Nice video. John Buscema was amazing and is quite a hard auto, especially on the cover. On my wish list is a Wolverine #8 (patch) signed on cover if there is one somewhere.
Thanks man! I have been trying to find more examples out there but it isn’t easy. Wolverine 8 signed would be fantastic, if I ever see one I’ll spam your videos with comments lol. Thanks for checking this out!
Great books, my friend. I will always remember meeting Ricky while his video was loading about the Keanu signing. Heres to 2025 and where we go in the hobby.
I love that you were at Terrificon. I'll never forget walking outside and seeing you there and just chilling for a minute. Can't wait to hit up FCBD with you in 2025!
Morning my friend! Thanks Elliott, I appreciate you being with me throughout this journey and your support all year! Congrats on your successful launch of HELLBOUND issue 2!
@ it’s great to watch you through the journey and how your collecting changes and stuff. Thanks!! Can’t believe it’s doing so well in just a day! Sending the files to the printer as I type this up ahhhhh
Great 2024 recap video Brandon! Love getting a chance for you to retell the origin stories begind some of these killer books you have acquired! Cant wait to see what next your will unfold for you and your collection this upcoming year. Have a good day buddy.
It was great to reminisce and appreciate just how fun of a year it was! I appreciate everyone’s support but you being (semi) local to me is really awesome. This is the year we meet up to hunt some comics, so here’s to 2025!
Great show! The enthusiastic look on your face when you featured your fantastic books was worth the price of admission. Oh, I didn't pay a thing, so I voted for you in Bjorns Tournament the first match. Now I have a delema to choose between you and lettuce comics on part two of the tournament. I might have to flip a coin because both of you guys are winners to me.
Looks like it was a great year for you and your collection! Congrats on some really awesome books! And my wife and I watch Scrooged every year. Yes, it's funny as heck, but that ending monologue of his also gives a wonderful glimpse into what a fantastic dramatic actor he would become as well. Love it!
Thanks Jeff, I’m truly grateful! My wife and I also love Scrooged, it’s comedy gold but definitely gets you in that Christmas spirit. And yes, his monologue at the end really showed his range. I appreciate you hanging out around my channel this year!
The Fin Fang Foom and DD #1 are my favorites of your top 10! Both of these books are for sure two books that I not only would love to have, but ones that I wanted since I was a little, little boy! SS#4 was also one I always loved, but that is in Bigby's hands now lol. I hope to get one slabbed in the future for sure though. You are doing really well in the Collector of the Year (AKA the Komic Kumite) voting so far! You and Lettuce is a heck of a match for sure! Good Luck going forward; and as always, thank you for shouting out my channel!
Hey Bjorn! I want to see you get those books in 2025! Prices have come down so go get them! I remember Bigby showing the SS4 he traded to get, and that’s another book you can always get back. We all appreciate the hard work you’ve put into the Komic Kumite, it’s a great end of the year blast and community building event so of course I HAD to say something! Here’s to 2025, Skol my friend!
Brandon! So much to say! That Maneely cover of Adventures into Terror is solid! Absolutely underrated artist! That FF 22 splash page is a very famous pinup of Sue Storm which is I think an homage from a Playboy magazine. That Weird Science is one of my favourite covers of the series. I have and read SotI. If you haven't, it's a very interesting and wild ride! Strongly recommend it, especially for us PCH fans! Obviously that Strange Tales with FFF is just *Chefs kiss* And that Daredevil #1 is, of course, an amazing pickup. I can't believe that was only from this year! What a year it has been! Congratulations, dude!
If anyone appreciates a good Maneely cover, I know it would be you! And yes, I forgot to mention where FF22 got the inspiration for that amazing splash page. Dropping knowledge on me yet again! I need to read SOTI. Do you have an actual copy from its original publishing? I know they aren’t easy to come by and can be pricey. I love Fin but wanted to show my JIM 62 but that’s currently at CGC. I was very grateful to get those AND a DD1 but above all it was great having you join the community this year my friend. We’re lucky to have you!
I can’t stop admiring that cover and what a work of art it was. Never thought I’d owned it signed by one of the masters! Thanks for hanging out this year with me my dude!
Watching your channel as you went through the journey of acquiring these has made for an entertaining year. A lot of great books and stories. I hope to add a Daredevil 1 to my collection in 2025. Great video, my friend!
