How would these compare to the Gator cases for plane travel? I was considering getting one of the Gator rolling cases but these look more heavy duty. love ya fluff
Fluff, THANKS for the “get outta here with dat noise” comment. Love the rig and concept. It amazes me how people that don’t pay for this stuff, do the vid, edit, pay the electricity and want to bag on UTubers for what they want and like in a rig. Thanks!!!!!!
Do you think line 6 will make a successor to the helix. Say a helix 2.0 the way fractal have. And can you do a video on you live tone/ go to amp in the helix
I have purchased at least 8 different pelican cases over the years for various things. I have a pelican cooler, I’ve had at least a couple pelican phone cases. If I want peace of mind, I buy a pelican case. I’m a fan of this rack idea. It’s a genius move.
Great video, and a little bit off topic but- I just saw your IEM video today as well, I was wondering if you (or maybe anyone in the comments) had any advice for building a cheaper/wired version IEM system for a small/medium church or venue space (for example) and what sort of pricing would that be around? I've been looking at the Behringer X Air XR18 and Ableton Live for click/backing tracks but seeing a wired-IEM system being built would be kind of cool. (by that I mean, using wired IEM instead of wireless and how would that look in a rack/rig - cause you'd be eliminating the transmitters/receivers and the splitters im guessing? which would effectively drop down the cost a bit more right?)
Pelican bought Hardigg because they made racks in blowmolded cases. Pelican storm cases you can get metal inserts for the top to attach things and wear resistant. Let me get this straight the pelican hardigg line is exactly what you got from a third part but with wood and cheaper lighter. That is really cool. Check out pelican case line of backpacks they are solid option for travel.
you may not be able to make something like this but I definitely could lol I like this concept of rack in a case, i might have to make something for a 50 watt head kit or something with this method
i dunno, this big case, plus guitars, plus personal luggage, plus my backpack. Seems like a bunch of stuff to shlep through an airport. An atomic amplifire 6 could fit in my backpack.
Whatever happened to you using synergy? You seemed to live that and now I see no sign of it. I was thinking of buying one to run with my helix. What did you not like about it
Fluff, I know this isn't exactly the right video to ask this question and you probably have answered it a million times, but can you suggest hardware and software for someone to begin recording music (overall cost below $400) and also acceptable specs for a PC to use in conjunction with the software, because I don't think mine will cut it. Just kinda been thinking about a real career but I don't want to dive head first and get a lot of debt going to a school to learn this. I was thinking of maybe learning what I can and maybe recording my own stuff and possibly like some high school kids in bands to gain experience. Thoughts? Thanks
Such a naive statement. The power conditioner wasn't invented for "tube amps". It's just keeping your power clean, protecting against spikes, and providing a simple power strip. Oh my god.
Brian Valadez - Not a statement but a question. You can tell because there is a „?“ also referred to as “question mark”. *Oh my gaaawd*. Be cool, stay in school. 😎
That's really cool fluff i have always wanted to build myself a rack system, i still haven't got the time it would be cool if my band used a rack system but the others are oldschool, amp straight in and play loud.
If they mounted the rubber feet 1" closer to center, they would sit in the mold lines on the top of the Pelican case. MY OCD IS TRIGGERED!!1!
I've used circle three stuff day in, day out for 3 years now, and it's perfect. Cant recommend it enough!
Got the exact same rack, except it's a Kemper, it's a killer and easy to carry rack, just love it !

It's amazing how someone will spend thousands on gear and not pay a couple hundred to protect it.
Is that a Peavey combo behind your desk?

$600+? For a $225 case and bare bones rack enclosure?
You can get custom built shock mount rack cases for that.
The idea is to reduce weight. Custom shock racks are great but they’re a pain in the ass to fly because they weigh a ton.
What's the mesh panel between the helix and the power conditioner for?
Ventillation, and cleaner looking than just leaving the slot open and empty in the front.
Hey Fluff!
Are we gonna get a Rig Rundown and some sounds? are you gonna be using a cab or just front of house and in the in ear setup?
Did Mlsoundlab change your mind about the Helix abilities. What do you think about Mlsoundlab IRs? Nobody is talking about these IRs.

Hey Fluff, are not you using Synergy poweramp anymore, and... Wow ! now you are ready for using pedals on back on the case !
Hey fluff! What's the model of this pelican case?
Sick rig
That case looks awesome! Any chance you would share your live tone for the helix?
Hey Fluff, is that big enough to fit a kemper?

He's endorsed by Orange...
Scut Monkey never see any orange. All I see is helix with ir’s.

Do you really need a power conditioner for a digital Amp?
Such a naive statement. The power conditioner wasn't invented for "tube amps". It's just keeping your power clean, protecting against spikes, and providing a simple power strip. Oh my god.

@@bvaladez74 Where did he say they were invented for "tube amps"?
mate, i could make one of these for like $20. No cases should be above $100
So no synergy anymore??
I think this is damn enough for world touring!
Wait...was that a spoiler about a European tour coming up??
Take a shot everytime Fluff says "Pelican Case"
Fly rack to go to Europe?
Gearhead University I would bet.

"I'm lazy!"
