viszont biztos...Gond nélkül beinditja az autókat...Köszönöm Suaoki...

      Yes the cables will only carry this momentary high current for just enough time to start the engine - they do get hot (as well as the unit) if you make repeated attempts to start the engine.

    Hello Graham, thank you this was just what I was looking for!! I'm on the hunt for a device that can charge Mavic battery's off grid, I was looking at this on amazon and someone kindly pointed me in the direction of this review and you happen to show it doing just that which is fantastic! my question however is do you happen to know the capacity in mAh I believe its 60wh? Also could you tell me from your tests how many times you could charge a magic battery from this device before it would have depleted, my guess from the limited info I have is approximately 4 times? I would really appreciate any information you may have. Thanks!

    Thanks for a great review!
    I currently own a Suaoki G7 and I really lack the override function these claps provide. Do you think it would be possible to buy these clamps and use them with my G7 to allow it to jump start a car with a very depleted battery?
    Another question: what engine was it that you started in the video? Fuel type and volume. I live in a cold climate with winters anywhere from -5 to -20 Celsius, and I had to start a 3.0L Diesel with my G7. We had to crank it about 5 times before it eventually started.

    • @GrahamHoughton12
      @GrahamHoughton12  6 років тому

      it was a 2 litre petrol vehicle. I have seen the clamps available on Amazon as they all mostly use the EC5 connectors. Important to keep the unit above freezing as the LiPo battery doesn't give anywhere near full power if it is around 0C

    • @panserbj0rn
      @panserbj0rn 6 років тому +1

      Well, I was actually able to start a 3.0L Diesel engine at -14C. We had to crank the vehicle and then reconnect the jump starter 5 or 6 times until the car started, but it was still pretty impressive given the temperature and the engine size.

    What is the mAh capacity for this?

    • @uthanwintun
      @uthanwintun 5 років тому

      60 Wh that translates to 12000mAh at 5V. If it is genuine, that is not too bad as Noco GB70 has 58 Wh at about double the price. Please remember this is a jump starter rather than power bank.

    I got a full refund and "NO! DON'T SEND IT BACK!"
    They obviously know the score.
    So, I now have a very good torch, flasher and useful source of low level current 12 Volts for low power, bench projects.
    Capacity? :- A 30w quartz halogen light, drained it from fully charged, down to barely lit in 25 mins. Do the Ohms Law. Power = Voltage X Current and
    Current = Voltage ÷ Resistance.
    Remember that it couldn't keep a 30W lamp alight for 25 minutes.
    The 19 volt function works OK except that nearly my nearly flat laptop drained the
    fully charged power bank in less than 10 mins.
    Compare the thickness of the leads and the posts of your car battery against the piddling little Drone-type connector. No chance of delivering a starting current for a starter motor.
    Look at the thickness of the red leads connect the alligator clips!
    Do you KNOW what thickness of copper cable is required to carry 2000 amps without voltage loss.
    In a genuine 2000 amp circuit, those alligator leads would be a FUSE!
    Can't even use it to charge the cell phone because below a certain level of current
    the battery circuit detects "insufficient output and within a couple of minutes or less, it times out!
    I can only reckon that the video is click-bait.
    No Reviewer ever moaned about my lambasting this junk and the impossibility of the claimed
    performance, and I certainly sent a few!

    So when you plug it ON CAR BATTERY it can start the engine? Try to TAKE OUT THE BATTERY and try then....it will START NOTHING...

    • @GrahamHoughton12
      @GrahamHoughton12  5 років тому +4

      absolutely incorrect. It will start the engine without any connected battery - this is the way that I test the units!

    • @Cantoix
      @Cantoix 4 роки тому

      Unbelievable! Have you used force start button as shown in the video, or simply connected to vehicle clamps? If everything else failed, read manual :)

  • @Baerchenization
    @Baerchenization 6 років тому +5

    It is soul destroying to see you use it as a power bank (and spend 90% of the video on such irrelevant functionality)... it is a damn JUMP STARTER! If you already have spent 150 Pounds on a jump starter, maybe you can find it within yourself to spend another 20 on an actual power bank, because the idea is that it is juiced up when you need it. Also, an actual power bank would be a 3rd of the size and come with Quick Charge or other such standards for your mobile phone etc...

    • @GrahamHoughton12
      @GrahamHoughton12  6 років тому +3

      Anything which provides additional functionality is preferable in my mind to having it sat in the garage or boot just in case I need to use it in the unlikely situation that I have a flat battery. When I'm camping and off grid this is my only source of mobile power for charging phones, running my portable router/file hub etc. Sure I have many power banks as well but nothing like redundancy when it comes to living off grid.

    • @slobodangligorijevic4385
      @slobodangligorijevic4385 5 років тому

      It CAN NOT START HARLEY ROAD GLIDE so IT IS JUST A POWER BANK...try it THAN MAKE COMMENTS...
