Hi baz I'm working on a Mazda 6 at the moment I'm getting a code p2262 that's the only chord I'm getting does the exhaust pressure sensor cause this code
Hi I am getting p2262 turbocharger or super charger boost pressure not detected mechanical. Do you think its caused by this sensor or isit turbo thats messed up on mazda 6 2.2 skyactiv 2014 model. Thanks
Would this clear p0401 fault (exhaust gas recirculation insufficient flow) I am also getting scbc and tyre pressure error. Had EGR valve cleaned (just the EGR not entire system) and technician said it wasn't that bad.
Remove your inlet manifold. Behind the manifold is your 3 , 8mm bolts that holds the exhaust gas dispersing valve. That gets clogged up big time. Hence the insufficient flow. Your tpms and other related faults might have been triggered by the faulty exhaust pressure sensor. But make sure the exhaust pressure pipe is not clogged as well. Good luck.
would the bad sensor burn more oil in the engine? I just had the diagnosed car seem to burn more and more oil on a weekly basis but no smoke out the exhaust.
Great video, intriguing. I have Mazda 6 2014 2.2 When I run car scanner it tells me the exhaust pressure is 0.6 Kpa on idle rising to 1.3 on mild rev up! Im getting regens every 35-40 miles. I wonder if my sensor is faulty?!
@@Jaytecks I have not. I keep meaning to purchase the recommended upgraded exhaust pressure sensor though. At times getting a regen happen after 20-30 miles also! Do you have the same issue?

@@bazmeredith I would assume thats whats happened to mine, oil level went through the roof at one point then burnt it all within a week. Had sensor swapped but now it blows nothing but white smoke when i put my foot down.. any ideas?

Yes it probably would. It`s this sensor which makes all these faults show up on the dashboard.

Is any adaptation have to be done after replacement. Is computer needed after work to confirm that sensor was replaced ?

It depends if its had lots of failed dpf regens and diluted the oil.

I had intermittent fault code whenever I drove fast! the original sensor must have a fault as Mazda wanted to change it as part of a different repair

Bei mir ist zwische 1000 mbar und 3800 mbar , ich habe keine Fehler nur Partikelfilter regeneriert sehr oft.
