(Napoleon Dynamite Voice) "Dang, almost new engine for only $9 dollars... Lucky!!" It's amazing some of the good stuff you can find that's being thrown out. I tried buying stuff from my local scrapyard but they refuse to sell anything...... Many people on PBS Antiques Road Show, had found their highly valuable items in the trash or at yard sales. One I remember off the top of my head, was an 1800's slightly beat up rare acoustic guitar that was pulled off a trash pile in New Orleans. I can't remember exactly how many thousands it was worth.
Oh yeah it's really bad some scrap yards don't let you take or Savage they won't allow you to buy anything from them the best thing to do is throw stuff away and then take something out and if they say anything look at them and say I was going to throw it out but I changed my mind lol 😆 because they're being so rude about it so much good use of certain things you could find out there this was a different scrap yard that actually sells metal and other varieties and recyclable yard so you could sell stuff to them
