I know this is a comment to an ancient vid, Macca. But you're likely still to see it.
This is solid stuff, and it highlights your insight at what makes up a good, technical yet uncomplicated paintjob. Just quick vids highlighting a certain technique, provided with clear instructions.
I know that your regular vids get the most clicks, but this is quality content that will last a long time after interest in your primary stuff has winded down. More vids like this would be great!
Also, the homemade silvery broze with a pinch of gold looks great as a preshade!

Awesome guide thank you very much! Your Thousand Sons are the best I have seen.
Afew questions if I may as I will be taking the venture soon as well.
Does the Tamia Clear Red dry sticky at all? Also do you seal the models with anything?
When painting other models with cloth and gold trims, what is the best method? I imagine painting over a high gloss coat would be challenging,
Do you seal your minis at all to protect them? If so what do you use!
    Cheers and thanks again!

The clear red after a day of curing dries glossy and not tacky. If you touch it before then or use too much moisture over it, it can rub off. I seal mine with Tamiya semi-gloss from a can, and after I've sealed it I'll do the cloth and gold trim, seal it again, perform a wash and then finally a matte seal.

Loved you in Commando. I used a mix of gold, silver and dark silver on my own stuff, but I'm trying to make this as basic as possible, just 3 colours.
