Some videos ago when you were removing the parts for an intake manifold de-coke, you asked what is 'this valve', namely the on on the fron of the car with the top electrical connection. That is the EGR valve. The one on the end of the engine connected to the bellows type pipe is the EGR cooler valve.
I have been trying to contact you regarding a manifold decoke, but as I do not use any Social Media sites its a bit awkward. I have had to bite the bullet and take the car to my local dealer.
Following your videos I have removed and cleaned the two EGR related valves, the EGR cooler and the two pipes, just using cheap washing up liquid, water and an old tooth brush. The EGR cooler I filled with a mixture of washing up liquid and water, blanking the ends, then flushing until it ran clear with a garden hose.
A little trick to keep the exhaust pressure sensor pipes clear ( 3 in all), pour neat washing up liquid down the pipes and allow to soak as long as possible, if the liquid disapears then it can help to clean the DPF of soot. Looks like you are breathing new life into these wonderfull cars.
Well done.
Try M6OC.CO.UK ( Mareng) or the M6Club ( Benedict) the US forum, which is supported world wide.
Looks like Red 6 Day , baring 2 models.
Kennedys garage is top notch !! , we all learn from others.
No doubt about it. I've learnt a lot from him.
Where is the garage located?
@@MrNiceGuy94Where are you based.
@@raycummings1309 Lingfield, Surrey.
Don't know about Kennedys but I mostly always look up into your channel for better tutorials.
However, I have the following issue now...
After changing the Exhaust Pressure Sensor and car was working just fine for over 600miles (I did not clean the pipe), from sudden the errors came back. I believe I should clean the pipe now...
Any recommendation what wire to use as I don't want it to snap inside etc., like any specific criteria and where to find it. I've been looking for few days so far and can not make the decision.
Please, if you read this and have an idea, share it 🙃
I was thinking of getting to your garage but its quite away from me 🙁
Hi, i have an issue with my Mazda6 2.0 165hp, i buy it new and every time I park it on the hill, if I don’t use the handbrake will slip little by little, why she loses the compression? I asked at Mazda thy told me it’s normal, even on a smaller ramps will leave … why?
That's a lot of Mazdas .. good job .. is it good practice to clean the oil pan during every oil change ?
Cleaning is never bad 😉 although maybe every second oil change would be enough.
I wish I lived in the UK because I love my Mazda but after I do it myself I think I’m going to sell. I’ve already replaced a vacuum pump, coolant bypass pipe, and now the camshaft and rockers. I’m too afraid for something else to break.
Have you had any experience with the later engines with adblue? I've 100k on my 2019 Mazda 6 2.2 184ps - is there anything I need to look out for?
I haven't worked on any with adblue yet.
@@MrNiceGuy94 hopefully that's a good sign then, a few people have said mazda have fixed most of the issues in these engines but not been able to confirm
The intake pipe has 8 holes, the exhaust pipe has 1 hole.
What are you referring to? Did I mix up something in the video? 😂
