  • Yamaha front brake jam repair, Caliper seal kit, Fzs disc brake piston jam: In this video, Yamaha fzs v2 front brake jam problem is solved by changing the caliper seal kit and a tutorial for restoring the Yamaha Fz disc brake repair. #caliperseal #brakecaliper #yamahafzsv2
    👉Detail Process:
Friends whatever brand of motorcycle you have, If your motorcycle has a disc brake on the front wheel, Sooner or later you will definitely face the problem of a wheel jam.
In this video, I have discussed step by step how you can rebuild the brake caliper like new.
    👉Tools:
    1.10 number 11 and 12 number spanner
    2. You can use a hex socket also
    3. One screwdriver one plier
    4. Caliper seal kit
    5. brake oil to top up
    6. Kerosene or any other petroleum cleaner
    7. used toothbrush
    8. cotton clothes
    👉Process:
    1. Using 10 and 12 spanners open the caliper from the wheel.
    2. Disassemble the brake pads
    3. Remove O Ring oil seal and dust pad
    4. Clean with kerosene or petroleum cleaner
    5. Install the new caliper seal kit, apply some brake oil to lubricate
    6. Install the brake caliper assembly
    7. top-up brake oil tank
    8. Bleed brake oil to avoid air on the braking system.
    9. Pump the brake until it feels hard and effective.
    Yamaha Fz brake oil change:
👉Step 1: In the oil tank lid you can find the instructions on which brake fluid you need to pour. You may buy Dot 4 brake oil from “YAMAHALUBE” which costs Rupees 150 for a 100ml bottle or Dot 3 fluid from Castrol company also Rupees 200 to 250 for 500ml.
👉Step 2: In the second step, we need the help of a pipe which you can easily find in the hardware shop only for rupees 10 for a 1 or 2 feet length pipe. And we need to set this pipe to this caliper oil extraction bolt. Because brake fluid can damage the paint of the vehicle. If you don’t have a pipe then make sure you clean the area with water immediately.
👉Step 3: This step is very important but it is very easy also, just need to concentrate only. For this process, we need a number 11 spanner or wrench. Before losing this bolt, we need to pump the brake at least 5 to 6 times, and remember at this point we will not release this brake liver. now in the caliper fluid bolt, we will lose the bolt, and oil will automatically flow. then tighten the bolt and release the brake lever. In this process, air bubbles will not occur in the braking system. Also, we need to pour “DOT 4 or DOT 3” oil as per your liking. Though the process is time taking we need to apply the process 10 to 12 times so that the braking system totally drains the old brake fluid. Then after checking the max and min level of fluid in the tank we will tighten the lid. and the job is done.

Regular lithium based grease should not be used for brake caliper, it will get thinner when caliper gets hot and will react with the rubber dampers and reduce their life.
The silicone grease is used for this purpose.

Its the master cylinder piston problem. Change the piston kit which is in near brake lever. Also drain out the old oil and fill it with new. There are videos about changing piston, watch and do it urself.👍

@@terrencemckenzie4316 No need. Piston kit comes around 400rs only for v3. Tell them to change the Piston kit only or do it with local trusted mechanic. If you find the problem still exist, the Rubber orings, and side two rubber parts comes in Caliper needs to be change.(its better you change them to new too, while changing the piston kit, so its time saving). These rubber parts comes around some 150rs. Its better you buy those things give to local mechanic. Also buy silicone grease to use on rubber parts, normal grease not good for them. Watch videos for your bike Piston change, caliper repair, you will get an idea.

@@terrencemckenzie4316 These disc brake system almost same for all bikes. I do it myself nowadays, after getting frustrated with these mechanics careless works. you need some T spanners, ring spanners, Circlip plier tool, and some silicone grease, if you are going to do it urself.
