Got a quick question regarding your test drive. I have the 2020 Sonata Limited. When you go to "manual shift" the car will drop down to "D" if the revs drop below or above recommended. In my 2018 Elantra GT Sport there was a switch that essentially kept the car in "manual" instead of dropping it into drive it would drop or increase to the next gear. Does the N-Line have something similar? Plus does the N-Line have driver profiles for the seats and mirrors?
@@daniellevaldomar8702 how about getting a job instead. If you need to ask people to fund your channel, you are doing it wrong. All you need is a web cam or a cell phone. It's not complicated.
FYI, there is also a major recall on Continentals, at least in the US.
Hyundai is one of the worst car i ever owned.
got to love those HUGE Grilles!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Kia hyundai is Killing it recently!!!!
jk
I personally wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.
nothing says its Hyundai more than that giant cheap PLASTIC grille.
Hyundai has been killing it recently, I can't be the only one who used to refuse Korean cars but these are getting better and better.
YESSIR
Yes Korean cars are becoming more appealing
Wasn't really a Kia/Hyundai fan until very recently.
But yeah, going from making cheap and awfully dreadful cars during their early days that nobody should be caught dead in, to making likeable cars that are just as good as the rest of the competition, if not better. They've came a long way.
@@elijahseh Only appealing Japanese brand now imo is Mazda. And maybe Toyota.
Others, like Honda, Nissan and especially Subaru and Mitsubishi. They're no longer as interesting as they once were back in the early to late 2000's, and these days, the Koreans are just killing them.
(And yes, I was a big Subaru fanboy.)
Kia/Hyundai's been the best made cars for over 6 years now. They hired VW's cheif designer around that time. That's why all their new models look so.much better than before. They're fully legit & here to stay.
I love how Jakub is so unenthusiastic lol.
Isn’t it Jakub? Lo

This is a killer value, 0-60 in 5.3s, relatively nice interior, industry heading tech for $37k CAD?!
$33k US such a good value. For a new car, nothing is as fast and nothing is as feature packed for the price

What a terrible looking car. It looks like the equivalent to someone arguing on how to pronounce Jaguar, except have never heard of either pronounciation out loud. But they're so confident that they're correct.
That's what the design looks like.
A Hag-OO-aire.

@@JTube571 different brand. But I do see what you're saying. It'd be potentially cannibalizing G70 sales as well
This has the 2.5T stinger engine. You want more power get a tune. Youll be pushing 400 hp.
@@chrishuber8930 This is a different engine from anything offered in the Stinger. The Sonata N-Line is the first Hyundai available with this new engine. Only Kia that has it is the K5 GT.
This will do amazing against the honda accord 2.0t sport which was neck and neck with a mustang in throttle house video 😂
Mustang beat it by 3 cars on the drag, idk what you were watching. And on the roll race, the Mustang started after the accord and still came past. Not to mention ford sells a tune for the Mustang with a warranty that shits on every similar car. Mustang runs a 13.5to 13.7 quarter mile, accord is a 14.00 to 14.2. Mustang with ford tune runs a 13.00 to 13.2 Not even close. Also the Mustang has the worst Intercooler ever put in a high hp inline 4. It gets heat soaked after a single run, a problem literally any other car doesn’t have to deal with. Mustang was already heat soaking by the roll race. I know because I own one, (19) modded and tuned.

@@Sapotech Mustang always better than those ricers
@@Sapotech I know that the mustang is faster but the accord was close like really close... The wrx and the gli were bus lengths back lol.
And don't worry ur mustang is fast but. From a stop light my megane rs edc put a shelby gt350r to dust and the owner had a manual and he was having a lot of wheelspin and my megane 4 rs just did 2 wheelspins of the line cause.. U know those are crappy stock Bridgestone tyres (gonna change to Michelin pilot SS for more sticky and grip) ik it was unfair but the shelby gt350r had more than 560 buff horses and my megane has only like 280 hrsprs and less weight.... And in the turns and corners I was like... *It's go time babeh* man the way megane 4 rs edc take corners is absolutely wicked and fast. I've test drove RS3 and that took my breath away in straight line.. Was like a rocket ship. But it was laggy for daily driving it only fully kicks in at 4-5k rpm which is (jail rpm). And in corners it was disappointing :(. Heavy under steering like anything and my country has full of twisty roads and in straight line every 500m in the highway, there's a speed camera. Hyundai nerd here, I bought a Veloster N early this year and have stayed up to date with the company! The Kona N, sonata N and elantra N should all be announced by the end of this year and possibly available before summer?

