================================= How to work with me: ================================= 😎 One-on-one Consulting for planning your move abroad: calendly.com/adventurefreaksss/50min
This was so good, and real. I lived overseas for a time, and looking to go back to an overseas way of life. I went back to the USA because of Covid. The Country I was in, just like everywhere else was overrun, and I decided not to be a burden. Embrace, Embrace it. Its going to be different. But its going to be wonderful. Always be aware of what is going on around you, and learn who You can trust. I made not just Friends, but lifelong Family!! 😊
Thank you for sharing these beautiful, positive , inspirational videos 📹. I was waiting for your American/Colombian buddy..you did 3 videos with him. I wanted to hear his perspective on living in Colombia because I want to retire there. Hopefully in the next video.
@IronArrowsHomestead not the Bogotá guy. The other man with beard who lives in the country..they sold the house...bought a car from profits 📈 & rent in the country on a Colombian family land/ Finca.
These are all great people, Ré included. But I think what holds many people back is the unwillingness to leave behind close family and concern about maintaining their North American standard of medical services and medications when needed. Plus I can't help but notice that most folks we see on UA-cam who have done the best thing by moving abroad are usually (not always) SINGLE. This would seem to have significant implications for easy mobility.....
Living in a "3rd world country" can be a wonderful experience. Don't expect things to be like home, but then again that's the fun of it. I took a trip to Ecuador for 5 weeks of lodging, plane fare down and back with 4 flights in country - total bill was $1,425 plus food, which was easily under $10 a day. It can be done so do it!! If I had skipped Manta it would have been more like $900 plus food for 4 weeks. Like Nike said "Just do it!"
Did you go through a tour company in Ecuador? I have a friend I've interviewed a couple times in Ecuador (Check out our Ecuador Videos) who takes interested retirees on tours around Ecuador.
Hey thanks ! For this beautiful videos . I tried send you a contact form or email without success . I live in the D.R. Soon moving to Bogotá , Colombia . the cost of living has gone up more that 65% since Covid and the situation with the neighbors ( Haiti) is worse everyday . We are about to disappear as Dominicans.

Just look at that. I basically said "be flexible". Then the other contributer from Paraguay said much the same...
Yes! Thank you Simon. You have the best voice my friend!!
My requirements are good coffee and cream.
The ability for flexibility and adopting the new culture and language is not something everybody is able to undertake.
Very true!
It’s the language thing for me! I have a hard time learning new things the older I get.
