Nice Hulk 1. Definitely a 1-way ride with that. Once gone, it's gone. I have books like that. I could never buy them back or would want to. They are nice to have.
Hey Dave, this is Bob and Connecticut. I just saw this video. Yes you and I both did not do well in the September heritage auction albedo. 2 and my Superman. 1 5.0 moderate professional restoration, no trimming.. I am afraid to put anything for auction anymore. I am still devastated.. anyway, you must have a fortune because those books would not come cheaply. If you have that kind of money, you don’t have to ever get a real job good for you.. apparently, you are very wealthy. If you really are, I would not sell the Hulk.1 9.0 . You do know I was offered $100,000 for my amazing fantasy 15 6.0 and I refused it because there is no trimming it presents much better than the grade. Anyway, congratulations those are awesome books 🥳🥳🥳
Went to your website to get a good look at that Swamp Thing #1 6.0 and it is cool. CGC grader notes say "Old Bag Stain". What are the odds that an old bag would stain the cover in such a way that it lines up very well with Wrighton's trees? Crazy cool.
Hey Dave, the point is yes I know you are married and I was dating an actress. She did a lot of movies she passed away so you have responsibilities. I just have a few birds.. the point I’m trying to make if you have any money at all which you must have because you have great books that is one Book obviously, you should not get rid of. 9.2 sold recently I believe over $800,000. I think that was Heritage.. I’m afraid to sell anything at any auction after what happened to us in September if you know what I mean. Apparently you have some money I don’t work anymore. I was a bartender, waiter. Restaurant manager.. if you have Comic Books you don’t need a job..
It's kinda crazy to think that the ultra expensive books are put in the same 50 cent piece of plastic as any other book. At least it didn't get bent by the inner well. Congrats though, that book is awesome.
@@HalfmoonsPicks yea. The only way I keep up with the Timeline for the Wizard of Oz is by the Christmas Story. The Christmas Story was set in the 1940s and the cast was walking through the Mall.
Yeah he cant resist this act of stupidity. He claims they come off easy, but i have experienced otherwise which became quite the mess. Guess it might depend on how long the sticker is on. This is why i no longer buy from him. He seems to think the slab is his product or maybe he thinks that the most annoying and stupid way of advertising is the best way.
I have pulled off many of our stickers they come off with ease and no mess left behind. They are made for that. The only time there is a mess is when we use our stickers to cover up another companies stickers. And it’s their stickers that leave a mess. Mostly comiclink. Heritage are easy to take off. Comicconnect are so so
And yet again you fail to make the video interesting because you didnt tell us anything about where and how you found this Hulk1, how much you paid, was it part of a big collection you bought raw? , did you send it to CGC, did you get an upcharge notice?, etc....
@@TheNightshadePrinceyes but I would love to get a background on the comic on why it is in such a good condition, who stored it and who the original person is and where it was stored. I know about comics and their current value. I don’t want to keep listening about it
I will be making another video all about the crazy back story of this book once it sells. That way I can talk about the final sale price. I don’t know what this book will sell for so once it does then I’ll make a whole video about it.
Holy smokes. That Hulk is truly one-of-a-kind. Congrats, David!
Yes it is. I love it
Don't send that Hulk 1 to Heritage or it will sell for $280000
Ya I’m hoping to sell it to someone private
I recognize that Hulk 9.0......from a Swedish auction a few months ago, right?!
What a crazy grail! Man do I wish to own a book like that!
Nice Hulk 1. Definitely a 1-way ride with that. Once gone, it's gone. I have books like that. I could never buy them back or would want to. They are nice to have.
Ya sad. Wish I could keep it
The beginning of this video and your smile was awesome 😂
Thanks
I was all..”OH $hit! When I saw the grade!” Does this book have a story?
$825K + 6% tax with Heritage = $875K
Ya that’s true. Sales tax would suck on this value of a book
Thanks for doing this video Dave.
I’ll sell you them books rn bro

Well I have to sell it. I wish I could keep it. But can’t. Part of business
I like to see that even you can get star struck by a comic book still.
yes I am star struck. hulk is my favorite, I hope one day when i'm older I can re-get this book
Don't sell it!!!!
Yes Don't sell it! I'm a 70s kid and the Incredible Hulk is my absolute favorite! Since the TV show! For US Incredible Hulk Fans Don't Sell!!!
Wow great score!!!
Moral of the story - rich people keep getting richer while 95 percent of the population struggles.
Great find Dave! At least you can say you owned a Hulk #1 9.0 at one point.
I'll never forget it, it's a moment I'll always cherish.
Why don't you Keep it?

Ya I saw the notes, and I've never seen "old bag stain" before. But I think its pretty cool
The only book I own in that incredible stack you have is a Hulk 180 in a 5.0 EGS
Sick books!!! How hard is that to just keep for your personal? Especially with it being a Hulk!!
I wish I could but financially its not something I can do
@ I understand. Hopefully one day, we’ll be in that position!
What was the cost to grade all of those ? Dang
15k to grade this
@ComicBookInvestments dayuuuum . Crazy

I know this guy called Rick who owns a pawn shop in Las Vegas. He might be interested in the Hulk 1. He’ll probably tell you he’s taking all the risk.
Haha, and he will offer 50K take it or leave it
He has overhead and will have to bring in an “expert”
Incredible book! How come you don’t go into the story of how you acquired the collection, circumstances, price paid, etc.
That will be another lone video for just the book itself once it sells so I can include the final price in it
Very cool! But where did the collection come from?
Sounds like a love angels tour bus!
Hahahha I wish. Just need a tour to go on now
Congrats on holding such a rare book Dave.
Really Nice Hulk 1. That's a very rare book in that grade. I'll check out if there's anyone interested.
Thank you

I know, I talked about it at length as well with PSA that there needs to be a super case for very expensive books. I'd be happy to pay more
The Wizard of Oz 1939. I thought it was earlier too. :)
I was close

And people say the decadence isn’t comparable to Rome, tens of millions for some worn out dancing shoes. This is why America is collapsing.

This is insane!
Is Absolute Batman graded 9.8 worth buying at $100 ?
No! There were a couple million printed.
My story; mom wouldn't let me buy Hulk #1 from my lcs back in the 70s. (WITH MY OWN MONEY) $30 was way too much to spend on a comic.😂
Dang :(
Bro please tell me you didn’t put one of your company’s super sticky industrial stickers on the back of that 9.0 hulk 1 slab 😂

Beautiful Hulk #1 CGC 9.0!!!!!
Why do they do 1.8 lol
Can you get our books signed by a CGC witness Dave?
Hahaha that would be awesome
I’d like to buy that Hulk 1 9.0 but inflation has doubled the cost of my Yacht purchase. 🤣
hahahah
HULK #! in a 9.0!!!! Excelsior!!! HULK SMASH! 'Nuff Said!!! So how about 10k a year for 50 years?
Hahaha well unless I get my robot body I don’t think I’ll be living that long
I’d keep it, dude.
wish I could
Wow
Please dont Sell that Incredible Hulk #1!!!
I wish I didn’t have to
