I love Hyundai!! This company continues to advance an suprise everyone including the naysayers; Keep it up Hyundai! 😎
I just got a 17 Elantra sport 6mt and I love it!! Your review and the straight pipes of the Elantra convinced me to test drive one and I have no regrets. Just wish it had a lsd. Still not sure how I feel about this gen yet I haven’t seen one in person yet but I must say I’m not digging the dash on this one
And I'm James is going to be the new 'Doug is the type of guy" comments and I'm here for it
As an owner of its sister car, the Forte GT, I’m very happy with it. A very solid, fun, compact daily driver.
I love these more down to earth reviews ... cars we can afford 😂
That door smash is no joke. First time in rented an elantra 2021. I noticed the doors 30 miles into the drive, I thought someone hit me while I was parked.
if i were these other automakers, my biggest fear would by hyundai/kia/genesis. They’re coming for blood.
Yup they definitely are. By burning their owners down and stalling randomly while driving. Definitely hungry for the owners blood.
@@mohammadkamran5862 Any automaker is going to have issues. They’ve only been out since the 70’s but they really didn’t start producing until the early 90’s. Last time i checked any owner with the issue was covered by the warranty and given a rental vehicle to drive if there’s was effected.
@@tristana.8304 yes anyone can have issues. But they don’t spontaneously burst into flames in your parking garage. There was a news report recently here in Canada. Hyundai’s and kias have been catching on fire and suddenly shutting off. And Hyundai have left a lot of people without any help. They were having these recalls for years and Hyundai neglected to fix the issues. They starting to install “early warning” sensors if your car was about to have something serious like that rather than helping people fix their engines. Some people have also been told it’s not gonna be covered because they neglected to change the oil etc. etc. so no they’ve been pretty shitty to customers.
@@mohammadkamran5862 hyundai canada is a whole different story from what i’ve heard. in the US they’re helping anyone they can.
@@tristana.8304 ok yea I suppose that’s where the differences come in as well. Your consumer protection laws are also better than Canada from what I’ve heard so that could’ve played big part for them to take responsibility in the states.
I wanted the N but couldnt find any near me so I got the n line. its pretty sweet! I really like it so far!
Your videos are so entertaining. I look forward to them.
I work at a Hyundai dealership and the whole n line lineup is dope and comfortable asf
I absolutely hate when companies don’t let you option out the performance version of a car entirely! If I’m willing to spend on performance, then give me an option to also spend on luxury and features
Those who want a sunroof in a full-performance version aren't skilled enough to have an opinion.
@@psewgobind not necessarily a sunroof....
@@psewgobind N Lines can't get HUD, 360 cam, heated seats, and prolly more that I can't think of. All of that is luxury package only
@@christo6765 Oh Well, I'm forced to get the sunroof since 6MT (in Canada) comes with Sunroof. Consolation, wife's excited about getting another car with sunroof.
ok but for real I like your banter and intro as well as series 14 top gear
Nice looking car, looks like a really good value. Your reviews are great as always.
I know know what to expect from the intro, but it never disappoints.
It feels so good waking up to a Throttle House notification.
Great video guys. It depressing all these hot hatch/little fun cars that are becoming extinct. I have 3 kids but I'm not buying some soulless vehicle to drive myself and my family around. Keep the manuals and fun alive everyone 🤘🤘🤘
I've heard a lot of 1.6 turbo setup sounds this is probably the best one
my 2017 Hyundai Tucson Sport shares the engine (but tuned differently because it's an SUV so it only makes 185HP) and it even still sounds good.
Your subscriber count is going up at a rapid pace , keep pumping out awesome content. You guys deserve it.
Tiger survived driving a Hyundai off a cliff, I'd say that's a huge win for Hyundai sales.
YEP
But every news article is "Are Genesis SUV's safe????", strongly suggesting they aren't. You know all the Facebook Karens won't read past that title...
@@pilotdog68 The real question is: Does Tiger Woods even know how to drive?
@@wrightcodyj 😬
Whether bad or good, Hyundai got a huge publicity. I guess that's why they pay Tiger the big bucks
The N line is perfect, its fast, it has a wonderful interior, more space than any compact suv and a beautiful and sporty aesthetic, dony forget it also has the best warranties imaginable from factory
I love the new Elantra I think it looks amazingly sharp to the point that I am considering getting the car
It’s coming time to trade in my Bimmer and I’ve been waiting for the TLX Type-S and the IS F but at the pace Hyundai is going, I wouldn’t be surprised if an updated G70 comes out. These Asian companies are building the foundation to take back over the car industry
When James leaned back in the seat I spit out my drink 🤣🤣 brilliant
I can’t wait for you guys to review the new N! On the top of my list for cars that I’m interested in along with the new Si :)
You guys do a great job!! Keep up the great work!
It doesn't matter what vehicles you guys review, I see a TH upload I click.
My cousin has the 2014 Hyundai Elantra
its amazing to see how far its come
Your comments about lacking luxury comforts really resonates with me. Like if I could get a Veloster N with all the luxury bells and whistles I'd be so happy. I understand that performance is the focus but like, these things aren't track day focused machines. Gimme just some options to pick.
@7:56 is the moment we all look forward to in every Throttle House video, amirite?
Honestly, tears of laughter on that intro! 🤣 And THAT'S why I subscribe to Throttlehouse....plus car reviews. Yeah, that part too
I have the elantra gt nine
It's fantastic, truly the best bang for your buck and so fun to drive
I drove with a couple Hyundai dealership guys who had each bought o e of these; one manual and one DCT. Manual Guy was a serious threat because of the tires it came with. I was very impressed with the pace, even if I'm not interested in actually buying a modern turbo.
Love the N line, but the k5 styling looks so damn good this year and a bit more masculine
I love it too, but I think that's a step up in price as well as size (mid size Vs compact)
The equivalent is the Forte GT, which I own. I also prefer the styling of the Kia to Hyundai but they have the same exact setup, interior, etc.
Yup, that looks like Ontario unfortunately. I am about 2 hours north west of you guys and have about a foot more snow :(
Good video guys. One of the best mixes of information, humor, and just great general entertainment value. Keep it up!
I want to see this drag race the new Civic SI!! You guys make the best car comparison videos but I never seen the N-Line or the SI in any drag racing videos...... I own a 2020 N-line haha 😅
I own the 2021 Forte GT, it’s Kia equivalent. Yes, I always want to know what enthusiasts and UA-camrs have to say in comparison videos between our cars and the Civic Si, GTI, etc
I love the non-intro, intro. Plus the screen ID for "and I'm James" is perfect!!!
About this car, it looks nice for where it is in the market place. But if I wanted a sporty car from the HKMG, I'd get a KIA Stinger.
Wait until they try the 2022 Elantra N, it’s amazing and sounds really good 😂
I'm astonished this channel doesn't have 10M subs yet
Not to be confused with the Full blown Elantra N coming soon that has 290 horses.
The jacket sequence is so wholesome. 😍
