Dear Armando, I am not sure if diuretics and ace inhibitors are avalaible for such patients. I've been taught that decreasing the blood volume might cause the mitral valve insufficiancy go worse and reduce the aortic volume which is already low. I'd be glad if you reply me and tell me the mechanism behind the diuretic usage. We love you.
In my experience as a cardiac Sonographer, large LV volumes tend to increase mitral insufficiency (depending on morphology) through annular stretching as the LV gets bigger. Not infrequent to see severe mitral insufficiency become mild with treatment that results in a smaller LV dimension. On the flip side, if a patient is volume depleted with normal function the mitral apparatus can get sucked up into the outflow tract via a venturi effect and result in mitral regurgitation, as well as an outflow obstruction. The mitral valve is very dynamic.
A prescription of 50mg phenergan (promethazine) crashed my heart,,,now I have all the symptoms of cardiomyopathy 7 months later,, my life totally ruined.
I’m too late, but it’s syncitium. Two types- true, and functional. True- one cell contains many nuclei. Functional- many mono-nuclear cells connected and synced in such a way that they function as a single unit. Hope this helps.

Alcoholic cardiomyopathy is when the Dilated Cardiomyopathy is caused by alcohol abuse right?
Ha..My father had it.
Is curable or not ,please reply sir
depends on the cause, some are potentially reversible (nutritional, alcoholic). ultimately a heart transplant can help even non reversible causes