You being here this year and sharing in my enthusiasm has made it all the more fun my friend. The friendships I’ve made through this channel are the best addition to my life. You’ll get your DD1 and I’ll be cheering you on like a madman when you do! Thanks Doug!
What a top 10! Not sure who these guys are who would think that DD #1 isn't a blue chip book, but I love to own that book any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Keep up with the great content and looking forward to another exciting year in comic books!
Haha. I just hear it a lot even though I feel it certainly is and I’m glad you agree with me lol! I truly appreciate your support throughout the year man, you are too kind and I can’t wait to have you on the channel this year when possible!
Amazing comics, Brandon! Having a Stan Lee and Keanu auto!! My favorite is still that Crow #1. I had a chance to pick that up at a crazy good price before comic prices skyrocketed and just wasn't looking to add it. I'll always kick myself for missing out on that. 8 hrs would be worth it meeting Keanu 🤘 DD #1 🔥🔥🔥 presents awesome even for a 1.0.
Thanks Cody! I am very blessed to have added all of these books to the PC. Crow 1 is out there and has come down a bit in price so I hope you might add one to your PC in 2025! The 8 hours was totally worth it, Keanu was so nice and it's a lifelong memory. I'll treasure that DD1 forever! Thanks for watching my friend, can't wait for Friday!
Michael, 2025 is your year to get one man and when you do I’ll be right there cheering you on! Thanks for all the kindness and support throughout the year my dude!
Great video! My wife has the hardest time buying me comics. I told her this year to get me any silver age Spidey book for $50 or less. Looking forward to seeing what I end up with.
Congrats on those amazing pickups for the year, Brandon! I've been laying low, but hope to join you in DD1 ownership in 2025! I'll check out Son of Krom, cheers!
Dude! I’ve had so much fun going back and forth with you this year. I still admire yours and your brothers collecting relationship so much so I hope to see more of that. And WHEN you get that DD1, I’ll be right there to cheer you on!
Good afternoon Brandon My it has been a busy year! What a top ten! Daredevil was always a book I read even as a kid, I still think he is the best customed non super powered hero. He has humanity, There were some great covers there, You will have a lot of topics next year I am sure. And the subs conyinue to grow, Cheers Al The GoldKeyFourcolorkidownunda

It’s a highlight of my weekend and I truly appreciate your kindness, friendship, and support. I’m truly grateful for this year and excited to see what 2025 holds. Cheers mate!
I'm glad the Daredevil early books are still reasonable! As I'm trying to re-buy them! So please stop promoting the lack of price, lol! Great SS #4, especially with an inside signature! So 3 #1's for your #1, did you do that on purpose, lol!
Yep, scratch that on the Daredevil. They aren't cheap and no one should be buying them lol. And no, I didn't even realize I had 3 #1's for my #1 until you commented lol
@@Moncomics I began re-buying DD with vol 4 and have up to vol 8 ongoing, then the completest side of my brain said why not get the other volumes? 3 and 2 were easy! But then about a year and a half ago, vol 1, I did have them down to #4 until I sold all my collections in '84. I still have 78 to go this time, but keep coming up with 1sts, that seem expensive over here in the UK! I will be doing my first DD video soon, just waiting for a new DD tee-shirt to turn up, I like wearing relevance, lol!
Matt is right, there was a "Superman Curse" that was discussed. I guess I was coming more from the angle of where a person created something that directly reflected their own guilt from a personal experience, if that makes sense? Thanks as always for watching, Jay!
A great top ten list..especially the Strange tales covers..I know how difficult it is for a family member to get comics for myself ... especially as I don't collect the big 2 ...just going for the quirky ones from the sixties...saw the latest Crow movie, didn't think much of it but so much better than the one with Tara Reid...look forward to your videos in 2025..
Thank you! And yeah, if you are an indie reader/collector it can be even harder to buy for if you’re a non collector. I’m gonna see the new Crow movie at some point and I’m sure it was a masterpiece compared to the one with Tara Reid lol. Thanks for watching!
Great books Brandon, if you like to watch Scrooge, then you should consider watching the original 1951 "A Christmas carol" in black and white...stay safe my friend!
Great pickups, my friend! We are blessed to be in this hobby with so many great people. Thanks for sharing your books with us!
Thanks Nate! Was just watching the stream you were on with Dave, Hagan, and Ricky. Great stuff, we are definitely blessed!!
