Cayenne pepper has also stopped and/or reversed heat attacks! Or at worst, kept the patient alive until they got to the hospital. If you Google medicinal benefits of _____ (pick your spice/herb) just make sure you're sitting down before you Google lol

Check to see if there is a dental school in your area. Our disabled son uses one and the prices are great, plus the work is excellent because the students are in their final year and supervised by excellent instructors.

My urgent care has a nurse practitioner that practices natural medicine. I left my family doc for this guy. He is not in my insurance network so it costs me a bit more for self pay, but so worth it! I have never felt better with the plan the natural med nurse practitioner has me on! I trust him way more than the family M.D. I was seeing (all he did was push prescriptions). And this natural medicine nurse prescribed ivermectin and HCQ during covid. People were lined up at his door during Covid.

Homeopathic drs r great but expensive. They don’t take insurance but will spend time with u to find the root of the problem & not put a bandaid on it with drugs, injections, procedures that help temporarily but u still have the same problem unless it’s risky surgery especially back surgery that might work or paralyze you. I try going the natural route bc I don’t trust drs, hospitals which r run by insurance & pharmaceutical companies. My husband had stage 4 cancer his dr said with chemo he would live 6 yrs, the 2nd dr we saw said was honest & said chemo will destroy the quality of life u have left which isn’t much. He trusted the chemo dr & died in 12 months his medical bills were over $1 million. Even with insurance I was bombarded with medical bills, the hospitals, drs, chemo drugs, tests, scans all wanted their money now even as I was paying them monthly. I paid what I could afford as a single parent now but they kept hounding me until someone told me as long as ur making monthly payments ur ok they r just trying to scare u.

For anyone who has a food saver using those pouches you can make your own heat and ice packs.
Ice: add 2/3 water with 1/3 isopropyl alcohol. Leave room inside bag for expansion. Seal and Toss in freezer.
Heat: Choose size of pack, add water ( leave extra room!) and seal. Throw in microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Test before doing a second 30 seconds!!!

But generally, if you want to know how it works ... they love to take your money but they really don't want to give you anything back for that money. That's how most insurances seem to work 🙄

I had three rotator cuff surgeries on my right shoulder before I had to have it replaced and two or three surgeries on the left before that shoulder was replaced. I’m very petite and don't recognize any limits. I live alone and live a very physical life - we were taught to do everything ourselves. Anyway, I truly feel what ‘The Man’ is going through. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. Surgery is followed by a 12 weeek rehab.
I used a TENS unit for the pain before surgery. I did get full range of motion back after all the surgeries including the replacements.

Well done. You and The Kid did it right. Your poor Man! The problem is that there is a lack of PCPs now. The one's out there are completely overwhelmed. Hardly anyone goes to Medical School to become a PCP at this point, because Specialists make waaaay more money. It's awful. I have EDS/MCA/POTS/Whatever other alphabet letters we find out as we go. There is ONE PCP in my area covered by my insurance that just changed. I called to get thing rolling and she is booked out for 3 months. The main Specialist for Ehler Danlos in Oregon, where I live has a 7 YEAR waiting list. I am going to have to learn on my own and wait to get to OHSU where there are some doctors dealing with this. My daughter has this too. It's genetic. So, she has practically become a Specialist herself due to what she has been through. I have been told repeatedly, by the Medical People themselves, that the Medical System in this country is the worst it's ever been...third world kind of bad. The meds I am on give me dry mouth and (now I know) tooth problems. I have a cavity. I can't get it filled until JANUARY 2025. I can get a cleaning in October, but that's it. Fun times!!!

So in Jan his deductible starts but then in July a new insurance starts so the yearly deductible starts again. Like you, nothing (including scripts for us), get paid until deductible is met. So if deductible is $5000, it’s $5000 Jan 1- June 30, then deductible is $5000 July 1st-Dec 31st. I don’t see how this is legal but apparently it is. Then we pay weekly for this crappy insurance.

Insurance is the main reason I have stayed at the same job for so long! Often times if your insurance covers going to express or urgent care they have lower rates and are more upfront about the costs. Hopefully Kevin can get answers and be on the mend soon!

Vicks vapo rub on feet then put warm socks on. Worked for my 6 kids when had high fevers. My mom learned from a pharmacist as my sister would run really high fevers with seizures. Also cool moist cloth on back of neck & joint areas. Used to do vinegar baths but haven't heard of that in years.

I usually use Urgent Care. Figured I'd better get a family doctor. Made an appointment in March, they have no appointments until October. Told me if need be, go to urgent care or the Emergency room. Shortage of doctors? I need a dermatologist. Nope, need a referral before i can see one. Ugh.

RJ from PA Hi Michelle I'm glad you are letting us know what's going on with your man's shoulder. I clicked on 1 of the 2 of his videos and his arm was in a sling. It's always something in life it can never run smoothly. I just moved and we have an urgent care. I have to get a new pcp, dentist. I messed up my rotator cuff at work. I lifted a docket and it was too high and thank God I missed it falling on my foot. Then I was in a car accident and got messed up and quit my job. I really could of sued them. I'm on SSD. So you played nurse😂. I'll be keeping you all in my prayers😊
