I watched hours of tutorials and settled on this being the most clear, concise one to accomplish an intimidating task. I have never made candles before and carefully followed every direction and my candles turned out amazingly. I made 140 4 oz mason jar candles with coffee fragrance as wedding favours for my son’s wedding. The guests loved them and several people want me to go into a candle making business 😂. This tutorial is perfect. Buy quality products, observe your temperatures carefully and it’s very do-able!

I have literally spent about $800 on candles for my home in the past month. As they burn out, I’m left with all these beautiful containers, and I thought HEY, why don’t I make my own and save money in the process, while not wasting a bunch of ceramic and glass 😃😃 SOO glad I found this video. I’ll be on your site very soon and I suspect often. My husband says my house looks like a Roman church or like I’m constantly ready for a hot date 😂😂😂 obviously I burn a TON of candles every night. What can I say I love ambience.
Ive spent hundreds of $$$ on candles. I never knew youi could make your own. A business is alrealdy forming in my mind!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GENEROUS VIDEO! God bless you!!
I tried making my first candles last winter watching this tutorial. Enjoyed it so much, now ready to make my second batch and turn it into a business😊 Thanks a lot!
Love this company. Video was so easy to follow. I made candles for my wedding favors. I put them in metal hearts. My guests love how unique they were and how amazing they smell. I made 12 large glass candles and added them to my bridesmaids gift box. Thank you so much. I had fun making them so now they are on my hobby list.
I made my first candle tonight and didn’t let it cool long enough before pouring so I have those craters in my first candle. Tomorrow I will retry again. I’m excited 😊
That was a very easy simple video to follow and I am disabled but I don't let that sop me from learning or trying new things thanks for taking time to make videos so easy to follow keep up the great work I thank you.

I have just spent close to an hour scrolling through different peoples videos just to figure out how to make my first soy candle, and then I came upon yours. It was thee most straight to the point, simple, helpful and visual video on the topic! I wish I'd found yours first and saved a lot of time! Thank you!!! I'll be watching many more of your videos in days and weeks to come!
5:00 I would suggest if you think you'll have a hard time finding the center (and you have a little OCD like me), before you begin, turn the tin over and use a small punch to tap a little dent in the center under the bottom, ever so slightly, you'll be able to see the indent on the inside when you go to stick the wick. If it's a glass container, you can make a little dot underneath with a marker. Also use this method if you plan to place more than one wick.
Uh, I want to make a note that, especially with soy wax. You do not want to burn your candle immediately the next day. Soy Wax has a 2 weeks cure time, not only can it be a fire hazard, but you're also not going to have any scent throw from it. Other waxes such as Paraffin wax have a much shorter cure time (just a few days), but please let ur candles cure before using them. Not only for a more pleasant experience with the candle, but to also avoid a fire hazard
Thank you for that. I just made my first batch of soup candles last night. 48 candles. I was planning on waiting the two weeks anyway but this is good to know ❤
You made soy candle making look so easy! I want to start up my own business that will be simple, quick & easy but lucrative at the same time! Thank you!
After watching so many different how- to videos finally just settled and ordered my first kit through you guys after watching your video!! Can’t wait to give it a go. Will hopefully get the hang of it and give me confidence to start my own business ✨☺️
I bought two different candle kits, one from your company and one from another company and I came to the conclusion that your wax and fragrance product is by far the best. I absolutely love the golden brand 464 wax and how smooth the top comes out and the fragrances you provide are amazing! I will be ordering more supplies from you. 👍🏼🥰😊

Hey, Nice tutorial, I find it much better if you pour pretty soon after adding fragrance, reason being it cools a bit quicker in the smaller container and the fragrance oil is better kept. I actually then put mine in racks in a wine cooler at around 15 degrees Celsius and then just heat gun the top and it smooths it out to perfect again.
Straight forward and simple ! Love it ! The only thing is on the back of my soy wax bag it said to melt it to a point of 155 F . Other then that I absolutely loved this video and found it simple and straightforward! Ty!!

I love this video and love the way she explains everything. I was so excited to purchase and get going.. I was getting ready to place an order from this company. I added a bunch of fragrances, wax, starter kit etc. It was almost 200$ worth. But the shipping is over 50$ for basic and over 100 for expedited. So I removed everything and only chose the starter kit and the scale. The total was 80$ plus 20 something for shipping. Is there a way to get cheaper shipping? What if I wanted to purchase wholesale? Shipping is just a little too much, even for one fragrance oil...(10$).

Ahhh think I know where I'm going slightly wrong, I was told to burn the Candles at 135F and cool to around 125F and that's using Cargill Soy Wax. Also was putting the Essential oil at around 135F. Apart from craters, the Candles that I've done so far burn pretty well. One or two more things and looks like all good to start selling them in the New Year. Also gonna try a Koolpug Wicks to try give more space with burning. Cheers for a great video.
Thank you, I just watched a video and they said candle making is very hard and such. You explained and showed everything so easily. Also your hair is amazing!
This was really helpful! I just started my small candle making business using the same soy wax but mixing in a bit of coconut oil for a longer burn but I was have some craters and couldn’t figure out why! Haha but I was pouring it too hot.
Super awesome tutorial. I am retired now on disability and looking for something fun to do and perhaps earn a few $$. Cheers. Thanks for the inspiration.
Heat 1lb of soy wax (per 3 candles) to 185F Remove from heat, add 1 ounce of fragrance oil to wax, stir, set aside Glue wicks down, secure them so they stay vertical After 15ish mins, Once wax is cooled to 140 or 135 (cloudy looking, cooler the wax - the more smooth w less craters) Pour into tin, wait a day, cut to quarter inch of burning now.
Enjoyed your video! Never realized how easy making candles could be! I do have some questions: is there a chart/guide for how much wax you need for different sized containers? Same question for using liquid fragrance oils for different amounts of wax? How do you add decorative dried herbs/flowers to wax, and can you make another demo video for that? I like the look of dried lavender, rose petals, and dried herbs in candles-so pretty! Thank you!

Does soy wax get old? And how do you clean the container that had melted wax in it ? Thank you, video was well done & helpful
Heat 1lb of soy wax (per 3 candles) to 185F
Remove from heat, add 1 ounce of fragrance oil to wax, stir, set aside
Glue wicks down, secure them so they stay vertical
After 15ish mins, Once wax is cooled to 140 or 135 (cloudy looking, cooler the wax - the more smooth w less craters)
Pour into tin, wait a day, cut to quarter inch of burning now.
Thank you! ☺️
What size wick?
Enjoyed your video! Never realized how easy making candles could be! I do have some questions: is there a chart/guide for how much wax you need for different sized containers? Same question for using liquid fragrance oils for different amounts of wax? How do you add decorative dried herbs/flowers to wax, and can you make another demo video for that? I like the look of dried lavender, rose petals, and dried herbs in candles-so pretty! Thank you!
