I've been looking for people with experience in switching between kratom and buprenorphine for addiction or other problems. What's the easiest fastest way to get off the stuff and what level of addiction do you think 32mg-40mg of suboxone spread across 2 weeks can cause and how should one taper? How long does the wds last?
Seems like so many people need to still detox from Suboxone. What’s the actual point of it? Some will get institutionalized? I’m so confused. Thank you.
The point of it is because big pharma still needs their money when you're no longer buying their opioids. And if you're not already one of their clientele then they now just took you from your dealer. Suboxone is ALOT worse then any opioid out there. Withdrawals are ALOT worse than any other opioid withdrawal out there.
Opioid addiction causes long term changes to the brain. In true opioid abuse disorder these people are at a higher overdose risk after detox. It doesn’t matter now as it’s al synthetic crap now. The studies show opioid replacement saves lives up for 40%. Long term rehab works but only when done over 90days. It’s cheaper to just prescribe a drug than house a person for up to a year
@timothyyy1in my opinion don’t even give kratom a try. Kratom has helped me manage withdrawal symptoms, but it’s kinda like a gross powder version of suboxone that lasts 4 hours. If you try to switch from subs to kratom you will end up swallowing this gross powder every couple hours to feel normal. Look into the sublocade shot I think that’s a better option if you want to get clean from bupe eventually.
@timothyyy1 kratom is amazing. But tbh Suboxone works better for me. Weed is number one though. Weed not only helps with opioid cravings but cocaine and meth too. Also keeps me away from cigarettes too fulfills the craving for me.

I was on Sunoxone for 15 years.....now on clean day 88. I started experiencing resistant hypertensionin abouylt the same period. Is there a chance that PAWS or the general discomfort that still scratches the back of my head is driving this? Any instances where you have seen medication resistant hypertension stem from quitting?
@@NoBs48 I took a full 8mg suboxone strip for 2 days, then 4mg of suboxone for 2 days and dropped to a quarter on day 5. I do wonder how long the withdrawl should last. I've gone 6 days after the last suboxone dose and was getting effects strong enough to be forced into taking 2mg's and basically had to start over.
Exactly, I was going to say I don't know anyone who could only use it for 3 or 4 days.. I was still feeling symptoms 18 days later and NEEDED either methadone or Suboxone but then I switched to Kratom.. either way, I was sick for weeks
What if i only take 3 dosage of sub just to make it through the front half of opioid withdrawal i dont want to be addicted i just want to make it through my front half of withdrawal off opioids i need some help on this
Google and research the Bernese method. You get away scot free with no addiction. The hard part is not going back to opiates once you’re all good. It’s 8 days of subs and your drug and the dropping both. Works for all addicted at least the first time
I used 2mg on day 2 ..... 1.5 day 4.... 1 day 6 then stopped got me trough first week ok then was on part wer legs ache low energy and my head racing just have to ride it out then bad depressing it will get you through first few days broke the cycle of using heroin everyday but does help
How long have you been on it and what dose? It seems for people taking high doses for a period of years can experience quite some difficulty upon quitting . Suboxone sticks to receptor very long and very slight doses still hit the receptor . Even up to 0.05 . This does however make slow taper barable but suboxone wd can last a month or even longer maybe .
Heyy..I detoxed from sub's at providence hospital Everett WA..Providence has a medical detox where they administer detox meds. I was in for 5 days but it took the rest of the month to actually start feeling good again.

You are very correct about that and that is what it did to me question is now how to get off the subxone

Especially if your consuming Caffiene while in mild wds that will skyrocket your BP