I like their engine and infotainment...but I’m still not a fan of the Hyundai looks. The bubble shape and fake grills just don’t do it for me. My money would go to Mazda 6 signature...about equal torque but less boy racer look.
It’s no where near as fast as this, plus if you see it in person, it looks amazing!!

@TheStraightPipes So there is a reason why the exhaust doesn't touch, and other manufactures do this , where it is connected to the bumbler but not at the front, it disconnects behind the tip so that it doesn't get the bumper black, Whereas the Sonata does connect all the way from the pipe, but has gap at pumper where tip is to reduce black suet from building up, air goes through the gap to push the exhaust out. Its designed that way!

lol, its an ICE car! what, they where out of horses and carrieages? rofl
why do they even produce these things? they will be banned from cities within their lifetime.
You really think ICE cars are going to be replaced? Get your head out of your ass, they aren’t going anywhere. In fact EVs are the ones that have to go as they are way dirtier than ICE cars. Also, ICE cars are better than any EV could ever be.
I agree. But not to the extent of your ludicrous take. But i will buy at least a hybrid for my next car. No more ICE
@@Vanguardkl well, i guess i overdid it a bit, but most cities around here have anounced bans for 2030, some earlier, some later, but all within the 15ish years lifetime of a new car. i expect ICE cars to flood the secondhand market in 5 years and be practicly worthless in 10 because of oversaturation of the secondhand market.

I’d take the GLI, mostly because you get an LSD in it. 🤷🏻♂️

I don’t understand these less than 300hp cars that need launch control. To me, it’s a wasted feature and gimmicky. It does need an AWD.
Two car reviews in one day? Did you guys forget to make one of these Hyundai videos exclusive to patreon users?
Im not even into cars like some people but I just love the chemistry and production effort. I find myself saying, "horsepower and torque!" when I "floor" my '19 Jetta SEL. I love the silence between you two when you launch control or flower it and speak with your smiles and head nods hahaha
I completely understand the whole manual enthusiast part, however what I do not understand is why people are stuck in the opinion its cooler to have a manual? It is a new world we live in when it comes to the sophistication and out right performance of these fantastic DCT and even Torque converted transmissions such as the ZF in the supra, new M3 and many other cars. I just feel like so many people are lying to themselves when statements are made like "its cooler to have a manual" I see myself as one of the biggest manual enthusiasts. That being said even i can admit that having a well built DCT or torque converted transmission is certainly the way to go these days in terms of performance! The point I'm trying to make here is people really need to get over the whole your cooler if you have a manual thing.

Holy Hyundai I just got 9 new Hyundai reviews in my sub box. I applaud Hyundai for giving us this version of the Sonata, but as sporty and fun to drive as it seems, I’d probably still go for an Accord 2.0T or a Mazda6 2.5T, personally. But easy to see why others would go for the Sonata instead. I will say I’d have this over the Camry, though.
Nice but the price is too darm high
Can there please be a Throttle House and Straight Pipes collab? There might be some issues, because Throttle House used Michelin as a sponsor, but please!
You do know what's going on right.. Hyundai is trying to flood youtube with Hyundai reviews so had struck a deal with a bunch of creators to release simultaneously
I think you are right and it is starting to annoy me a touch. Before they say this car is going to destroy the 2.0 Accord, let's have an actual run to determine that, rather than some big mouth whom does not know for sure.
Ahh yes but the acceleration is impressive for someone whose only floored a 2010 Honda Civc, it’s the fastest car I’ve driven but please don’t judge me.
No one is going to judge you. This is a perfectly quick sedan. Wait for the aftermarket to catch up and provide software for tuning and it’ll be a fun daily. I went from a 2001 Camry v6 to my gti and it’s a world of difference. You get used to the extra power fast
