    I have found that lining my table with a thick cheap table cloth and pouring with my vessels inside of a large aluminum pan…allows me to fill up my 8’ table with at least 75 candles..depending on vessel size.

      Tarts are wickless candles that you can add to warmers. Some warmers use tea light candles and sometimes they are used in an electric warmer which uses a small appliance style lightbulb

    ❤ used the bakers rack when I worked at a grocery store bakery proofing bread.I like what YOU are doing with the bakers rack much better. You can also get a zip up plastic "jacket" to go over and around rack (which is used for proofing, or raising bread)
    that also be used to slow down the candle cooling process.

    Loving your videos. I have a flower farm business and wanted to add some added value items along with the flowers especially for occations like Mother's Day, Easter, holidays. So thinking of adding candles with maybe matching flower or fruit seasons with the candles, possibly subscriptions monthly. I signed up for your class. I am hoping your on line class will help me with labels; laws and rules about the warning labels; maybe what type of business license (if any) I would need to sell candles. And lastly I see a lot of candles are colored. I am hoping your class will talk about coloring too. Thanks so much!!! Paula-Windmill Flower Farm, No. California

    Will you ever sell a variety pack of wicks for the different types of wax? I want to work with the 464 soy wax and need to test with different fragrance and wicks. I think that'll be a great idea for beginners instead of purchasing 100.

    Where did you get your racks from?????

  • @5taceydaisy

    Have you had this issue? I’ve found that when putting in trays of glass the wax has wobbled a bit, creating a thin but visible uneven layer above the wax line. To be fair, this could be a more fringe issue, as I have a slight shake in my arms from nerve damage, so perhaps someone with steadier hands won’t have the same experience.
    It was so difficult (and time consuming!) to try and clean off that I eventually ditched the bakers rack and started pouring in heavy-duty stackable crates. I have my containers all wicked and ready on the table, fill the first crate (it sits on a large silicone mat so if I spill wax won’t get on my floors), pour directly into the containers in the crate, then set the next crate on top and repeat. The walls of the crates are tall enough that there’s plenty of clearance between the wicks and the “ceiling,” and the crates themselves are made with gridded walls and a fully open front so there’s plenty of air circulation. Plus they fold flat when not in use, can stack as tall as I can reach, and are the same size as the bakers rack so I can have multiple columns going at once.
    It’s been much better than having to clean off wax halos, but I must admit I miss the ease of pouring at table height! If anyone has experienced this as well and solved the problem differently, or just has any suggestions overall, I’d love to hear!

    Do you change 9% fragrance to grams when pouring directly into pitcher after tearing the scale? What conversion do you use? Thanks for the video!

    • @ProCandleSupply
      @ProCandleSupply  2 роки тому +4

      Hello! Yes=) I multiply the oz of wax that I'm using by 9% which is .09 to get the oz of fragrance I need=) always by weight!

  • @marchiaholland9886
    @marchiaholland9886 2 роки тому

    When you poured your wax in your pot how much did you pour in it to the 9% fragrance

    • @ProCandleSupply
      @ProCandleSupply  2 роки тому

      ___Amount of OZ weight wax you need * 0.09 =___Oz weight of fragrance needed. You will have a very small amount of finished product left over but the formula will be 9% :) So for example if you need 16 oz weight of wax and 9% fragrance. 16*0.09=1.44 oz weight of fragrance needed.

    I was under the impression that candles (& tarts) shouldn't be moved for at least 12hours for risk of bumping the jars etc and creating air bubbles or uneven wax. Is this not true?

    I need a video on a formula or how to come up with one. I’m doing something wrong. I’ve purchased $1,000s of products from you all and in the instructions I go examples. I know I’m doing it right based on what I read on the paperwork but once I make my candles and let them sit. I light to smell. The candles don’t smell at all. They smell from the jar but when they burn 🔥 nothing 😭😭😭 I’m getting so discouraged. Please help.
