    Event speakers:
Claire Sand - BHF Director of Research Engagement hosts and guides us through this webinar by introducing some of the BHF-funded research into wearable digital devices and posing viewers’ questions to our panel of experts.
Kevin McGovern-Ims - BHF supporter talks about being diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy after collapsing while playing football, having an ICD fitted, and how he feels less anxious about his condition by using a wearable fitness device to monitor his exercise and track his heart rate.
Rob Underwood - BHF Senior Heart Story Officer helps to navigate through Kevin’s story.
Professor Mark Hamer - Professor of Sport and Exercise Medicine at University College London discusses his BHF-funded research into leading a global study involving 72,000 people to understand how activity levels, sitting time and sleep influence our risk of heart and circulatory disease.
